“Adam’s sin makes holiness on the part of the believer impossible” is put forth as a Bible “truth” by scoffers who reject God’s call to holiness.  Another “truth” concerns God’s definition of sin, which is to break His Ten Commandment Law (1 Jn. 3:4).  We are continuously told that breaking the Law is  impossible because it was “nailed to the cross.”  Nowhere in the Holy Scriptures do we find those “truths.”  They are examples of man’s perversion of God’s true gospel (Gal. 1:6).

The purpose of a God-called, Holy Spirit-led ministry is to tell people God’s Truth as stated in His Holy Bible. We will go straight to that Truth (His Word-Jn. 17:17) to expose the deadly theology of modern day scoffers who call themselves “sinners saved by grace.”  God’s Word reveals the identity of their god–Satan, the father of lies.  What we will find in the Scriptures is that God does not desire holiness on the part of church people, HE COMMANDS IT.  As the following passages will show, without a Christ-level “walk” in this life one cannot spend eternity with Him in the next life (1 Jn. 2:6; 3:3/ Rev. 3:21). Scoffers proclaim that what God commands man to do, man cannot do, that Jesus died so that man need not do what God commands him to do, and that merely believing in Him is sufficient for receiving eternal life.  God warns us that Satan has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9) into believing his lies, also known as “church doctrines.” See the Introduction to this website for an incomplete list of those church “truths.”  Contrary to universal opinion, CHRIST DID NOT DIE SO THAT CHURCH PEOPLE COULD SIN AND GET AWAY WITH IT.  HE DIED SO THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT COULD ABIDE IN GOD’S SAINTS AND EMPOWER THEM TO RESIST SATAN’S TEMPTATIONS TO SIN.  This Truth is voiced in 1 John 4:4 where the Lord tells His obedient saints that “greater is he (the Holy Spirit) that is in you than he (Satan) that is in the world.”  It is God and Christ living in the saint in the form of the Holy Spirit that empowers the Very Elect to ward off Satan’s “fiery darts” (temptations)–Eph. 6:16–as did Christ (Rev. 3:21). The Holy Spirit is the “armor” which surrounds and protects God’s true saints when the devil attacks them (Eph. 6:11).  Catholics and Protestants do not have the Holy Spirit within them and therefore have no chance against Satan who manipulates them at will.  “Sinners saved by grace” have waved the white flag of surrender.  To save face they have concocted an excuse (Adam’s sin) for their unconditional capitulation to him.

If I could use only one Book in my ministry it would be the Apostle John’s first epistle.  In this crown jewel of the Holy Scriptures “the disciple whom Jesus loved” tells us that in order to be saved we must live “IN CHRIST.”  One lives in Him ONLY by “walking as He walked” as a man (1 Jn. 2:6) and “purifying himself even as He (Jesus) is pure” (1 Jn. 3:3).  The Scriptures tell us that being “in Christ” also entails being “in the Father.”  To be “in Them” also means that the true believer has both Christ and God “in him/her in the form of the Holy Spirit.  The Spirit relays Their Words to the saint, who must obey Their Words in order to be God’s sons (Rom. 8:14).  The saint must obey the “voice” of the Spirit in order to remain justified–free of sin (Rom. 2:13).  One must remain justified until the end in order to receive salvation upon the return of Jesus Christ (Mat. 10:22).  Few, Jesus warned in John 7:13,14, would walk His way.  Many, He warned, would follow Satan into his counterfeit church system–Catholicism/Protestantism.  The church insists that living in holiness is impossible, that, due to Adam’s miraculous sin-infusion act, we are all sinners.

The idea that we must sin is refuted in 1 John 2:1: “I write these things (God’s rules) to you (the church) so that (by obeying them) you WILL NOT SIN.  But IF anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”  Notice that the apostle’s words were designed to be obeyed.  Obedience = holiness.  The Words “if one sins” reveals that sin is abnormal in the life of a true saint.  Not so, we are told from pulpit and podium, sin is the normal church condition.  Someone is lying.

God’s rules for qualifying for eternal life revolve around one Truth: WE MUST OBEY HIS LAW–GENESIS TO REVELATION–WHICH HE CONDENSED INTO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.  Jesus tells us through John that love for Him (Jesus) is the key to the salvation process, and that we must prove our love for Him by obeying the Law.  Jesus voiced this life or death principle when He said: “IF anyone LOVES ME he will KEEP MY WORD (Law), and (then) MY FATHER WILL LOVE HIM, and WE WILL COME TO (ABIDE IN) HIM AND MAKE OUR ABODE (HOME) WITH (IN) HIM.”  “He who loves Me keeps My Commandments/Words” (Jn. 14:15,23).  “For this is the love (we show) of God, that we keep His commandments” (1 Jn. 5:3).  “If you (disciples) love Me you will keep My commandments and will (then) abide in My love just as I keep the Father’s commandments and (therefore) abide in His love” (Jn. 15:10).  Note that Jesus abode in God’s love by keeping His commandments.   Christ’s rules for qualifying for salvation are as follows: obedience to the Holy Bible proves that the seeker loves Jesus, which prompts His Father to love the obedient seeker.  This prompts Father and Son to make their abode in him/her in the form of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit in turn empowers him/her to obey God’s Word/Truth until Christ’s return at which time salvation will be awarded.

Scoffers reject these Biblical rules, proclaiming that all that is necessary for salvation is faith, which is supposedly awarded instantly upon expressing it.  This in spite of James telling us repeatedly that faith without works (obedience to the Holy Bible–the Law/commandments) is dead faith (2:10,14,17,18,20,24,26).  We live by faith.  Therefore if our faith is dead, we are spiritually dead.  One’s super-religiosity has no effect on this rule.  Either God or the church is wrong.  We will allow John’s first epistle to identify which is which.  L.J.
