Spiritually, there two types of people on earth: Israelites and Gentiles. In the Hebrew language the word “Hebrew” means “power with God.” It was God Who changed the patriarch Jacob’s name to Israel before making him one of the founders of His (God’s) CHOSEN PEOPLE. He, along with his grandfather and father–Abraham and Isaac respectively–are known Scripturally as “the fathers” of the twelve tribes of Israel as they are called in Hebrews 1:1. BIOLOGICAL ISRAELITES are the genetic descendants of “the fathers.” SPIRITUAL ISRAELITES are those Israelites and Gentiles who have embraced Jesus Christ as God’s Messiah and obey Their Law (Genesis to Revelation). That Law was condensed into the Ten Commandments which the Old Testament God–then known as “the Word” (Gk. Logos)–wrote in stone and presented to the recently freed Israelites who had arrived at Mt. Sinai. Those commandments constituted His one and only way to become and continue to be His spiritual nation described in First Peter 2:9. Read The God of the Old Testament. Key word–Testament.

The English word “Gentile” is goiim in Hebrew and means heathen–worshipers of false gods. Gentiles who embrace Jesus Christ and obey His Law become SPIRITUAL ISRAELITES who are heirs of all that God promised His people at Mt. Sinai, in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. However, biological Israelites were not alone when they arrived at the famous site. When God freed Israel from Egyptian slavery, “a mixed multitude came out (of Egypt) with them” (Exo. 12:38). These were Gentiles who had been conquered and enslaved by the mighty Egyptian army. These biological Gentiles became spiritual Israelites by agreeing to obey the Israelites’ God Who had freed them. At Mt. Sinai, God (Who would later come to earth as Jesus of Nazareth) viewed both Israelites and biological Gentiles as His people after they agreed to obey His Ten Commandment Law. Those Israelites and Gentiles who did so would enter the land He had promised the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Most of the adults at Mt. Sinai failed to enter because they disobeyed Him. As punishment, the Lord caused them to wander in the Sinai Deseret for 40 years while everyone above the age of 20 died off. Then, led by Joshua and Caleb, their descendants entered what is known as the “Promised Land.” Approximately seven million of their descendants live there today and are the center of the world’s attention, exactly as God prophesied would be the case. Jesus Christ came to earth to remind those Israelites who remained in the Promised Land (tribes of Judah and Benjamin (Judahites–nicknamed “Jews” by the King James interpreters) of their promised Messiah, and to tell them that He was the fulfillment of that promise. He told His apostles to go into all the world, find the other ten tribes, tell them about Him and preach His Gospel to them. They did so. Today, God’s true church (not Catholicism/Protestantism) is comprised of those biological Israelites and biological Gentiles who obey His Ten Commandment Law with faith in Jesus Christ, thereby making them SPIRITUAL ISRAELITES. God has stated that spiritual Gentiles (Law-breakers–sinners–1 Jn. 3:4), being carnally minded, will not enter His Kingdom due to having rejected much of His Spirit-inspired Word. Those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth (Jn. 4:24). GOD’S WORD IS TRUTH (Jn. 17:17). Jesus of Nazareth is the WORD (Jn. 1:1-4,14), the TRUTH (Jn. 14:6) and the LIFE (1 Jn.1:2). To deny the veracity of any of Christ’s Words is to deny Christ Himself (Titus 1:16), Who is the Word, the way, the Truth and the life in human form (Jn. 14:6) Whose Words must be obeyed in order to inherit ETERNAL LIFE (Mk. 10:17/ Jn. 6:86).

The Lord first gave His Word (Law) to the ancient Israelites who, by obeying that Law, would become His “light to the Gentiles,” some of whom would be drawn to their light, would embrace their light and would thereby become children of God (Isa. 42:6; 62:1,2). Later He sent His apostles into other (Gentile) nations to find the Israelites who were then living in those nations. They would tell those Israelites about Him, about His light (Word) and would make converts of those with eyes to see and ears to hear the “things of God.” They in turn would draw Gentiles to their light (Mat. 28:19,20). These were the same “things of God” (light) He had told Isaiah to tell the Gentiles of his day. He then had the prophet write the “things of God” in a book to be used for instructing truth-seekers during the final era of this world, the era in which we are living today (1 Cor. 10:11).

