The number one reason Satan harbors extreme hatred for God’s true saints is because he can’t hide God’s Truth from them. This explains why false Christians “know” that many of their beliefs and practices are “right” even though God condemns them in His Holy Bible. A quick look at the Introduction to this website will reveal a number of counterfeit “truths” with which the devil has substituted for God’s Truths. Due to near total ignorance of God’s Truth, the Counterfeit (Catholic/Protestant) Church has been embracing those heathenistic lies for almost 2000 years. The Lord’s enemy and his legions of helpers have convinced billions of God seekers that his darkness is actually God’s light. For this reason, God calls it “great darkness” (Mat. 6:23) which men choose over His light (Jn. 3:19). This includes church men who, when shown the light of the Lord, reject it in favor of Satan’s darkness.
As they did to the Lord’s Old Testament “church in the wilderness” (Acts 7:38), the “powers of the air” continue to sell their “smooth things, lies and deceits” (Isa. 30:10) to the modern day church which claims repeatedly and loudly that their “truths” came straight from the mouth of Jesus Christ. Like Abel of first family fame and Noah of Great Flood fame, only a few people believe God’s Biblical Truth today. This in spite of Jesus saying that God’s Word is His Truth (Jn. 17:17). Knowing God’s Truth enables the Very Elect to quickly identify Christendom’s numerous false doctrines.
Because they know the Truth and believe it, true believers know they have power over all of Satan’s power and the power of those whom he uses to attack them. Satan has a variety of servants–humans, angels, creatures, nature, disease, situations, circumstances, etc.–which he uses to attack God’s church. In Luke 10:19 Jesus tells us that He has given us power “… over all the power of the enemy” and his “serpents”–servants.
The reason for the false church’s inability to believe God’s Truth is brought out in 2 Corinthians 4:4 where we are told that the god of this earth has blinded the spiritual eyes of most of those who call themselves God’s children. This mass deception is made possible by religious man’s practice of accepting what comes from the pulpit at face value. This in spite of God’s command to “test the spirits” of their leaders (1 Jn. 4:1) to see if they are of God, and to “prove all things” of a spiritual nature (1 Thes. 5:21). Because church people assume that “… thus saith the Lord” means that what they are hearing is coming from God, they have made themselves easy pickings for Satan. A Biblical testing of these “truths” coming from church leaders will reveal that rarely is anything coming from the pulpit confirmed by the Scriptures. Truly, “Satan has deceived the whole world” (Rev. 12:9). L.J.
