Over the past few years we have been hearing about a so-called “Zombie Apocalypse.” Though historically this apex of weirdness has been correctly relegated to the fairy tale category, However, the entertainment industry does not hold the patent on zombiness. God’s true saints have known for many generations that a type of Z.A. had existed within the church community since the time of the prophets. So what is a zombie and what is an apocalypse?

Webster’s Dictionary defines a zombie as a dead body which has been reanimated by a spiritual power. In popular slang, a zombie is a person who looks weird or behaves eccentrically and mechanically so as to represent the opposite of normal human normality. Zombies are always depicted as beings to be avoided if at all possible. They appear to be unable to stop themselves from doing bad things to normal people. These are people whose primary trait is that they act, think and speak differently from what normal societies expect of human beings within them. This raises the question: DOES THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAVE A PLACE IN THE CHURCH? As the Almighty has made clear in His Holy Bible, the answer is “YES.” However, the movement reveals itself in a way that is opposite to what is seen on movie and television screens. There, unacceptable behavior is manifested outwardly and publicly for all to observewhile inwardly, in the spiritual realm, all is (supposedly) normal. Zombieism supposedly is something that happens TO them, not what they are enately.

The word Apocalypse in the Biblical sense refers to a spiritual revealing or disclosure of something that has not been known previously. The Book of Revelation is often called The Apocalypse because it reveals what has been locked away under seven seals since God gave the Prophet Daniel a revelation concerning the final days of the world. When Daniel told the Lord he did not understand what He had revealed to him, he was told that it was not for him to understand, that he was to seal up the visions and the words until the latter days when God’s true prophets would understand it and make it known to His (God’s) people. That day has arrived. With that background in place, let us return to the phenomenon that I view as the end-time Zombie Apocalypse–the revealing of an outward manifestation of spiritual rightness than hides a spiritual sinfulness that is accepted by the church as the will of God.

In the social (human) sense apocalypse means the same as in the Biblical sense, only without a Biblical context. In the Biblical sense, Z.A. means that people outwardly project a life that is the exact opposite of their inward condition. In the commercial world this is known as “false advertising.” Globally, two and a half billion professing Christians are socially manifesting spiritual lives that are the exact opposite of their internal spiritual condition. Their outward social lives express a closeness to God that is the opposite of what He tells us in His Word separates Him from Him. How did this happen?

A general explanation is provided by Jesus in Revelation 12:9 where He states that “Satan has deceived the whole world.” His main deception involves the church world which lives in a state of internal spiritual death. Those of that world reject God’s Word on the subject. That is true Satanic deception. As the saying goes, “Those who are deceived don’t know they are deceived.–they don’t know that they are being cursed by the very God they believe has saved them and is preparing a mansion for them in heaven. Being ignorant of God’s Truth, they have no doubt that they are walking in agreement with the Lord (Amos 3:3) both inwardly and outwardly. The Lord describes them as “clouds without water,” as waves of the sea that are constantly in motion but never go anywhere. In Texas we say that they are “all hat and no cattle.” Sadly, the church’s outward physical expressions are the exact opposite of their inward spiritual condition, which is the exact opposite of God’s will. Due to a lack of Biblical knowledge, church zombies believe that their personal and public lives reflect Biblical reality. This ministry was designed by the Lord to tell them His Truth about the matter which contradicts their “facts.” Needless to say, this news is summarily rejected 99.99% of the time. This in spite of the fact that I provide Biblical references for everything I say or write. Like Adam and Eve, the church prefers Satan’s version of the truth which is commonly known as “church doctrine.”.

The god of this world (Satan) has deceived the church masses into believing his message just as he did in the Garden of Eden when he told Eve that she and Adam could defy God and “You shall NOT surely die” as He had warned would happen. God had told them that on the day they sinned they would DIE (SPIRITUALLY). Unlike their spiritual descendants, upon partaking of the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve immediately realized that they had died spiritually. Later, when He entered the garden, they tried to hide from Him. Having been deceived by that same devil, their spiritual descendants believe that they can defy God and suffer no consequences. Unlike Adam and Eve, they do not realize that they are spiritually dead. Never having been with God, they believe that how they are is as good as it gets here on earth. They do not know that their sins have separated them from their Creator (Isa. 59:2).

