Is the United States of America in God’s crosshairs?  Was He referring to both ancient Israel (12 tribes) and modern Israel (U.S., Britain, the Jews) when speaking through Isaiah, Daniel, Habakkuk, Jesus of Nazareth and His apostles then and how?  Let us compare the warnings of Moses in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 to the present condition of the once greatly blessed nation called America–the city on a hill whose light was once seen by the rest of the world as a beacon of godliness.  Has America’s fallen beyond repair?  Does the world now see Satan’s darkness where God’s light once broke forth?  Is God’s wrath being poured out on her?  To answer those questions let us compare Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 to the nation’s nightly news cycles.  One will find the Lord’s prophecies and the evening news in perfect agreement.  What God warned about is taking place in real time.

God promised to bless the descendants of Abraham because of his perfect, unquestioning obedience.  The Lord’s promise of blessings was unconditional on the part of the patriarch’s descendants.  The Lord promised to bless Israel regardless of her behavior.  But there was another side to that coin.  There would come a point in time when He would hold Abraham’s descendants (Israel) accountable for their behavior.  He would continue to bless those of Israel who obeyed Him, but would curse those who did not, both personally and nationally.  The United States, Britain and the Jewish nation of Judah (called Israel) were established by Manasseh, Ephraim and Judah respectively.  God’s dealings with them reveals that the Lord did exactly as He promised in terms of blessing and cursing.

In the first dozen or so verses of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 God promises to bless ancient and modern Israel IF THEY OBEYED HIS LAW.  In the following verses He promises to curse her IF THEY DISOBEYED HIS LAW.  The rest is history.  Let us compare God’s anciently spoken Word to current events.  Recall that I am using the United States as my example of the veracity of God’s Word.

As we explore Moses’ warning words found in Leviticus and Deuteronomy we will compare what he wrote thousands of years ago to what Americans find themselves facing each day and have been facing for many years.  To determine the future, one need only compare the past to the present and project forward.  Doing so we can determine what America will soon face.  One will find that her future is exactly as God prophesied it would be due to her sins.  One will notice that not only are the anciently-written Scriptures and the current state of affairs terribly similar, but that what God prophesied is increasing in both the number of curses coming on America and their devastating effects.  We will now begin our ancient prophecy-current affairs comparison.  As you read, think about last night’s newscast.

In Leviticus 26:14-32 and Deut. 28:14-68 we find the Lord warning that He would curse His chosen people in the following ways for their disobedience toward him, which He refers to as “despising His commandments.”  Recall that in Luke 10:16 Jesus said that to reject His Word as spoken and written by His New Testament messengers reveals that one despises both Himself and His Father.  Because of this attitude toward Their Holy Word, They would send “terror, disease and famine” on the disobedient as they watched their enemies take and consume what they had worked so hard to produce.  Crop failure would be nation-wide as God would “withhold the early (spring) and late (fall) rains” that are necessary for good crop yields.  They would suffer “sorrow of heart” as they watched their loved ones “die by the sword” and their killers “reign over them.”  God promised the disobedient that He would “smite them with madness and blindness and astonishment of heart.”  They would be so filled with terror that they would “flee when no one pursued them.”  Their enemy would “come at them one way and they would flee seven ways.”  Everything they did would fail.  Their wives would be “given to other men; their grapes would be eaten by their enemies.” Their houses would be “given to their enemies.”  God promised to afflict sinners with diseases “from head to foot.”  God promised to periodically call for repentance.  If repentance and reversal of life is not forthcoming, He warns that He will make the terror “seven times worse.”

God warns that He will “break the pride of Israel’s national power” by destroying her military both in terms of weapons and attitude.  America will lose her armaments and her military men would refuse to fight.  Instead, she would serve her enemies and fear them as they rise up over them.  Once-great Israel/America will “become a byword and a proverb among the nations.”

He warns that He will not hear the prayers of those who still bothered to pray.  Their “heaven would turn to brass and their earth to iron.”  “Wild beasts would kill the people,” especially children.  Famine would claim many lives.  Their carcasses would “become meat for the fowls of the air”  Parents would eventually “eat their children.”  Those who survive would be “given to strangers.”

God warns that He would “destroy the nation’s religious symbols and end religious services” because of the people’s lack of obedience to Him.

He promises to “destroy Israel’s cities.”  America’s enemies would “rise up within her and marvel at the Lord’s punishment” of what was once His light to the world.  His chosen people would be defeated militarily.  The few survivors would be taken into foreign lands as slaves where they would “waste away in their sorrow,” knowing that they had brought their doom upon themselves.  They will be given away because no one would buy them.  Modern Israel would become desolate.  “Then the land will have its Sabbaths of rest” as God had commanded.

Compare the Lord’s promised curses on Israel to America’s daily news reports, bearing in mind that the liberal media does not report everything.  If a news item conflicts with the organization’s liberal agenda, we will hear and see only a small fraction of it, if anything.  THE SITUATION ON THE GROUND IS MUCH WORSE THAN WHAT WE ARE BEING TOLD AND SHOWN.

America has not won a war since WWII.  She is being overrun by people who want what our ancestors worked and fought for.  Many of our “guests” hate us.  Some are ordered by their god to kill us if we will not convert to their religion.  Our tax dollars are going to feed, house, medicate and transport those who are overwhelming us.  America recently elected many of her enemies.  Our enemies are among us and are doing everything they can to destroy us so that, as their ultimate leader said, they can “… fundamentally transform the United States of America” from a representative republic into a communist dictatorship.  Jobama and his administration are doing everything they can to make America rot from within.  And they are succeeding.

And Who is causing them to succeed in their attempt to destroy the United States of America?  The same One Who placed her into power to serve as His shining star of holiness–ALMIGHT GOD.  As Moses warned in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, THE LORD HAS CURSED, IS CURSING AND WILL CONTINUE TO CURSE MODERN ISRAEL UNTO HER TOTAL ERADICATION. 

Why?  BECAUSE SHE HAS FOLLOWED SATAN’S CHURCH SYSTEM INTO A SPIRITUAL ABYSS BY REJECTING HIS WORDS, DESTROYING HIS LAW AND FLAUNTING HER WICKEDNESS FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE.  GOD’S RAGE IS ONLY BEGINNING TO BE REVEALED BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND CORPORATELY.  WE ARE WITNESSING WHAT JESUS CALLED “THE BEGINNINGS OF SORROWS.”  THE GREAT TRIBULATION AND THE DAY OF THE LORD ARE ON THE WAY.  INDIVIDUAL AND NATIONAL SUFFERING ARE ONLY JUST BEGINNING TO BE FELT.  WE HAVE SOWN THE WIND; THE WHIRLWIND IS GATHERING ITS FORCES.  

Dear reader: “Save yourself from this untoward (wicked) generation” (Acts 2:40), “Repent and be converted so that your sins can be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).  Note that one has to save oneself by coming out of the world and its false church system (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1), embracing the Word of the Lord, believing and obeying it.  So-called “sinners saved by grace” must be converted–must affect a total change of direction–and must not look back.  They must obey Christ’s command to “Go and sin no more” (Jn. 8:11).  Cling to the Lord, revere Him, fear Him, obey Him without caveat.  He is calling you through this website.  Hear Him and obey His voice.  L.J.
