In church circles, as in the world in general, the “new normal” is whatever makes people feel good about themselves at the moment. A few years from that moment another moment will arrive, bringing with it yet another “new normal.” As the student of the Scriptures knows, this process began shortly after the establishment of the New Covenant Church. Over the ensuing years God’s commandments–His “normal”–have been rejected and replaced by a series of “new normals” If the original apostles could stand before the Institutional Church today they would condemn the Satan-empowered, man-directed enemy of God she has become.

The New Covenant church was established on the Day of Pentecost 31 A.D. The Old and New Testaments were recorded for the end-time church so that she would not repeat the deadly errors made by her ancestors when they deviated from God’s unchanging, written-in-stone “normal.” See the Introduction for a list of some of those deadly errors. As the Apostle Paul warned, each “doctrine of devils” (1 Tim. 4:1) was embraced by the church as she moved farther and farther away from the Lord’s “normal.” Today those deviations form the foundation of Catholicism/Protestantism. Compare this fact with God’s statements in Ephesians 2:20 and 2 Peter 1:21 where He tells us that His church was founded on the teachings of the prophets and apostles as they were moved upon by His Holy Spirit. THE ultimate foundation stone upon which the church was founded was God’s Law, which the church claims was “nailed to the cross.” By eliminating the Law, the church also eliminated sin, which God defined as the transgression of His Law (1 Jn. 2:6). Having eliminated the Law–the Lord’s “normal”–the Counterfeit Church has awarded herself the freedom to create a “new normal” each time the mood strikes, which is happening with ever more frequency. Adam and Eve–the original “new normal” proponents–would be proud of their religious descendants.

The ever-changing foundation of Satan’s New Testament Church consists of whatever happens to be the will of the people at any given time.  It seems that God’s mind is subject to periodic, even predictable change. The church is quick to pick up on His truth evolutions. Like a smorgasbord of food, each truth-evolution brings with it an exciting variety of new options. One simply picks out the “truths” one believes, then joins with others who have embraced those same truths. There are two main divisions of church truth: Catholicism and Protestantism. The latter offers hundreds of different truth options. And if the truth-seeker does not find the truths he wants, he can create his own, attach God’s name to them, gather to him others of the same mind-set and wolla, a new church, and a new set of “truths,” is born. And Satan rejoices in that his children have found a new way to serve him. An added bonus is that THEY THINK THEY ARE SERVING GOD. Truly, the Serpent of Eden has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9).

As a result of the ever-evolving nature of Satan’s gospel, the billions of unwitting parishioners within his church system have come to hate the true gospel. This is not a recent happening. Recall that the religious people of Christ’s day hated His gospel so much that they killed Him and those He sent to preach it. Even then, God’s “normal” was anathema to the religious hierarchy and summarily rejected. Today His gospel is not merely rejected, it is despised. As Jesus said in Luke 10:16, those who reject His Word despise Him, His Father, His messengers and the message itself.

The Institutional Church has evolved along with the world in general. Having accepted the heathen doctrines and customs listed in the Introduction, the church has of late come to embrace even more vile heathen offerings. For example, sexual deviancy (adultery, homosexuality, transexuality, gay marriage, etc.), which the world has accepted as “normal,” is now being embraced by the church. Those who have not accepted this “new normal” will “see the light” as the pressure to conform grows more intense. Another example of new truth recognition concerns abortion. Churches that came out against the Supreme Court decision in the past are now joining other churches by embrasing the murder of the innocents. One can only guess what the next religious “new normal” will look like. Already, there is a world-wide move within professing Christianity to join with other religions. For example, “Christlam”–the union of Christianity and Islam–is becoming the “in” thing. Catholics and Protestants are beginning to embrace. Surely no Truth-seeking believer has to guess why God has turned His back on the Institutional Church and those supposed Christian nations in which they are located. We have sown the wind. The whirlwind is coming in the form of wars, invasion by foreigners, heat waves, drought, flooding, record snow accumulation, famines, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, indiscriminate killings of masses of people, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. As Jesus said, “These are but the beginning of sorrows.” Due to a succession of “new normals,” there are more and worse sorrows coming.
