In the spiritual realm there are two kinds of truth: God’s Scriptural Truth identified by Jesus of Nazareth as His Word/Law (Jn. 17:17) and church “truth” identified by whomever is defining “truth” according to his/her religious organization. As noted in the previous posting, the nations of the world, including the so-called “Christian nations,” are living in the midst of a pandemic of religious confusion in which there is no such thing as “absolute truth.” Their world is one in which spiritual truth is relative and subjective, dependent on the whims and wishful thinking of “truth” determiners who number over two billion. For this reason so-called “Christianity” consists of two divisions (Catholic and Protestant) and hundreds of sub-divisions (denominations, faiths, etc.). These divisions are not modern creations. The division between God’s Truth and man’s “truth” has been around since Adam and Eve’s blunder.
The God of the Old Testament (the Word Who became Jesus of Nazareth) spoke to and through the Prophet Isaiah concerning the spiritual condition of religion that would exist during the latter days, the days in which we are living today. His Words are recorded in chapter 30, verses 8-13. He begins by telling Isaiah to write what He (God) is about to say on a scroll (book) so that His Words would be preserved and available at “the time of the end” (of the age) and “for ever and ever.” He begins by telling the Israelites that they were a rebellious people–liars who would refused to hear His Law taught by His prophets. The people made their attitude toward His prophets and Him very clear. They told His prophets to stop reading the Law and stop telling (prophesying to) them what would happen to them if they failed to obey it. The people told God’s prophets to, “Stop prophesying to us true things, tell us smooth things, prophesy deceits. Stop following God’s path (of righteousness), stop presenting the Holy One of Israel to us, stop holding Him up before us.” The Almighty then warns them, telling them (and us) that, because they DESPISE the Words of the prophets and embrace the teaching of others, that a time was coming when they would fall like a tree branch. This happened to the ten northern tribes in 722 B.C. and to the southern tribes in 585 B.C. when they were defeated and enslaved by the Assyrians and the Babylonians respectively. In Luke 10:16 that same God warned salvation seekers that to reject His Word proves that the seeker DESPISES BOTH HIM AND HIS FATHER. In 2 Timothy 4:3,4 the Apostle Paul warns the evangelist that rejection of God’s Truth was beginning to gain strength within the New Testament Church. Looking forward to the end of the age, Paul wrote: “For the time will come when they (church people) will not endure sound doctrine, but will follow their own lusts and in so doing will embrace false teachers. Having itching ears, they will reject God’s Truth and embrace the fables taught by their false prophets (hirelings).” For this reason Paul instructed Timothy to: “Study (THE WORD) to show yourself approved by God” (2 Tim. 2:15). “Preach THE WORD at all times; reprove and rebuke those who reject it, using THE WORD OF THE LORD” (2 Tim. 4:3). In preparation for doing this, Timothy was told to: “Continue to preach the things you have learned (from Paul).” He goes on to remind the young evangelist that it is only through obedience to “THE SCRIPTURES” that salvation is possible, for “ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God and is good for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for training in (learning to manifest) righteousness.” Only if he diligently studied GOD’S WORD would he be prepared to do the job assigned to him by the Lord (3:14-17).
In John 8:44 the Apostle tells us who it is that speaks lies to salvation seekers. He identifies the source of the false “truths” being preached from pulpit and podium. The source of false Christianity is Satan. John does not mince words when describing the source of church doctrine: “There is no truth in him. When he speaks (through his false prophets) he speaks his own truth, which is a lie. He is a liar and the father of lies.” Using his perverted gospel (Gal. 1:6-9), the “god of this world” has “deceived the whole world” (2 Cor. 4:4/ Rev. 12:9). THIS EXPLAINS WHAT WE SEE TAKING PLACE AROUND US AND THROUHOUT THE WORLD. There is no curse without a cause. We see God’s curses repeatedly being poured out on man. The cause of man’s many “woes” is man’s rejection of His Law, which His called, appointed and anointed ministers preach and teach to this day.
