The modern Word-rejecter does not need to hear or read God’s message–His Holy Bible–in that he has his own sect-grown and sect-taught prophets to tell him what he wants to hear (Jn. 10:10-13). Having itching ears, he will listen only to smooth things, lies and deceits which confirm the beliefs that have been handed down for generations from Satan-deceived church leaders and parishioners (Rev. 12:9). To insure that God’s Truth does not accidentally slip through, churchman indoctrinates his prophets in his doctrines and customs, then pays them to speak only those sect-determined “truths” which God calls “fables, wind and doctrine” (2 Tim. 4:3,4/Eph. 4:14). Isaiah called such false prophets “seeds (spiritual descendants) of evil doers” (1:4). A seed produces the type of fruit from which it came. Each generation of seed disseminaters reproduces the smooth things, lies, deceits, fables, wind and doctrine they have been taught. Their words fall on the itching, receptive ears of those who “love to have it so” (Jer. 5:31). As did the Nazi leaders on trial for war crimes following World War II, false prophets declare themselves innocent in that they are simply “following orders” from those from whom they learned their perverted gospel (Gal. 1:6-9). Those who follow them use the same excuse–they believe what “God’s messengers” tell them. But God did not send them, their leaders are self-called or mamma-called or grandpa-called to the ministry in one of the sects comprising Satan’s church system. These people are man-called, not God-called. GOD’S MESSENGERS DO NOT TEACH PEOPLE TO REJECT HIS WORD–SATAN’S MESSENGERS DO. So who is to blame for the deadly fiasco that passes for Christianity today? Both leaders and followers have access to God’s Truth; both reject it, both will be judged by it; both will stand condemned before it (Jn. 12:48). Both are guilty. But all is well, we are told–EVERYBODY IS SAVED. And Satan smiles.
Jesus warned us about false prophets who would take up the mantle of their spiritual ancestors. He warned that they would come in His name declaring that He is the Messiah, then, having deceived their listeners into believing that they have been sent by God, would lead them to Satan. These false prophets serve as his proxies who pose as “ministers of righteousness.” In reality they are bearers of false light who serve the “angel of light” (2 cor. 11:13-15). Jesus warned that these men would seduce the entire world, including those of God’s church who do not diligently seek and serve Him–the “very elect” who fail to detect the wolves (false prophets) beneath their sheepskins (perverted gospel) (Mat. 7:15;24:24). Jesus and the apostles continuously warned against false prophets who would preach the doctrines and traditions of men in lieu of God’s Word (Mat. 15:9/Col. 2:6,8). They are the blind who lead the blind into the ditch (Lake of Fire), who corrupt the Word of god (2 Cor. 2:17), who exalt man’s word over God’s Word (2 Cor. 10:5), who contend against God so as to bring reproach on those who preach His Word as truth (Phil. 1:15,16), who present “great darkness” (church doctrine) as light (God’s Truth) (Mat. 6:23).
One need only visit one of churchman’s citadels in person or on t.v.; one need only read his books, watch his movies, listen to his c.d’s or watch his d.v.d’s to realize that the warnings of the prophets and apostles, even Christ Himself, have fallen on deaf ears. Of all the sources of truth explored by religious man in search of truth, the Bible is the least considered. And should someone dare to voice or write God’s Truth, the outcast receives the same response from uber religionists as did the prophets, Jesus and the apostles. Church people demand to hear “another gospel” about “another Jesus” (2 Cor. 11:4). Their trained and paid prophets are eager to accommodate them. Both parties get what they want–the listeners get the confirmation they seek and the speakers get paid. Read what God says about the church’s hirelings in John 10:11-14: “I (Jesus) am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling (false prophet) … sees the wolf (Satan’s hireling) coming (with a false message) and flees (refuses to war against him) because he cares not for the sheep.” The wolf then scatters (lures) the sheep into the various and sundry cults, sects, denominations, non-denominations, etc. of Catholicism and Protestantism. See Bait and Switch and All That Glitters.
Today hundreds of millions of Satan-serving sheep gather on his sabbath to do battle with God. Scripture reveals that one day the war will end and these sheep will find to their horror that God was right. They will also realize that Jeremiah was right when he said concerning the last day: “Then the Gentiles will come to You (God) and say, ‘Surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthless and unprofitable things'”–church doctrine (16;19). The Scriptures, not man’s lies, deceits, smooth soundbytes and religious mantras, “makes one wise unto salvation” (2 Tim. 3:15). False prophets, on orders from their handlers who “love to have it so,” preach “another gospel” and “another Jesus” which both speaker and hearer tout as “the truth.” Joshua’s command to true God-seekers still applies: “Choose you this day whom (whose truth) you will serve (believe and obey). But as for me …, I will serve the Lord.” L.J.
