After reading what God said about His Word, how can any church member believe that he can improve on it? Incredibly, billions have done so and billions more continue to do so. Ironically, each “Bible scholar/editor “knows” that his/her version is an improvement of God’s Standard, that God approves of his/her changes and has commissioned him/her to tell others about his new and improved version of the “good news.” After gathering around him/her a following of like-minded religionists, the group attaches God’s name to their cult, calls it a church and sets out to win the world for their organization. Don’t believe it? Ask any churchite if he/she is a Christian and you will be told what denomination (cult) he/she belongs to. With most Christians either owning or having access to a Bible, which Jesus called the Truth, how is the above anti-god heresy possible? As is the case with so many religious errors that have become “Bible Truth,” the answer takes us back to the Garden of Eden where, in short order, Satan convinced Adam and Eve that God didn’t mean what He said about the forbidden tree and the supposed punishment for eating its fruit. The Institutional Church, which does exactly the same thing relative to God’s Word/Truth (Jn. 17:17). I have shown church people God’s Word as it is written, only to have them admit that the Bible is God’s Word by which we must live, then reject everything I have shown them in favor of the teaching of their denomination which contradicts God’s Word.

What such “Christians” do not realize is that only God can determine spiritual Truth. To edit any written statement is to change that statement. To edit God’s Word in any way, even so much as a jot or tittle, is to make oneself a creator of new spiritual Truth. When one does so he/she has made him/herself a god. This breaks the first commandment in the Law; which is idolatry. How can a pillar of “the church” hold a Bible in his hand, agree that it is God’s Word, then reject it in favor of something man has concocted. How can a church person be so totally reject God? Revelation 12:9 tells us: “Satan has deceived the whole world,” including the self-proclaimed Christian world. In His eyes professing Christianity is no different than any of the other religions in the world. All reject His Word as spoken and written by His prophets and apostles. Jesus tells us that SUCH PEOPLE DESPISE GOD, JESUS, THEIR MINISTERS AND THEIR WORD (Lk. 10:16).

How has the devil been able to deceive the so-called Christian World so completely? How has he been able to convince billions of salvation seekers that God’s Word can be changed to conform to their wishful thinking and that He will accept their superior insights? How can so many be so deceived for so long? The answer takes us back to our childhood and the absolute trust children have in their parents. A child believes whatever his parents tell him. To a child, whatever the parents say is fact. Most church people were introduced to religion by their parents, who had been introduced by their parents, who were introduced by their parents. etc. Parents tell their children that their church is THE church, and that what THE church teaches is THE truth. Due to childhood trust, the child “knows” that what has been heard is the truth, even if it is the exact opposite of Bible Truth. The process by which children come to “know” that their parents’ religion as THE ONLY way to heaven has functioned for thousands of years over many generations. I call it the Institutional Church’s “generational curse.” With each generation the “truths” they have been indoctrinated with become more solidly engrained in the mind. This religious brain-washing is so powerful that, many years of church attendance later one hears them explain why they believe the opposite of God’s Word using such rationales as: “That is what I was always taught,” and “That is what my denomination teaches,” and “Millions of people could not have been wrong over thousands of years.” I have heard many excuses for rejecting God’s Word, but my all-time favorite was spoken by a Baptist pastor when reminded what God said about the homosexual issue. He announced that his church had solved the problem presented by the Lord’s Word. They were “… stepping outside the Bible” to determine right and wrong. Second on my favorite excuse for despising God and Christ was voiced by a homosexual priest who, when confronted by God’s Truth, stated that: “God has changed.” If the truth can be told, the entirety of Christendom has stepped outside the Bible and accused God of changing. In all of the world’s religions, so-called Christianity is by far the most user-friendly. Adam and Eve initiated the “I know this is wrong but God won’t punish me for doing it” theology. Their religious descendants have followed in their religious footsteps religiously. They “know” that they can sin and get away with it because, as a pastor once said, God can’t see our sins through Christ’s blood. For this reason church people can (must) sin with impunity. They “know” Satan was right–they “… shall not surely die.”

A churchite once told me that people have the right to interpret the Bible any way they see fit. This fellow should be put forth as the church’s poster child. Because of such thinking, speaking and acting the Christian religion has affected a true evolution. Man has seen an attitudinal change relative the Holy Bible’s place in church life from “Thus saith the Lord” to “The way I see it ….” In other words, the standard for truth and error, which was once the Scriptures, has become whatever the individual wants it to be. There is an age-old saying that “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,” which is true. However, what works in man’s world does not work in God’s world. In God’s world, spiritual Truth is not determined by an individual, a group, a church or the entire church world. Jesus of Nazareth made that abundantly clear when He defined Truth as God’s Word. God’s people agree with Him. Spiritual evolutionists do not.

In our highly politicized society we continuously read and hear about official publications that, upon being made public, have been highly “redacted,” meaning that all material relative to national security has been blackened out. The church has done the same thing to God’s Word. Biblical statements that parishioners have deemed to be dangerous to their salvation security have been spiritually redacted. Though the redacted statements remain in the written tome, they are summarily dismissed for being dangerous to one’s future. As a result of spiritual redaction, the Holy Bible has been altered to the point that if all of the offensive and dangerous passages could be removed it would resemble a child’s early reader in terms of size and content. Jesus warned in Matthew 7:13,14 that the vast majority of salvation seekers would reject His strait (hard to enter) gate and narrow (one Truth only) way which leads to salvation. The majority, He warned, would enter Satan’s wide (come as you are) gate and broad (stay as you are) way which leads to death. The strait and narrow people comprise God’s tiny church.