Church people hate God’s Truth, which is why their leaders lie to them. They know that if they speak God’s Truth they will be fired. Their political leaders also hate the Truth. Like their religious counterparts, they know that if they tell the people the truth the people will not vote for them, thereby denying them the power they crave. When I point out God’s Truth to church people–which invariably condemns their beliefs and practices–anger and rejection are always forthcoming. With the exception of God’s Very Elect remnant, people love lies and hate truth, Adam and Eve being the earliest exemplars. For this reason human knowledge is hopelessly intermixed with true knowledge, false knowledge and outright deception such as that coming from the three units of American Government and the two-headed religious whore known as “the church.” Evil is personified by liberals in both church and state, from which come lie after lie. The Lord speaks to this phenomenon in Jeremiah 5:30,31: “A wonderous and horrible thing is being committed in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule according to their desires, AND THE PEOPLE LOVE TO HAVE IT SO ….” Nothing has changed. Modern churchites reject the very Words written in their Bibles–the same Bibles they say guarantees that they are saved. Truly, Satan has deceived the whole world, of which the Institutional Church is an active participant.
We can be free from deception and disinformation only by EMBRACING THE TRUTH, WHICH COMES ONLY FROM GOD. Truth is spiritual. Error is also spiritual. Each has a source. Only if we know God intimately can we discern Truth and error and know the source of each. John states that only the Lord’s Very Elect can distinguish between the spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. We are His Very Elect only if we obey His Law (1 Jn. 4:4-6). Without God living within us in the form of His Holy Spirit church people are low hanging fruit for the spirit of error–Satan. Jesus made it clear that only through Him–THE WORD/TRUTH/WAY–can man receive eternal life. For example, He said, “I am the way, the Truth and the life.” He said to His Father: “Your Word is Truth.” He said to His disciples: “If you continue in My Word, then you are My disciples indeed; and you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free (of error).” He told His disciples that He would die for His friends. Then He said: “You are My friends IF you do whatsoever I command you.” Only His spiritual brethren will join Him on His throne in the Kingdom of God. He identified His spiritual brethren as “Those who do the will of My Father Who is in heaven” Jn. 14:6; 17:17; 8:31-32; 15:13,14/ Mat. 12:46-50). These statements alone should identify spiritual Truth and its only source.
Today it is almost impossible to find real, objective Truth being put forth. Truth, we are told from every direction but one, is relative. As a result, “Every man does what is right in his own eyes” (Jud. 17:6; 21:25) on both the spiritual and the secular level. The current results of man’s rejection of God’s Truth is called COVID-19, meaning that there have been 19 variations of it. I assume that the Delta variant will be identified as COVID-20. God-rejecting man continues to struggle against the pandemic. He may be allowed to come up with a cure. But be sure, God will soon send another curse on him. And still man does not learn. The moral of this situation– REMEMER ANCIENT ISRAEL.
Finding the Truth and solving the problems caused by man’s rejection of it requires man to submit his mind/heart to Almighty God–the Creator of Truth. Man must hunger and thirst for God’s Truth, love it, embrace it, believe it and obey it. Then, and only then, will man be free of error and the curses that accompany it. King David says to those who believe and obey God’s Law that they will not fear war, plague or pestilence. He tells true believers: “Though a thousand fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, it (war, disease) will not come near you.” Though they will see the punishment of the wicked, such will not come near them for God will send His angels to protect them. They will overcome whatever Satan sends their way (Ps. 91:5-13). Speaking of Satan’s attacks on God’s true saints, Moses wrote: “The Lord will cause your enemies to rise up against you so as to be defeated before you; they will come against you one way and will flee from you seven ways” (Deut. 28:7). He then tells us what will happen if we do not obey Him (vss 15-68). Remember that God’s Words to Israel and His dealings with them were recorded and preserved for the end time church to use as her examples (Eph. 2:20/ Rom. 15:8/ 2 Cor. 1:20/ Isa. 21;42/ 2 Tim. 3:14-16/ 2 Pet. 1:21). Yet she rejects the Old Testament Law which identifies New Testament sin and righteousness (1 Jn. 3:4)–righteousness is produced if we obey it, sin if we don’t. L.J.
