In 1 John 2:18 the Apostle John warned that there were at that time (90 A.D) many antichrists in the  world and in God’s true church. Then in verse 22 he refers to a singular entity whom he refers to as “he.” This is the Antichrist whom he said would arrive on the world scene in the future. Because this being is the leader of all antichrists, I capitalize his name.

As I previously stated, everything relative to the spirit world comes back to the Word of God. The prefix “anti” means against, contrary to or at war with. The Antichrist is against, contrary to and at war with God’s Word because he knows that His Word must be believed and obeyed in order to receive eternal life. For this reason the Antichrist focuses his efforts on God’s Word/way/Truth/life. Note that Jesus said of Himself that He was THE way, THE Truth and THE life. He also noted in John 17:17 that God’s Word is Truth. As a 100% man, Jesus of Nazareth was God’s gospel/Word/Truth in human form. Before His coming to earth He was called the Word, or spokesman for the Godhead. God spoke to Him, He in turn spoke God’s Words to the prophets and apostles who, having spoken them to the people, recorded them. THE HOLY BIBLE IS GOD’S WORD BY WHICH HE WILL JUDGE ALL WHO HAVE EVER LIVED (Jn. 12:48). GOD, CHRIST AND THEIR WORDS ARE ONE IN THE SAME. THEY ARE HOLY, UNCHANGEABLE AND INSEPERABLE. To reject one of Their Words is to reject both members of the Godhead. The Antichrist’s sole desire is to alter God’s Word in the hearts of believers ever so slightly. Altering a jot or tittle will accomplish his goal. Because the fourth (Sabbath) commandment is the easiest for man to dismiss, the Antichrist has attacked the church through it. For this reason the entirety of professing Christendom observes Satan’s Sunday Sabbath–the day the sun worshipers pay homage to their god. Roman Emperor Constantine first declared the change of the church’s Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. He referred to it as “the venerable (honored) day of the Sun” in 324 A.D. at the Council of Nicea. Pope Sylvester I made it an official church law in 365 A.D. at the Council of Laodicea. The self-professed church has been marching to Satan’s tune ever since. When the so-called Protestants left the Catholic Church they took many of her beliefs and customs with them. The Sunday Sabbath was one of them. For this reason God refers to Protestants as “harlots” who never separated themselves from their Catholic mother whom He refers to as a “whore” (Rev. 17:1-5).

The Antichrist’s workers–false prophets/junior antichrists–remain ignorant of who they are and who they serve because they are the product of their religious upbringing which they were taught not to challenge. This in spite of God’s command to test the spirits of those who minister to us and to prove all things that are attributed to Him (1 Jn. 4:1/1 Thes. 5:21). Like those they deceive, they themselves have been deceived by the master deceiver–Satan–the Antichrist. Those who are deceived do not know they are deceived, otherwise they would not be deceived. Being too lazy, proud or fearful to learn God’s Truth, both the antichrists (false prophets) and their parishioners “know” that they are saved, born again and ready for the rapture. None of which is Biblical. Such is the state of the Counterfeit (Catholic/Protestant) Church that has filled the minds of billions of God seekers with their perverted gospel (Gal. 1:6). As the Apostle Paul stated, they have created “another Jesus” who teaches what they created and programmed him to teach.

I have found that the Words of the Bible have no effect on those who cling to church theology. I have listened to people acknowledge that the Bible is God’s Word, then watch as Satan convinces them to ignore it and follow his church way. This incredible, heart-breaking experience is normally followed by a detailed explanation of how religious they are. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SATAN THE ANTICHRIST. To get an idea of his power do two things: check the local phonebook and count the number of churches listed therein, then check out the Sunday morning t.v. schedule. THE ANTICHRIST HAS INDEED ARRIVED AND HIS FALSE PROPHETS CONTINUE TO BE HARD AT WORK DOING HIS BIDDING. Jesus warned that He would reject those “workers of iniquity” (Lawlessness) who allow the Antichrist to deceive them (Mat. 7:21-27).

Deception, like sin itself, is a personal choice. God identifies sin and righteousness in His Word. First John 3:4 defines sin as “the transgression of the Law.” Righteousness being the opposite of sin, is obedience to the Law. This is the same Law the church claims was nailed to the cross. It is the job of antichrists to convince each God seeker that such church doctrines are superior to God’s Word. The church’s counterfeit Jesus denies most of the Words of God. Both those who teach his false gospel and those who believe it are like tares among wheat. They unwittingly operate under the power of the chief Antichrist as they present themselves to the world as “the church.” They are in fact Satan’s antichrist-led subjects hiding in plain sight. L.J.