Could what the average churchite believes to be the stuff of fantasy actually be his/her spiritual reality? Could he/she be exhibiting “normal” Christian life as defined by the church while harboring spiritual death internally as defined by the Lord? The answer is a resounding “YES.” The basic problem is that church people do not accept God’s definition of sin, which is THE TRANSGRESSION (BREAKING) OF THE LAW, which their false prophets have convinced them was “nailed to the cross.” Read The Message of the Cross. Over the past several weeks the Lord has been bringing to my mind the word “WHY?” He let me know early on that the word (“why”) involved the deadly condition that the people of the world have been wallowing in for most of mankind’s existence. He was referring to the fact that man has, from the Garden of Eden onward, been living in a world filled with such things as war, famine, crime, hate, drought, flooding, extreme cold, extreme hot, disease, epidemics, storms, tornados, hurricanes, hail, mental illness, accidents, etc. The subject He was directing me to focus on involved the question: WHY DOES MANKIND LIVE FAR BENEATH HIS MEANS? Do the conditions in which mankind has lived since shortly after his creation reflect the will of God for the beings He created in His mental image and physical likeness (Gen. 1:26 and 28)? Read those verses carefully to understand the lifestyle (Biblical “walk”) God planned for all of Adam’s descendants.

A quick look at the creation of man tells us that man does not live the life God intended, created and provided for him. The Genesis reference shows that mankind was supposed to live the good life. Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 tell us in no uncertain terms that man was created to have the best of everything–peace, prosperity, joy, etc. So why do human beings live in conditions that are the exact opposite of those in which they were designed to live? The Holy Scriptures tell us. We will briefly examine Genesis 1:26 and 28, Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 where God, through the Prophet Moses, tells us in plain language what the Creator had in store for His most prized creation.

Following His proclamation of the creation of man, God said that man (Heb.–Adam) would be given dominion (control) over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, the earth and everything that moved upon it. Moses, operating under the direction of the Lord (the Word Who became Jesus Christ), told the children of Israel what they must do in order to live the good life they were created to live. Read the first 13 verses of Leviticus 26, then the first 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28 to learn what those who embrace the Godhead were promised IF THEY WERE OBEDIENT. Then read the remainder of those chapters to learn what they would receive if they were not obedient. Nothing has changed. A study of the history of the Israelite nation will reveal that God’s chosen people failed to follow His divine instructions and, as a consequence, found themselves living much the same way we see their spiritual descendants (the church and the nations that harbor her) living today. In all references pertaining to God’s blessings and curses relative to mankind’s obedience or disobedience to the Holy Scriptures, bear in mind that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). He commands of one exactly what He commands of all others and rewards or punishes one exactly as he rewards or punishes all others for exactly the same reasons. What He told the Israelites is the same as He tells us today. He is the Lord, He does not change. Accordingly, the chaos we see in the world today has the same causative factors that were found among the ancient Israelites. And as the Holy Scriptures make clear, the outcome for modern man will be the same as for the ancient Israel.

You may be asking what does all of the above have to do with the Zombie Apocalypse? The answer is “Everything.” What we see in mankind outwardly does not always indicate what is going on inwardly in his mind (Biblical heart). Also, man does not always realize the cause of his thoughts, words and deeds. This ministry was designed to inform the world’s church people what is going on inside them that causes them and the rest of the world to live amidst a steady flow of what Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:3-8, Leviticus 26:14-39 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68. With a minutely small exception, mankind has been and continues to be cursed by God. There is no curse without a cause (Prov. 26:2). World upheaval is the curse, so what is the cause? God tells us time and again that the cause of every negative aspect of our lives is the same–SIN. Could churchman be, in the eyes of God, behaving in a zombistic way relative to his internal spiritual condition? Stated another way, does churchman behave weirdly when compared to what is written in the Bible? which he claims to believe? DOES THE LORD VIEW WITH ANGER THE RELIGIOUS WORDS, THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS OF THOSE WHO CALL THEMSELVES BY HIS NAME WHILE REFUSING TO OBEY HIS TEN COMMANDMENT LAW, SPECIFICALLY COMMANDMENT #4? DOES GOD SEE THE CHURCH AS A SPIRITUAL ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE? The resounding answer from on high, as recorded in the Bible, is a universe-shaking “YES.”

