In Luke 10:16 Jesus makes clear the Godhead’s attitude toward those who do not believe and obey Their Words. He stated Their feelings toward Scripture-rejecters in terms that a child can understand–to reject one or more Biblical Words is to DESPISE BOTH FATHER AND SON. No one studying this passage with a heart open to God’s written voice can deny this. However, people in the Counterfeit Church have two basic problems: they do not study the Bible; they do not have open hearts. They read, believe and obey what their false prophets tell them. At this time I will remind the reader of several Biblical Truths that the whole of Catholicism/Protestantism summarily reject, thereby revealing their rejection of both members of the Godhead. Before doing so I will remind those who reject the Old Testament of what God said in Ephesians 2:20–the New Covenant Church was founded on the teachings of the Old Testament PROPHETS and the New Covenant APOSTLES. He also said that the New Covenant Church is “the ISRAEL OF GOD” (Gal. 6:16). And that He said in Romans 15:4 and 1 Corinthians 15:11 that the Old Testament was recorded and handed down for OUR INSTRUCTION. And that the apostles TAUGHT THE CHURCH OUT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT because the New Testament had not been written at the time of their ministries and would not come into being until after they had left the scene. See The Importance of the Old Testament. Now let us examine a few of God’s DOCTRINES THAT THE CHURCH DESPISES, which proves that they also DESPISE THE AUTHORS OF THOSE DOCTRINES.

The 7th day (Saturday) Sabbath: In Exodus 16:4 God told Moses that He was going to prove (test) the Israelites to see if they would obey His commandments. His test involved the Sabbath which He had established in the Garden of Eden for all people for all time. There was neither a Jew nor an Israelite in Eden. The church will agree that everything the Godhead created during creation week still stands–EXCEPT HIS SABBATH. Man has done away with it and replaced it with Satan’s Sabbath–the day sun god worshipers (catholics and protestants) honor their god. On Mt. Sinai God chiseled in stone the 10 Commandments, the 4th of which commanded all mankind to “… REMEMBER THE SABBATH and KEEP IT HOLY.” He was telling them, and all of mankind, to REMEMBER the Sabbath He had created in the Garden of Eden. The church will agree that the commandments are still in effect–EXCEPT HIS SABBATH COMMANDMENT–the “test commandment.” The Institutional Church has been tested by the Lord and failed. But those in Satan’s church system are not concerned because he has convinced them that eternal life is guaranteed by their participation in his church system. The fix, he has assured them, is in. I can almost hear him whispering to today’s Sabbath-breakers: “Don’t listen to Bible preachers; listen to my prophets. Honor my Sabbath. It’s okay. YOU SHALL NOT SURELY DIE” (Gen. 3:4), which is the first lie spoken to and believed by a human being. Ironically, it is still being spoken and believed today. L.J.
