The Holy Sabbath is a sign that identifies for sanctified saints Who is their God, their Lord Whom they obey. The celebration of God’s Sabbath identifies the true Biblical God. The observance of any other sabbath identifies the celebrant’s other god whose name is Satan.

In Revelation 12:9 Jesus stated that “Satan has deceived the whole world.” In Second Corinthians 4:4 the Apostle Paul, led by the Holy Spirit, states that SATAN IS THE GOD OF THIS WORLD. Here we need to define a couple of words. The word “earth” refers to the dirt, rocks, waters, vegetation, etc. that make up the round object upon which the “world” exists. The “world” is what man has created on the earth–nations, businesses, governments, organizations, families, systems, religions, etc.

In First Corinthians 8:5 says that there were at that time “gods many and lords many.” Nothing has changed. Those who defy the Biblical God’s commandments are gods of their own making. They obey their own commands, therefore making themselves their own lord. These are self-defined, self-identified and self-enthroned Christians. Other religions have their respective gods. Rumor has it that Catholicism has a female god (goddess?). I recently read that Pope Leo said that Mary was Catholiciam’s god. I hope that is not true, but knowing what I know about that cult, I can believe he said it and that one and a half billion people agree with him. The world in general, including the so-called “Christian world,” worships and serves a god who is their lord whom they obey. There is little uniformity; each group serves its particular god/goddess in its own way. These are all HEATHEN RELIGIONS whose adherents unknowingly worship and serve ALL CONTROLLING, SINGULAR HEATHEN GOD (Satan) who, in order to keep his identity secret, provides each religious group with its own personal god. Each group’s god is the one Satan used to create that particular group/religion/faith/church, denomination, etc. Good examples of this Truth are (1) the Protestant Religion which was created by Martin Luther and (2) the Islamic Religion created by Mohammad. In some cases different factions within a religion have been created by different people within that religion. Examples are the hundreds of denominations (cults) found within Protestantism and the two cults found within the Islamic religion. This abominable situation exists within so-called Christianity in spite of the fact that the Apostle Paul (who received His Gospel from Jesus Himself–Gal. 1:12) tells us in Ephesians 4:5,6 that there is ONE BODY (CHURCH), ONE HOLY SPIRIT, ONE HOPE, ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL. Hundreds of voices from hundreds of cults claim to be that one religion.

Satan has his so-called “Christian” churches along with a number of other religions such as Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, etc. Hundreds of church groups have clustered under the name “Christian” though their ministers, like their counterparts in other religions, are in reality Satan’s false prophets who have led the masses to Him while assuring their congregations that they are headed to heaven. Paul, in Second Corinthians 11:14,15 shows us how this is done: “… Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light … and his apostles into ministers of righteous ….” These people, claiming to be Christ’s messengers, have deceived those who seek salvation through the God they refuse to obey, Who has prepared a paradise for them and Who, upon death, will take them directly to where their mansion awaits along a street of gold. AND YET THEY REFUSE TO OBEY HIM. Verse 13 begins the narrative relative to Satan’s workers: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers who transform themselves into the apostles of Christ.” What’s more, in order to deflect suspicion away from themselves, they accuse true, Bible-based ministers of Christ of being false apostles and their followers of being deceived and headed for hell.

It is declared that the one we obey is the one we serve, which is in reality our God, whether it is the Biblical God, a white wolf, the sun or some other being or thing. This world, including the “Christian World,” is not taught to obey the Biblical God. The churches exalt human conscience, activated by Satan’s false teachings, over God’s Law, which has supposedly been “put away.” The world obeys Satan by sinning, the Biblical definition of which is provided by the Apostle John in First John 3:4: “To transgress the Law is sin; for sin is the transgression of the Law.” This is the same Law that was supposedly nailed to the cross of Christ. The fourth commandment of that Law concerns God’s Holy Sabbath. Apparently, only nine of the ten commandments need to be obeyed during these final days of the final era of the world as we know it. Recall that God made a SPECIAL SABBATH COVENANT WITH HIS PEOPLE (Exo. 31). Notice verse 17 of that covenant where God said to Moses concerning His Holy Sabbath: “It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever, for (BECAUSE) in six days the Lord crated heaven and earth (and everything in or on them), and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.” God created and does everything “FOR” (BECAUSE) He has a specific reason. The almighty has a reason for doing everything He does. He does not normally share with us the reasons behind His doings. He noted that His ways were not man’s ways, a fact for which we should be thankful, in that we humans seem to find ways to mess up just about everything He does, beginning in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, He had a reason for setting aside the final day of creation week for Himself and man to rest.

It was on the seventh day of creation week that God chose to rest from His efforts. Only the last day of the week points back to creation, a distinction that firmly identifies God for Who and What He is. Creation proves that the Biblical God is the true God and that no one or no thing other than Him is the Creator, the true God, the Lord who must be obeyed. ONLY THE BIBLICAL GOD CAN CREATE. The irony of the Sabbath question is that the created think they outrank their Creator. Can anything be any more Satanic?

All who do not worship and obey the Biblical God believe that the created is greater than that which did the creating. Common sense tells us that this cannot be the Truth. The Truth is that everything that exists in its original form was created by a Creator, the one and only one Who creates. The power to create identifies the true God. The act of creation proves beyond a doubt that all that He created is of lesser value than the Creator Himself. Creation is THE proof of God’s existence. It is proof that He is superior not only to any other god, but that He is superior to the entire universe combined–BECAUSE HE IS THE CREATOR OF IT.

For this reason I find it incredible that puny, created man believes that he can undo what God has done and create something that is superior to what God created. This is what man does when he chooses Sunday, or another day, as God’s–Sabbath. In other words, churchman tells God to just sit down and shut up. And not to send one of His apostles to tell them anything. Someone please show me in the Holy Scriptures where God, after thousands of years, gave Pope Sylvester I the authority to change His Holy Sabbath to another day. L.J.
