(A) Why is the tiny nation misnamed “Israel” so intensely hated by the majority of people according to international polls? (B) Why is the United States of America equally hated, if not moreso, according to those same polls? The answer to (A) has two parts: 1) The world’s masses hate the Jews because they believe the Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, which is true. However, it was the Romans who actually put Him to death, which they did by choice. Pilate had the option of killing Him or letting Him live. Because he chose to kill Him the Romans and the Jews share the guilt for Christ’s death. 2) Many non-Christians and some professing Christians hate Israel (the Jews) because they believe they inhabit an area (Palestine) that rightly belongs to the Arabs, which it does not. The answer to (B) has three parts: 1) The World hates the United States because she supports the Jews’ right to occupy the land called Palestine (named after the Philistines who inhabited the Gaza Strip anciently) and 2) because the largest contingent of Jews, which number approximately 15 million globally, lives in New York City. The third reason for the world’s hatred for both the Jews and the Americans is the belief that the Jews, with the backing of the U.S. Government, control the world’s financial system which is headquartered in New York City.

The world, following its god–Satan–has come up with several reasons to hate the Jews–the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. “Jews” is the nickname given to the three southern tribes of Israel by the King James translators. Their Hebrew name is “Judahites.” Why does the world hate the Judahites? The answer is known by those who study God’s Word along with secular history which takes up where the Bible ends. Let us approach God’s Truth–His Word (Jn. 17:17)–according to His study command found in 2 Timothy 2:15 which will enable us to be “approved of God.” Let us “prove all things” relative to His Word and will by obeying His command found in 1 Thessalonians 5:21. By doing this we will understand why the so-called “Jews” are hated by the Bible-ignorant church which is as guilty of Christ’s death any Jew or Roman. God warns us that “There is a way that seems right to a man, but that way leads to death” (Prov. 14:12).

Recall the episode in the Book of Genesis where man first rebelled against God and how He reacted to that rebellion. It is there that we see the Lord’s “Cause and Effect Law” coming into play for the second time. The first time involved Lucifer and his angels’ rebellion against God. In Eden, His reaction (the effect) came immediately after man’s sin (the cause) and was harsh and to the point. Recall that later God drowned everything on earth due to man’s sins. Only Noah, his family and some creatures were spared God’s wrath. The difference between Noah and those around him is obvious. Noah was called a “preacher of righteousness” (2 Pet. 2:5) while those to whom he preached had their minds “on evil continually” (Gen. 6:5). This lays the groundwork for understanding God’s treatment of His “Chosen People”–the 12 tribes of Israel, specifically the “Jews.” In the series titled Who and Where is Israel Today?
