Covid-19, chaos, anarchy, destruction and death in the streets, sex scandals, child trafficing, invasion from the south,  skyrocketing unemployment, the government printing money, food deserts due to burned out businesses, a 20-year war, political infighting, children and women running the government, hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, drought, famine, earthquakes ….  What do all of these things have in common?  THEY ARE CURSES WHICH GOD PROPHECIED THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO WOULD COME UPON THOSE WHO DID NOT OBEY HIM.  And, if we can take Him at His Word, much, much worse is yet to come.  What we are experiencing is merely “the beginnings of sorrows” Jesus warned us about in Matthew 24.  What is just over the horizon and headed our way on very fast horses are three of “the four horsemen of the apocalypse” He warned about in Revelation 6.  The fact that as goes the church, so goes the United States explains the reason for the repeated attacks of the three horsemen of the apocalypse upon this nation that is supposedly “Under God,” the same God in Whom she claims to “Trust.”  The specific reason for God’s repeated curses on this self-designated “Christian nation” is the church’s total embrace of and full-throated exaltation of the rider on the white horse–false religion–which goes by the name of Catholicism/Protestantism.  Jesus warned mankind about the rider of the white horse in Matthew 24:4: “Take heed that no man deceive you.”  Satan has used men to deceive God seekers since the Garden of Eden.  Billions of church people attest to his success while singing his praises and luring other people into his trap called “the church.”

One need only read Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28 and Matthew 24:3-8 to understand why the world’s number one “Christian nation” is under constant attack by enemies foreign and domestic.  Her foreign enemies are those beyond her borders who want to destroy us through politics.  Our domestic enemies are those within our borders who want to destroy her through religion.  God is opening the seals of His prophetic utterings so that His people will understand what has happened in the past, what is now happening and what is prophesied to happen in the future.  Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Matthew tell us that our nation is under God’s continuous curse due to individual and national sin.  Sin is defined by God as the breaking of His Law: “To transgress the Law is sin, for sin is the transgression of the Law” (1 Jn. 3:4).  This is the Law the church accuses the Law Maker of nailing to the cross Who said that He did not come to destroy the Law, the same Law the church says He destroyed.

As I watch the news twice each day I hear one common theme: “What we need to do is ….”  Without exception the solution to the current problem(s) involves some physical act on the part of the citizenry.  We are told to wear a mask, or remain at least six feet apart, or cough into our elbow, or wash our hands, or apply sterilizing ointment to them, or refrain from touching our faces, or a counter, or anything anyone else has touched, or get tested or ….”  The next to best solution is to do all of the above.  Apparently the absolute best solution is to crawl into a closet, zip ourselves into a sleeping bag and stay there until someone announces that the coast is clear, at which point we can begin preparation for the next onslaught from above.  Apparently, the Lord’s preventive solution found in His Rules of Engagement is not suitable for consideration.  As is always the case when God pours out His wrath on sinning man, we hear from the religious among us that man’s version of the Bible, known as “church doctrine,” is THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.  Am I the only one who has noticed that man’s solution never works? that the churched and the unchurched are cursed in exactly the same way, that the outcomes of the curse are exactly the same, that they suffer, die, etc. at exactly the same rate?  Could it be that the Sender of the curse places them in the exact same group?  His Biblical answer is YES.  Why?  Because they have all hitched a ride on the white horse which Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:4 and described in Revelation 6:2.  That horse is FALSE RELIGION, the largest contingent of which goes by the name of “Christianity.”

None of man’s “solutions” will ultimately solve the curse problems.  As I have noted at various times, both the CAUSE for the curses God pours out and the CURE that He provides do not involve the physical aspects of mankind, but rather the SPIRITUAL.  Man’s problems, whether physical, mental, financial, political, environmental, etc. always have the same cause, which is sin–the breaking of God’s Law.  His Law is called His Holy Bible which He condensed into the Ten Commandments, wrote in stone with instructions that not one jot or tittle of it could be changed.  The problem is that man has not merely changed God’s stone-etched Law, he has done away with it altogether.  Having done away with God’s Law, man freed himself to make his own rules by which to live his version of the Christian life.  Man’s having lived that Lawless life has caused the Law-Maker to curse him repeatedly.  But to no avail.  God-rejecting man simply absorbs the blows and stays the religious course.  Anyone who doubts Satan’s control of the world’s religions does not know God’s Word.

The ONLY SOLUTION to the myriad of curses mankind is under is a complete reversal of life from service to Satan to service to God.  This is not going to happen on a group basis.  I no longer ask God to bless America for I know that my words will fall on unhearing ears.  God turned His back on the United States several generations ago.  His call to repentance which He sent in the form of wars, diseases, “acts of nature,” etc. have been rejected.  Though man has continued to exhibit his spiritual blindness the calls continued as God pleaded with him to abandon the devil and embrace His Biblical way.  Over the years this once blessed nation has sown her sinful winds non-stop.  She is beginning to reap the whirlwind.  There is no national or familial or church level of protection from what is now on us with more and worse on the way.  As has always been the case, divine protection in the midst of such curses is personal.  Man’s only hope can be found in his total surrender to God.  Such a surrender must be proved.  The Lord recognizes only one form of proof–TOTAL BELIEF IN AND OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD.  Without such proof all of the church-centered religiosity one can demonstrate combined with all of the church-defined faith one can muster will have no effect.  Only true holiness as defined in God’s Word will result in salvation at the return of Jesus Christ.  Holiness can be achieved only one way–TOTAL BELIEF IN AND OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD.  “What we need to do is BELIEVE AND OBEY GOD’S WORD,” which will not happen except on an extremely limited basis (Mat. 7:13,14).  Why?  Because, as we are told from pulpit and podium, from television and radio, from the man on the street and the witness on the job, “Obedience is impossible” due to Adam’s sin-transferal miracle.  But all is well.  Jesus, we are assured, died so that we could sin and get away with it.  All one needs to do is believe in Him and go to church.  And Satan smiles.  L.J.
