In Eden God gave Adam and Eve a vision of holiness and commanded them to live their lives according to that vision. The payoff for doing so would be eternal life in paradise. They were to obey the vision He had given them, which included avoiding the forbidden tree. They were free to eat of every other tree in the garden, including the Tree of Life (Gen. 2:9). This is the same (spiritual) tree whose “fruit” (salvation) is available to those who obey His Holy Vision today. The fruit of this tree is promised one and all in Revelation 2:7; 22:2,14 as the reward for obeying His Word/Law by living according to His Holy Vision. This life-giving tree corresponds to the “Good Olive Tree” written about in Romans 11 whose fruit produces eternal life. In contrast, the “wild olive tree” corresponds to the devil’s counterfeit tree whose sinful fruit he claims will produce eternal life. Professing Christendom believes him. Only a minutely “few” (God’s remnant) refuse to buy what he is selling (Mat. 7:13,14).
So important is God’s Word (Truth–Jn. 17:17) that He arranged for it to be preserved and made available until this day. It is the most often purchased and most often stolen written document ever produced. So important is this document that ANY DEVIATION FROM IT IS LABELED “SIN” BY ITS AUTHOR. His holy vision reveals a black and white life. The “walk” (1 Jn. 2:6) of the true saint is indeed black or white when viewed through God’s eyes–the only view that counts. One embraces and emulates (walks) either His vision (Law) or Satan’s vision (church doctrine). One eats of either His tree or Satan’s tree. Contrary to the wishful thinking of Sinners Saved By Grace, there can be no mixing of fruit. S.S.B.G. should study and believe Christ’s Words to their (S.S.B.G.) spiritual brethren in the ancient Laodicean Church as recorded in Revelation 3:14-18. A short summary of His message is: TO REJECT GOD’S VISION IS TO REJECT GOD HIMSELF. Which is exactly what Jesus said in Luke 10:16. In no uncertain terms He stated that to reject His Words is to DESPISE both Himself and His Father. This includes the fourth commandment.
Satan has successfully blinded his church to the reality of Christ’s Words. What began in Eden still holds true in this final era of man’s worldly history. Satan has replaced God’s Holy Bible with his (Satan’s) church doctrine, thereby making it easy to keep his unholy vision before his followers’ eyes continually. In this way his thoughts, words and deeds dominate the lives of those who claim to be the children of the Biblical God. This deadly spiritual infirmity is as old as humanity itself. Not long after Adam and Eve’s vision exchange (fruit-mixing) fiasco the Almighty drowned the entirety of the world’s population for rejecting His vision. We find Moses writing about these people in Genesis 6:5. He explains why these people were drowned en masse: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart (mind) was evil continually.” Nothing has changed. Satan-led churchites insist on their right to sin and get away with it, even going so far as to accuse Jesus of dying in order to make it possible.
Satan’s unholy vision permeates the minds of professing Christians. One never hears them speak of holiness and obedience to God’s Law. I did hear a famous preacher say that we must obey God’s Law. Ironically, he was at that time leading his global congregation in breaking the fourth commandment of that Law. He and his congregation would adamantly assert that the Law was nailed to the cross, and that it is impossible to live a holy life. This in spite of GOD’S COMMAND THAT WE BE HOLY BECAUSE HE IS HOLY (1 Pet. 1:15,16; 2:9/ 2 Pet. 3:11/ Rev. 20:6). In First John “the disciple whom Jesus loved” (Jn. 13:23) warns church sinners that they are under the control of the devil (3:8). Jesus had earlier spoken that same Truth to a group of people who, having heard Him speak, “believed in Him.” In John 8:30,31 He tells those “believers” that faith in Him was not enough, that in order to be His true disciples they must obey God’s Words. When they balked at His command He told them that THEIR FATHER WAS THE DEVIL (8:43,44). They rejected His Vision of Holiness in favor of Satan’s unholy vision which today is called “church doctrine.” The Lord, through Timothy, calls such beliefs and practices “doctrines of devils” (1 Tim. 4:1). Many of those doctrines are recorded in the Introduction to this website. Jesus also said to those who “believed in Him” that: “He who hears (believes and obeys) God’s Words is of God. You (“believers”) do not hear His Words because you are not of God” (Jn. 8:47). These people had faith in Him. However, their faith was not backed up with works (obedience to His Words). Their faith, as James tells us in 2:14,17,18,20,22,24,26, was dead. Nothing has changed. In that we live by our faith, without works of obedience our faith is dead, making us spiritually dead. Spiritual deadness is the result of rejecting God’s Vision of Holiness which entails obedience to His Law. Read God’s Royal Law. Key word–“Royal.”
Due to the Institutional Church’s embrace of Satan’s vision of unholiness and her ignorance and unbelief of God’s Word, she believes that she is one with the Biblical God and is walking with Him. The Proverbist sums up God’s attitude toward her theology in this way: “There is a way (“walk”) that seems right to a man, but the end of that way is destruction” (Prov. 14:12). The end of Satan’s vision of unholiness (iniquity–Lawlessness) is spiritual death in this life and physical destruction (being burned to ashes) following judgment. “Judgment begins in the church” (1 Pet. 4:17). Saints must judge themselves as to whose vision they are following. Eternal life and death are determined by their answer. L.J.
