In this modern, constantly evolving, God-rejecting, religion-saturated nation, sin is an accepted, “normal” aspect of “Christian life.” Sins such as adultery, homosexuality, drug use, religion-mixing, witchcraft and Scripture (God) rejection fail to raise so much as an eyebrow. Two episodes witnessed by people around the world prove that the United States, the “One Nation Under God” in Whom she supposedly trusts, leads the world in service to her god–Satan.

During the 2016 presidential race a young whore went on television to proclaim that, because her sex partners were many and she had limited funds to live on, she expected the nation’s taxpayers to pay for her birth control medications. This, she lectured the United States congress, the nation and the world, was the “normal” and “right” thing to do. An overnight sensation, she immediately became the new face of the Democrat Party and was a featured speaker at the Democratic National Convention. The only reason her demand was not met was because the Dems did not have the necessary votes to turn it into law. One day soon the liberals will take over all three branches of government and ideas such as hers will become the “new normal.”

Following her whirlwind speaking tour, what stood out to me was the almost total lack of condemnation from the press, the churches and the American people themselves. I did my part by publishing an article in the local newspaper. Not one politician openly came against her. Only one nationally-known radio voice came out publicly against her. I can remember the time when she would have been publicly condemned from every corner of society and would have become a public outcast. But that was the “old normal.” We are now a much more sophisticated and intellectually astute population. The old normal–the one instituted by the Biblical God–has not merely been rejected, it has become a source of national embarrassment.

A more recent event shows just how far the “new normal” has strayed from the Biblical standard. I do not watch the mindless products put forth on television so I had to get this report from people who do. On a recent “boy meets girl” type of what is loosely called “reality t.v.,” a girl looking for “true love” admitted that she, a professing Christian, had had sex with someone on the program. A male on the program challenged her sexually active type of Christianity. Irate that someone would question her devotion to God and His devotion to her, she noted that Jesus loved her so much that He automatically forgave her deliberate, premeditated and repeated sins. No one, she said, had the right to judge her in that He did not. Not surprisingly, many viewers, some of them ministers, came to her defense and agreed with her “I can sin and get away with it because I’m a Christian” theology. The Godhead, they would lead us to believe, is nothing more than a forgiveness factory. The “kicker” for me was her explanation for God’s self-imposed blindness to her Biblically-forbidden sins. Perhaps, she reasoned, God was using her repeated sins and His forgiveness of them to reveal to the world that His grace had no bounds. The sin-repent-forgive cycle was a normal part of church life. Ironically, the God that overlooks her whoredoms condemns them in Romans 6:1,2 where He, speaking through the Apostle Paul, said: “Shall we continue to sin so that God can reveal His grace? God forbid. How can a Christian continue to sin?” He/she can’t. Bottom line: GOD FORBIDS SIN–PERIOD.

Another statement from the Almighty reveals how such theological madness has become commonplace in the United States–the world’s most Bible-owning population on earth. In Romans 1:28 Paul states that, because such people refuse to believe and obey the One they claimed as their God, He “gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things that are not right.” I have said that if one wants to commit spiritual suicide, God will provide the tree, the rope and the stool. Sins that at one time were considered “abnormal” and condemned, if accepted and practiced, become “normal,” having miraculously evolved from ungodly to Godly. As one queer priest said, “God has changed.” Another minister noted that he and his congregation were “… stepping outside the Bible ….” in their search for right and wrong.

The entire nation has rebelled against God. Several universities now force their students to pay extra fees to cover the cost of abortions for girls who want to rid themselves of the products of their whoredoms. Today’s stupid idea often becomes tomorrow’s brilliant idea. Who would have ever thought that this nation created by God to glorify Him would legalize the murder of 60,000,000 unborn innocents? Or that two men or two women could legally marry and raise children? Welcome to America’s “new normal.” I believe that soon we will see legalized group marriage. What’s next, marriage to animals? Don’t dismiss that idea. People now leave fortunes to their cats and dogs. We have proved time and again that there is no limit to the evilness of Godless men.

God foretold what would happen if man rejected His My-Way-Only religion. Man did, which brought to fruition a prophecy found in Proverbs 21:2 where the Lord warned that one day each man would “do what is right in his own eyes.” An example of this mentality took place during the days of Noah when “the heart of man was on evil continually.” We know how that came out. God is no respecter of persons. What He did to those people, what He did to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, what He did to the world during the Black Plague, influenza epidemics, two world wars and the Holocaust. He called these deadly occurrences merely “… the beginning of sorrows.” He is about to do to the people of the United States, England and all other so-called “Christian nations” what He prophesied in Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation. He noted that all that would have taken place–the beginning of sorrows–would pale in comparison to what would be coming.

In order to miss all of the above and to join Jesus Christ on His throne in the coming Kingdom of God we must adhere to the “old normal.” We must walk as He walked (1 Jn. 2:6), purify ourselves as He is pure (1 Jn. 3:3) by continuously being washed by the water by the Word (Eph. 5:26) and overcome Satan as He overcame him (Rev. 3:21). God’s “normal” has been around since “righteous Abel” walked the earth. We must live God’s “normal” (walk Christ’s walk) until the end (Mat. 10:22) in order to receive eternal life at the return of Jesus Christ. L.J.
