History repeats itself, we are told. In the spiritual realm, the saying holds true with an iron grip. If every church member who disregards the Old Testament was asked why he/she did so, the vast majority would reply that the Old Testament was the Law and the Law was “nailed to the cross” of Jesus Christ. Why would they reply in that manner? Because they believe and obey “THE TRADITIONS OF THE FATHERS.”

Today we are watching the results of that mindset played out on the evening news as tens of thousands of people around the world march in protest of the fact that the Jews of the Middle East occupy what is called “Israel,” a tiny strip of land modern day Muslims believe was stolen from their ancestors. Both secular and religious history reveal that the 12 tribes of Israel owned and occupied that entire region of the world for generations before Muhammed, the creator of Islam, was born. This fact has no effect on the masses who “know” that the Jews took the land away from the ancient Muslims. The fact that Muhammed took many of his religion’s beliefs from Israel’s Book (Heb.–Bible) has no effect on the rabid Jew-haters. They “know” that what they “know” is right–period. Facts be damned; THE TRADITIONAL BELIEFS OF THE MUSLIM FATHERS IS TRUTH–CASE CLOSED.

But let not the church point the judgmental finger at them, for she does the exact same thing–SHE WORSHIPS AND SERVES THE SAME GODS AND MESSIAHS THAT HER ANCESTORS WORSHIPED AND SERVED. Why? Because they “know” that their ancestors were “right,” EVEN THOUGH THE BOOK THEY CLAIM TO BE THEIR GOD’S TRUTH REPEATEDLY PROVES THAT WHAT THEIR ANCESTORS BELIEVED WERE SATANIC LIES. As the title of this series states: PROFESSING CHRISTENDOM’S EMBRACE OF THE TRADITIONS OF THEIR CHURCH FATHERS PLACES SATAN’S TREMENDOUS POWERS ON DISPLAY FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. And he smiles.

That which calls itself “Christianity” is among the world’s largest religions in terms of numbers. Due to this truth her Ten Commandment Law is the most widely-known foundation of a religion known to man. For example, anywhere in the world where organized religion is recognized, people of every religious stripe “know” that so-called Christianity’s Sabbath is Sunday, the first day of their week. Not long ago many American cities and towns were continuing to observe what were called “Blue Laws” which forbad businesses from opening on Sunday. Everyone, including non-christians, obeyed the law.

Ask people in foreign lands what day is the Christian Sabbath and the majority will point to Sunday–the day sun worshipers paid homage to their god–the sun whose name was Tammuz–(Eze. 8). This demonstrates once again the power Satan has over minds of all but a minutely few people throughout the world. Even the haters of the Biblical God recognize professing Christendom’s Sunday Sabbath. The fact that pope Sylvester I changed the church’s Sabbath from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week in 364 A.D. at the Council of Laodicea, and the fact that the church had observed God’s Sabbath for the previous 333 years means nothing. Grandpa said Sunday was the Sabbath, so that has to be the truth. And Satan grins.

As I have stated in previous series, the Lord has shown me that Blue Laws will make a comeback in the near future. I am guessing between two and four years. Only this time they will affect every human being on earth. A time is soon coming when every nation on earth will join together to observe a global day of rest–an internationally-observed Sabbath which will unite the nations in an attempt to bring global peace and harmony. I believe that the reigning Catholic pope at that time will be the uniter-in-chief who will convince national leaders around the world to enforce the decree, using police force if necessary. The God-hating, one-world religion this will create is depicted in Revelation 17:1-5 where she is called “Mystery, Babylon,” the “Great Whore” (Catholicism) and her “harlot daughters” (Protestantism) who is “drunk on the blood of the saints.” Read The Ingathering: The Rise of the End-time Church. Over the past dozen or so years the Lord has had me working literally night and day on this website. He even caused me to have a car wreck to stop me from do my secular job so that I could devote my waking hours to His ministry. He reminds me periodically that I must “… work while it is day, for night is coming when no man can work” (Jn. 9:4). I am up at all hours fulfilling His ministry call on my life. For example, night before last I went to bed at 10:00 and slept until 12:00 when the Lord awakened me by a radio coming on at my bedside. That radio has not been used in many years. I arose fully awake and worked until 4:00 a.m. He uses a variety of acts to awaken me and get me going. One time a hand grabbed my foot and pulled it off the bed. Another time a horn blast from my bedside awakened me. On another occasion I woke myself up praying (loudly) in German. I do not know German. Last evening I went to bed at 9:00, was awakened at 12:00, worked until 4:30, went back to bed and woke up at 9:00–about an hour ago. I thank God that He has chosen me to do this work. I can live with strange sleep patterns and unusual wake-up calls. BUT I CANNOT, WILL NOT LIVE WITHOUT HIM. THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE WITH HIM IS TO OBEY HIM.

DO NOT ALLOW THE TRADITIONS OF THE CHURCH FATHERS TO KEEP YOU FROM JOINING JESUS UPON HIS RETURN TO EARTH DURING THE FIRST RESURRECTION. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE OBEYED HIM WILL JOIN HIM IN THE AIR, DESCEND TO THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, THEN ENTER JERUSALEM WHERE HE WILL ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Only those who obey His Law will be part of “resurrection of the firstfruits”–God’s true church (1 Cor. 15:20-23).