And what is the seminal cause of this zombie behavior on the part of church people? SIN, WHICH GOD DEFINES AS THE BREAKING OF HIS LAW (1 JN. 3:4). In the eyes of God, the vast majority of those who call themselves Christians, own Bibles, attend church, etc. are living in a state of ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE because they refuse to obey Him. Those of the Catholic/Protestant Religious system (the church) conduct their lives in a state of personal weirdness in that they are in direct conflict with the commands of the One they claim is their Savior. Like the zombies seen on movie and television screens, spiritual zombies believe that the outward lives they live are normal for church people, and that those who live according to God’s Law are the crazy ones whom they despise, reject and, in many cases, hate.

Jesus warned about the world’s reaction to those who obeyed Him. In Matthew 10 He warns that anyone who obeys Him will be hated by the world for the same reason He was hated–His obedience to God’s Law. He warned that even our own families would reject us on the spiritual level. The Apostle Paul warns us that “All who will live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Tim. 3:12). Why? Because of their “zombie-like” (obedient) behavior. The super religious people who lived during the days of Christ and the apostles accused Jesus and His followers of being the weird ones. Both groups had God’s Law. Jesus and the newly-founded church exhibited outwardly what was written in the Law and were rejected for doing so. In the eyes of the “knowers but not doers” of that Law, the Lord promises curses.

Nothing has changed over the years.. The few church people who live according to the Holy Scriptures today are rejected by the other 99% because of their weird lifestyles. Their most critical opponents are the pillars of the churches whose members despise them (the weird, Bible-believing, Bible-obeying minority) to the same degree that they despise the Bible they obey. Ironically, these are the same Bibles the haters bring to their sun-worshiping services every sun god day–Sunday. To the Godhead, the zombies of the world are those who are the most religious among the world’s population. Smiling, Bible-toting, Scripture-quoting, cross-wearing churchites are the true spiritual zombies who live outwardly (socially) the exact opposite of their inward (spiritual) condition. They and their non-church spiritual brethren are the reason the world is in the horrific condition in which it finds itself. THUS SAYS THE LORD.

I am not alone in my beliefs. Such Biblical luminaries as Moses and Jesus state in print that we are in agreement. The lives led by anti-God, anti-Bible spiritual zombies manifest the answer to the ultimate question: WHY is the world losing its collective mind? The answer, which has not changed since the Garden of Eden, is SIN–THE BREAKING OF GOD’S LAW. In summary, it is the world’s religions, specifically professing Christendom, that constitute the modern-day Zombie Apocalypse. They claim to be acting, speaking and thinking as the Biblical God commands of them, all the while doing, speaking and thinking the exact opposite of His expressed will. If you are part of the church’s Z.A. majority, do what Paul tells you to do in Second Corinthians 6:14-7:1. Let us make our inward condition and our outward condition one and the same. Let us put God’s Word in our hearts (minds) and live outwardly what we live inwardly. Let us not be zombies.

The spiritual Truth concerning the critical condition the world finds itself in is that man has forced God to curse him exactly as He warned in the Holy Scriptures that He would do to disobedient mankind. What man sows, man reaps. Man has sown the spiritual wind (sin). He is about to reap the whirlwind (the Tribulation period) as God is about to pour out His wrath on the world never before. He warns in Matthew 24 that what is coming will be worse than all of the curses He previous curses COMBINED. There will be no so-called “rapture” to save the so-called “saved” from the wrath to come.
