One need only note the heathenistic doctrines and practices of Catholic and Protestant churches to realize that they have united into one anti-God unit. But the push for unity does not stop there, as is evidenced by the response to Pope John Paul II’s statement that there can be no international unity until all religions are “subject to Rome.” The response was absolute silence. One heard not one word of rebuke from the so-called “Protestants.” Not one so-called church leader spoke out against the Satan-induced statement mouthed by his #1 mouthpiece. The “men and women of God” were too busy lauding his Christianness. Unfortunately, he was right about one thing–all of the world’s religions will indeed come together during the time leading up to the Great Tribulation to form a one-world religious system headed, I believe, by the reigning pope of that day. This miracle worker is identified in Scripture as the False Prophet. The organization he will direct will rule mankind with an iron fist using the power of the First Beast–a one-world government which I believe will be the European Union. See The Ingathering. If Simon the Sorcerer was alive today he would be thrilled to see what his church has managed to do and what it is about to do. Having lured the Protestants back to herself, she will soon subjugate all other religions, forming one all-powerful unit that will complete the replacement of God’s Word/Truth with his perverted version of it.

Everything revolves around God’s Word/Truth–THE ONLY KNOWLEDGE WE HAVE ABOUT THE GODHEAD. The reason God rejects those who do not believe and obey His Word is that He views His Word and His Son as one in the same. To reject His Word is to reject His Son (Jn. 12:48). In John 1:1-4,14 He calls Jesus “THE WORD.” In Revelation 19:13 He said of His Son: “… and His name shall be called “THE WORD OF GOD.” In Galatians 3:8 and Romans 9:17 Jesus is called “THE SCRIPTURE.” In Revelation 3:7,8 we are told that to deny (not believe and obey) His Word is to deny the very name of Jesus. This is a deadly choice, for “… THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED” (Acts 4:12). In John 12:48 we are told that all men will be judged by the Word of God. Jesus said in John 4:34 that He had come to “… do the will of the Father and to finish His work.” God’s will is expressed in His Word. Jesus came to obey His Word as a man and to instill it in those who would follow Him, thereby finishing the Father’s work. Jesus prayed that God’s will would be done on earth as it is in heaven (Lk. 11:2). His will is found in His Word. Jesus was looking forward to the day when men would obey the Father’s Word throughout the world. GOD’S SAINTS OBEY HIS WILL AS EXPRESSED IN HIS WORD AND AS WAS DEMONSTRATED BY HIS SON. GOD’S WORD IS JESUS IN WRITTEN FORM; JESUS IS GOD’S WORD IN HUMAN FORM. GOD AND JESUS ARE SPIRITUALLY ONE (Jn. 17:22). In this passage Jesus prayed that the apostles would be ONE even as He and the Father were ONE–HE PRAYED THAT ALL WOULD BE ONE IN THE WORD.

Yet prideful churchman, yielding to the spirit of Antichrist that runs rampant throughout professing Christendom, assumes the right to edit God’s Word at will, to choose which of His Words he will change and which he will reject outright. ALL WILL BE JUDGED BY THE WORD; CHURCHMAN HAS WRITTEN HIS OWN WORD;CHURCHMAN HAS MADE HIMSELF HIS OWN JUDGE–CHURCHMAN HAS REPLACED GOD, THE ULTIMATE ACT OF IDOLATRY. To be continued. L.J.
