THE Truth, we are told by Jesus of Nazareth, will make us free and keep us free from all error. Such error, if believed and obeyed, leads to sin, which separates us from God, which sends us to eternal death. Therefore, we must know THE Truth, believe IT and obey IT in order to receive salvation at the return of Jesus Christ. God established my website and YouTube site for one purpose–to tell those with ears to hear and eyes to see THE (His) Truth, without which one cannot be saved. The primary target of this ministry is the Institutional Church whose parishioners have lured into Satan’s two-headed religious monster by which he devours men’s souls–Catholicism/Protestantism. “The church,” along with her sister religions found around the globe, are his repository of those he has deceived, which includes the entirety of mankind. Only a “few” have escaped the devil’s clutches (Mat. 7:13,14).
The reason the world needs to know the truth about THE (one and only spiritual) Truth is that there are literally hundreds of Satan-inspired counterfeit “truths” (church doctrines) being put forth as “Thus saith the Lord.” Over the past 6000 years billions of people have believed those “truths” because Biblically ignorant salvation seekers have been deceived into believing that Satan’s false prophets are in fact messengers sent to them by God to tell them His truth. Universal ignorance of God’s Word has allowed Satan–the “angel of light”–to convince the church masses to embrace the heathen doctrines put forth by his “ministers of righteousness” (2 Cor. 11:14), also known as ‘false prophets.” Ministers of righteousness include those who officially do his work. This group includes pastors, evangelists, missionaries and Sunday School teachers. Others, such as street preachers, tract dispensers, parishioners, mothers, fathers, grandparents, etc. are all part of Satan’s false salvation army. These unwitting souls are God’s enemies who believe they are His friends. See Spiritual Terrorism: The Church at War with Itself.
In the beginning the One Who became Jesus of Nazareth was called “the Word,” meaning the Spokesman of the God family comprised of Himself and the One known as God. Though the two Gods were equal, the Word voluntarily assumed the secondary position (Phil. 2:6). God spoke, then the Word employed their power (the Holy Spirit) to do what God said. Using the Holy Spirit as His channel of communication, the Word–the God of the Old Testament–spoke to His prophets who spoke what they had heard from on high. Their scribes (recorders) then recorded what they had said. As was shown in previous postings in this series, this is the method by which both the Old Testament came into being. Later the Word came to earth as Jesus of Nazareth where He spoke directly to His disciples who then repeated what He told them and recorded what they had heard from Him. What we must understand is that the Holy Bible is neither the mental nor the physical work of men. It is comprised of the Words God spoke to the Word Who spoke them to “holy men of old” who spoke them and had them recorded for “OUR admonition (instruction) upon whom the ends of the world have come”–the end-time Church of God which came into being on the Day of Pentecost 31 A.D.
Jesus of Nazareth told His disciples that, as long as He was in the world, He was the “light of the world” (Jn. 8:12). He then said to His disciples: “You are the light of the world” (Mat. 5:14). What was it that both Jesus and the disciples possessed that made Jesus and His disciples the same “light of the world?” The answer is found in the Apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy the evangelist in 2 Timothy 3:15,16 where he told him that ALL SCRIPTURE (Old and New Testaments) was inspired (Spirit spoken) by God and essential for teaching, reproof, correction and for training in righteousness that COULD lead one to SALVATION. He makes this clear in verse 15 where he says that the Holy Scriptures were ABLE to make Timothy WISE UNTO SALVATION.” Notice the words “make” and “unto.” Paul was telling the evangelist, and us, that he (Timothy) was not yet saved (neither was Paul). But if he believed and obeyed God’s Word until the end he would receive salvation at Christ’s return. Again, the key Word is “If.” “IF” Timothy continued to believe and obey the Scriptures until the end (Mat. 10:22) he would then be saved/born again.
So what is the source of Spiritual Truth? The answer shouts from the pages of the Bible. The Holy Scriptures, which Jesus called “Truth,” are the light which, if believed and obeyed, will result in “HOLINESS, the END of which is ETERNAL LIFE” (Rom. 6:22).
Bible Truth is every word recorded by God spoke to the Word/Jesus, Who spoke them to His prophets and apostles. These Words originally came from the mouth of Almighty God. Man must “live by” (believe and obey) every one of those Words. The Word from Genesis to Revelation must be “lived by” and “walked” in order to receive eternal life (Mat. 4:4). Those Words came originally from the mouth of God Himself. Those Words ARE His Truth. Let us believe and obey them unto eternal life. L.J.
