In the social world, new results in improvement in the life of the people, even when the new is contrary to God’s Word, abortion being a prime example. In the spiritual world, new always results in death, the acceptance of homosexuality being a prime example. In society “normal” is constantly changing. In God’s world, “normal” has been the same from the beginning. Within the family of God, sticking strictly to His “eternal normal” eventually results in conversion which, if continued until the end of life or Christ’s return, will result in rebirth and eternal life. In order to remain on the narrow path that leads to salvation, one cannot deviate from His path–His Law.

The Apostle James, writing under the power of the Holy Spirit, warns us that to deviate from the Law on only one point is the same as deviating on all points (2:10), making the deviant a worker of iniquity–Lawless. Jesus vowed to reject all workers of iniquity on the day of judgment (Lk. 13:27). The Law never changes because the Writer of the Law never changes. He said: “I am the Lord; I change not” (Mal. 3:6). He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8). The Bible is God in written form. Jesus said that man must live by every Word that comes from the mouth of God–the Bible–(Mat. 4:4). Jesus said that God’s Words are Truth (Jn. 17:17). Jesus, being the Word of God in human form, said about Himself: “I am the way, the Truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by (obedience to) Me” (Jn. 14:6).

In Ephesians 4:1-4 the Apostle Paul declared: “There is one body, one Spirit, one hope of our calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of those who are truly His. God commands oneness in obedience to His Word. He declared in John 12:48 that everyone who has ever lived will be judged by His Word. To deviate from one of those Words is to declare that God lied. With extremely rare exception, the entirety of professing Christendom rejects commandment #4 which declares God’s Sabbath to be the seventh day of the week. The Counterfeit Church rejects His entire Law by declaring the first day of the week as the Sabbath. Three billion plus Catholics and Protestants practice iniquity, are not know by God and are therefore spiritually dead. God’s tiny church is alive because she believes and obeys His Word from Genesis to Revelation. L.J.