Today, God’s true church is comprised of those few spiritual Israelites who believe God’s light/Word/Truth and obey it. In Isaiah 10:17 and Romans 6:23 God warned that He would destroy any and all who would not come to, embrace and obey His light. God’s true saints have the Law written in their hearts/minds (Rom. 2:14,15/Isa. 51:7,8), making them “Spiritual Israelites” (Rom. 11:17-25) which, in my estimation, number around 10,000 today.

The Apostle Paul–God’s “apostle to the Gentiles”–reminded the Gentile churches in Rome, Galatia, Ephesus and Corinth that, prior to their conversions, they had been “spiritual Gentiles” (1 Cor. 12:2/Eph. 2:11-13). As such they had been “without Christ, aliens from Israel, strangers from the (old and new) covenants, without hope and without God in the world.” Nothing has changed. That description applies to all of those who are today guilty of INIQUITY–BREAKING GOD’S LAW. Read what Jesus says about Law-rejecting religious organizations in Matthew 7:21-23.

To the former spiritual Gentiles (heathen) in the Rome church (and those in “the church” today). Paul wrote that spiritual Gentiles (both Israelite and Gentile) are enmity against God, walk in the flesh, are slaves of sin (iniquity–Lawless), enemies of God, without strength, unjustified, spiritually dead, blind, foolish, wild, not a people, sinners and children of wrath (Rom. 8:7; 7:5; 6:20; 20:55:10; 6:2; 2:13; 6:23; 2:19; 10:9; 11:17-25, Gal. 2:15; Eph. 2:32). Note that Paul was writing to and about the church of his day. Nothing has changed.

Sadly, Paul’s words fell on deaf ears then and continue to do so today as Second Peter 2:1-3 tells us. He warned that false prophets were already preaching damnable heresies and men were believing their lies while rejecting God’s Truths. As the Apostle John warned, the spirit of antichrist was already at work in the church (1 Jn. 2:18) even at that early date (85-100 A.D.). That Satanic spirit continues to spread falsehoods relative to God’s Word. In so doing they are following in their mentor’s religious footsteps as recorded in Genesis 3:1-4. His success has historical roots. Jeremiah warned that one day the Gentiles would recognize that their fathers had been told lies (16;19). The prophet served God between 625 and 586 B.C. The spirit of Antichrist was already at work and had been since Adam’s Eden fiasco.

That the same spirit is in control of the Institutional Church today is evidenced by the universal denial of God’s Word AMONG THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE HIS PEOPLE. At the same time, man’s interpretation of (wishful thinking about) God’s Word is universally embraced as God’s Truth. Man, under Satan’s control, spreads lies about such things as God’s Law, life after death, the celebration of heathen holidays such as Easter and Christmas, religious symbols, idolatry, denominations, heaven, the rapture, the Trinity, God’s Sabbath, His Holy Days, spiritual Gentilism, grace, salvation/rebirth, human nature, justification, sanctification, conversion, Christ’s resurrection, the Kingdom of God, the Old Testament God, the Gospel, etc.

The Proverbist describes spiritual Gentilism as “a way that seems right to a man, but that way is the way of death” (Pr.14:12). Today, spiritual Gentilism consists of hundreds of ways that “seem right” to billions of people, proving that Satan has indeed “deceived the whole world” (Rev. 12:9).

We must prove what is right through the study of the Holy Bible (1 Thes. 5:21/ Isa. 58:9-13). We must reject the numerous lies being put forth by the Institutional Catholic/Protestant Religious System known as “Christianity.” Then we must obey the Lord’s command found in Second Corinthians 6:14-7:1.
