Humanity is sharply divided into two opposing worlds as we live out our allotted time during this era: 1)God’s world inhabited by His people and 2) Satan’s world inhabited by his people. Satan’s world consists of everything the Biblical God condemns. All of humanity lives physically in that world. But there is a tiny group of people who, though living physically in Satan’s world, live spiritually in God’s world. These are those who strive to please Him by obeying His Truth, which Jesus Christ identified as His Word (Jn. 17:17). Those in God’s group, whom He calls sheep, know that many within Satan’s group, whom God calls goats, pretend to be His sheep. Today, some two billion goats are involved in a counterfeit version of God’s true church. This religious deception is as old as the church itself. The Apostle Paul addressed counterfeit sheep in his letter to the churches in Galatia where he described the gospel they had embraced as “perverted” (1:6).
Perversion produces perversion. A perverted gospel has produced a perverted church. The perverted church serves a perverted god–Satan, the “prince of the world” (Jn. 12:41;14:30). This blasphemous error places the deceived church in the same category as the unchurched in the eyes of God. One either serves God by walking in His light or serves Satan by walking in his darkness. Contrary to Counterfeit Church theology, there is no mixing of light and darkness, for “… in Him (Jesus) there is “NO DARKNESS AT ALL (1 Jn. 1:5). Where does this leave “sinners saved by grace?”
And just as do college and university students, participants in the Counterfeit Church have their Safe Spaces. In the confines of their “churches” they are protected from hearing any statement from God’s Holy Bible that their particular church, faith, denomination, sect, cult, order, etc. deems unacceptable, which includes approximately 80% of the Lord’s printed Word. Within their Safe Spaces, participants in Catholicism/Protestantism are safe from the pain inflicted by God’s sword–His Word (Eph. 6:17)–which would open them up and expose the spiritual darkness in which they live (Heb. 4:12). Because they present their darkness as God’s light, He calls their doctrines, customs, etc. “great darkness” (Mat. 6:23). These misguided souls love their darkness more than God’s light (Jn. 3:19).
Jesus proclaimed in John 8:12 that those who follow Him would not walk in the false church’s darkness, but would walk in His light/Word/Truth. With extremely few exceptions, the Truths of the Holy Bible are anathema (cursed, banned) by those who walk in Satan’s counterfeit light. In their Safe Spaces they are protected from God’s Truths. And woe unto anyone having the temerity to speak His Truths in their presence. Such a one soon finds himself on the outside (where light rules) looking in (where darkness rules). Take the word of one who answered God’s call to “come out of darkness and into His marvelous light” (1 Pet. 2:9). Today I would not be allowed to speak in one of those citadels of darkness if Jesus Himself appeared and audibly commanded it.
Strict enforcement of Safe Space rules of expression, thought and action has rendered the churches free from the Word of God. They will remain protected from His Word and safe from His influence until the return of His Son. In this end-time Laodicean Church era (Rev. 3:14-20), a minutely few souls are answering His call to “come out of her and be separate,” to “touch not the unclean thing” (2 Cor. 6:17). He has promised to be the God of (only) those who obey His command. L.J.
