At this time let us take a moment to reflect upon what the Lord has told us so far in this series: The wounds that Jesus suffered were for the healing of the believer’s body (Isa. 53:5). The blood He shed during the ordeal which culminated in His death was for the forgiveness of the believer’s sins (Rom. 5:9). CONTRARY TO POPULAR CHURCH OPINION, CHRIST’S DEATH DOES NOT SAVE THE BELIEVER’S SOUL. In part 3 we will examine God’s Word relative to the third and most important result of Christ’s ordeal, the act that provides eternal life for the true, obedient believer. But first, some reminders are in order.
In Romans 5:8-10 we find the Apostle Paul writing to the church at Rome (and to us), telling us that Christ died for us when we WERE STILL SINNERS, before we were converted, before we had turned from sin to holiness relative to our words, thoughts and deeds. Having had all of our past sins forgiven (been justified) by Christ’s blood, “WE SHALL BE SAVED BY HIS LIFE.” Notice that, though His obedient saints HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED and ARE NO LONGER SINNERS (LAW BREAKERS–1 Jn. 3:4), we are not yet saved. Rather, we “SHALL BE (in the future) SAVED BY HIS LIFE.” Read Matthew 10:22.
In the series titled Hope and Salvation and Born Again (key words–Hope and Born), we learn that we are not saved (born again) in this life, and that eternal life (salvation) will be awarded by Jesus Christ upon His return to earth to resurrect His Very Elect, Law-obeying, holy, peculiar kingdom of priests during the first resurrection. Read The Three Resurrections. Key word–Three.
It is vitally important that the salvation seeker understands this: THERE IS AN EARTHLY, POST-CONVERSION LIFE TO BE LIVED BEFORE ETERNAL LIFE CAN BE AWARDED. THIS PRESENT, SALVATION-PRODUCIJNG LIFE BEGINS AT THE POINT OF TRUE CONVERSION AND ENDS EITHER AT THE MOMENT OF DEATH OR UPON CHRIST’S RETURN, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. THE TEACHING THAT WE ARE SAVED AND BORN AGAIN IN THIS LIFE IS A SATANIC LIE DESIGNED TO DECEIVE SALVATION SEEKERS INTO BELIEVING HIS “ONLY BELIEVE AND REPENT” THEOLOGICAL “TRUTH.” Recall that the five foolish virgins (Christians–Mat. 25) “knew” that, though they had stopped obeying God, they would be allowed to marry His Son upon His return because they were still in the church along with the five wise virgins. Note that all ten were called “virgins.” They were within the group whom God refers to as “My people, who are called by My name.” As the parable reveals, the five fools (“sinners saved by grace”) were His people IN NAME ONLY. In Proverbs 15:2 we are told that when a fool opens his mouth, foolishness comes out. The foolish virgins were not merely wrong, they were dead wrong. They were probably taught errors by false prophets–goats among the sheep and tares among the wheat. Note in Revelation 14:4 that true saints are called “virgins.” Read Who Are God’s People? Key word–People.
In Romans 5:10 we are reminded that sinners, including those supposedly “saved by grace,” are “EMEMIES OF GOD.” This was brought out by Jesus when He declared that those who were not with Him (sinners) were against Him–His enemies (Mat. 12:30). In Revelation 3:14-20 He is speaking about the final (Laodicean) church age in which we now live. Here He describes the modern day church as being “wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.” For this reason He would “spew you (them) out of My mouth” as vomit. Note that this fallen, sin-saturated church was “in His mouth,” meaning that she was one of the seven churches to which He was speaking (1:11) and among which He was standing (1:12,13).
The Laodicean church of today is the Catholic/Protestant religious system known collectively as “the church.” Christ’s description of her could not be more accurate. Contrary to the “virgins” written about in Matthew 25, the ratio of foolish virgins to wise virgins within “the church” today is more like several billion to a few thousand.
In the following segment we will examine the Holy Scriptures in order to understand how CHRIST’S LIFE SAVES THE SOUL OF THE TRUE SAINT. In John 15:13,14 we find Jesus telling His 12 disciples that He would die for His FRIENDS. He then told them that they were His friends for whom He would die, BUT ONLY IF THEY DID EVERYTHING HE COMMANDED THEM TO DO. Those in the church who do not obey His Ten Commandment Law, including commandment #4, are not His friends, but are in fact His enemies (Rom. 5:10). These ignorant souls deliberately live in sin by 1) rejecting God’s blessed and sanctified Sabbath (rest) day (Gen. 2:3) which He calls “My holy Day” (Isa. 58:13), then by 2) doubling the insult by embracing as their Sabbath the day Satan set aside for his people to worship the sun god–Sunday. Read the series concerning God’s Sabbath using that word as the key. The Apostle James (2:10) declares that to break one commandment in the Law is to break the entire Law. God rules His people by His Law–the same Law the church has “nailed to the cross.” This is the Law the Apostle Paul describes as “holy, just, good and righteous,” and in which “truth” is found (Rom. 2:30; 7:12; 8:4; 9:31).
As the following posting will reveal, what we have been told over the past 2000 years concerning Christ’s death and salvation is not merely wrong, but dead wrong. CHRIST’S DEATH DOES NOT SAVE THE BELIEVER. SATAN’S FALSE PROPHETS TELL US REPEATEDLY THAT: “JESUS CHRIST DIED TO SAVE YOUR SOUL. IF YOU BELIEVE THAT AND REPEAT AFTER ME YOU WILL BE INSTANTLY SAVED AND BORN AGAIN.” THESE ARE LIES COMING STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART OF SATAN. THERE IS MUCH WORK TO BE DONE BEFORE SALVATION IS AWARDED. CHRIST’S DEATH PROVIDES THE POWER THAT ENABLES THE TRUE BELIEVER TO DO THE WORK NECESSARY TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE UPON CHRIST’S RETURN. THAT IS BIBLE; WHAT YOU HEAR IN CHURCH IS MAN’S SATAN-INSPIRED DOCTRINES WHICH PAUL CALLED A PERVERSION OF GOD’S TRUE GOSPEL (Gal. 1:6-9) SPREAD BY EACH CHURCH’S FALSE JESUS (2 Cor. 11:40) who proclaims false truths which this website is designed to expose.
How we receive the power to do the works necessary to receive eternal life and how we do those works is the subject of the following posting. This will be one of the most important segments I have ever written. It is vitally important that you study it carefully, believe and obey what you are told. What you will read will be the voice of God as He speaks to you from His Holy Scriptures. The subject of the final posting is in fact the focus of this ministry. If the believer does not know, believe and obey what one reads in the next posting, that believer believes in vain (Mat. 15:8,9). Yes, dear reader, you can worship Jesus and do everything church leaders tell you to do and still be left behind during the first resurrection which will involve only God’s Very Elect saints who will have lived from conversion to death as described in the next posting.
