During the Revolutionary War only about 20% of the colonists actually fought against the world’s mightiest military for the fledgling nation’s freedom. In today’s revolution, the number of those in professing Christendom standing against the current Satan-empowered government, social and religious onslaught is more like .02%, and I am being optimistic. A few holdouts in the Institutional Church have been able to fend off the devil’s attempt to completely subjugate the entire system. However, this will soon change as both the Scriptures and church history attest. As the Lord warned while speaking about the church’s condition during the days in which we live, “… night is coming when no man can work” (Jn. 9:4). Night is indeed coming when the government will begin to strictly enforce the United Nations’ Hate Crimes Law which will shut down Truth-based ministries world-wide. It is for this reason that I have produced almost 600 teachings over the past year and a half. The time of darkness the Lord was referring to equates to the last days of this era. To refresh readers’ memories, the Apostle Peter said on the Day of Pentecost, A.D. 31: “THIS IS THAT which was spoken by the Prophet Joel, ‘And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS ….” (Acts 2:17/Joel 2:29). He goes on to describe the miraculous signs and wonders that will take place during those times. God is true: we will see everything Joel and Peter spoke about before the coming of the Lord. Notice that Peter said, “This is that …. last days.” “This” referred to the physical manifestations of the Holy Spirit–miracles. “Last days” which began on the day the New Covenant Church came into being, are what we are living in today. When spiritual darkness envelops the earth and God has taken His saints to their place of safety, only two rays of light will remain to warn the nations. He calls these men His “two witnesses” who will wreak havoc on the earth until He allows them to be killed (Rev. 11:3). But before these things happen much turmoil is prophesied to take place among the world’s populations.
In Acts 20:29 the Apostle Paul warned that, following his death, religious wolves would attack the church by bringing in all manner of Satanic doctrines which parishioners would embrace whole-heartedly. Both Church and secular history have proven him right. Following the deaths of the Lord’s apostles, Catholicism, finding itself not having to face the likes of Paul, Peter, et al, began to grow in size. Due to having the backing of the Roman Empire, she also experienced a rapid growth in power. Anxious to wield her power, she began to persecute what few true believers that were left, forcing them to flee to the outer reaches of civilization. See Simon of Samaria–the Legacy. Harassed continually by the government-empowered church, their numbers gradually dwindled. Persecution and ostracism, combined with Catholicism’s rejection of God’s Word, kept the body of true believers extremely small. In more recent times the Catholic/Protestant religious system has succeeded in keeping God’s church relatively unknown. Today only a few thousand true saints exist globally. As religious correctness empowered by a combined governmental, social and religious force comes to rule mankind, many of those will eventually bow to Satan. To be continued. L.J.
