I have known for years that America’s defeat and destruction, followed by the enslavement of the few who survive would take place in the near future. The current church system is the Laodicean era God spoke about in Revelation 3:14-22. “Why” God will destroy the United States and the Institutional Church has never been in question for those who know and believe God’s Word. With each passing day over the past century or so we have seen the nation sink ever lower into the abyss as the church’s apostasy (falling away), followed by the American society, has become ever more evident. Yet another example of her spiritual decadence came to light recently when a representative sampling of self-professed evangelicals revealed that 64% of those polled believe that GOD ACCEPTS THE WORSHIP OF ALL RELIGIONS. In other words, the worship of all religions is in reality worship of the Biblical God–WE ALL WORSHIP THE SAME GOD. It was also noted 67% of Americans believe that EVERYONE WILL GO TO HEAVEN. Both of these beliefs are refuted by the Word of God, the rejection of which proves that the U.S. is wallowing in spiritual decadence. However, there is more proof of professing Christendom’s   rejection of God’s Word as the standard from which all spiritual proof comes.

Recently a popular nearby church explained why they were accepting sexual deviants into the “body of Christ.” A church spokesman noted that the church would not only accept homosexuals, lesbians, etc., but that she would also be performing gay marriages and accepting sexual deviants into positions of church leadership. The explanation for why the church was taking such a stand in spite of God’s condemnation of sexual deviance was refreshing in that it was honest–a rare commodity within professing Christendom. In the spirit of transparency, the spokesman declared that the church was “stepping aside” from the Biblical standard in regard to God’s plainly stated condemnation of sexual deviancy. I waited for the spokesman to reveal why the anti-deviance group is wrong. Surprisingly, he did not refute the Lord’s Words relative to such evil. But neither did he say that the Lord was right. He simply noted that the church had rejected God’s Words and was looking elsewhere for real truth. It comes as no surprise that her parishioners found it in their own minds. Their spiritual parents– Adam and Eve–immediately came to mind. Just as did their parents, members of that church have claimed for themselves both the right and the power to determine good and evil. This is a classic example of IDOLATRY. Though their  honesty is refreshing, it will not prevent the wrath of God from destroying them on the Day of Judgment when they will hear Jesus say: “I never knew you; depart from Me ye who work iniquity” (Mat. 7:23). And why will He reject these counterfeit Christians? He tells us in Matthew 15:7-9: “You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of (foretell about) you, saying, ‘This people draws near to Me with their mouth and honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship Me, TEACHING FOR (MY) DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.'” Note it: This church WORSHIPS JESUS CHRIST. However, her worship is in vain because she REJECTS HIS TRUTH AND EMBRACES HER OWN TRUTH, which is in fact Satan’s truth. Man receives his Truth from one of two sources: God or Satan. This body of truth-determiners has chosen the latter. Of late there has been much tongue clicking and finger pointing going on within the church community concerning this church’s stand. But in the near future all Catholic and Protestant Churches will follow her lead and for the same reason–rebellion against God due to Religious Correctness which only the “few” will be able to resist (Mat. 7:13,14). To be continued.
