We have laid the Scriptural foundation upon which stands a God-spoken Truth–the Law was not nailed to the cross, nor was it done away with by any other means.  The Ten Commandments, which is a condensed version of the entire Word of God, is as relevant and binding on mankind as it was when God spoke them from atop Mt. Sinai, wrote them on stone and gave them to the House of Israel.  We know from 1 John 3:4 that the Law defines sin.  The apostle Paul confessed that he would not have known what sin was if it had not been for the Law (Rom. 7:7).  The Law, he wrote in Romans 7:12, IS (not was) holy, just and good.  Jesus said that we must prove our love for Him by obeying the commandments, which He equated with His Word in John 14:15,23.  He said in John 15:10 that in order to REMAIN in His love we must obey the commandments, and that He remained in His Father’s love by obeying those same commandments.  JESUS HAD TO OBEY THE LAW IN ORDER TO REMAIN IN GOD’S LOVE.  DOES THIS NOT TELL US SOMETHING?  BECAUSE HE WAS A MAN LIKE ALL OTHER MEN, JESUS HAD TO OBEY THE LAW IN ORDER TO FULFILL HIS COMMISSION AND SPEND ETERNITY WITH GOD.  ARE WE BETTER THAN JESUS CHRIST?  Sinners Saved By Grace (S.S.B.G.) say “Yes.”  They contend that because they believe in Jesus they need not obey God’s Law.  Christ’s belief in God did not negate His requirement to obey the Law.  So how does man’s belief in Jesus negate his requirement to obey the Law that Jesus had to obey?

Man is required to live (“walk”) this life as Jesus lived His life–under the direction and power of the Holy Spirit.  We are commanded to “walk as He walked” (1 Jn. 2:6).  Jesus walked (lived–fulfilled) God’s Law perfectly.  Those who would live with Him eternally must live as He lived.  We are told from pulpit and podium that He lied about that, that He instructed His apostles to lie about it in speech and script.  He said that our eternal lives depended on our obedience to God’s Law.  WHY DID HE LIE ABOUT IT?  WHO TELLS CHURCHMAN THAT GOD, CHRIST, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE APOSTLES TO SPREAD THAT LIE? 

To answer that question we must return to the Garden of Eden where Satan convinced Adam and Eve that God’s Law was no longer in effect, that they could sin and not die.  He convinced them that they could rebel against God, reject His Law and do as they pleased and they would “… NOT surely die.”  They assumed that God would not hold them accountable for sin.  Notice that Satan did not tell them that it was okay to disobey God, rather that God would do nothing about it, that His threat of death was merely a scare tactic, that He would not do what He said He would do.  By assuming that mind-set, man did away with God’s Law.  Later it would be referred to as His nailing it to the cross.

In that sin is defined by God as the breaking of His Law, by doing away with God’s Law man has done away with sin.  But this is too much of a stretch even for sin-adducted church people who know that if there is no sin there is no need for a Savior.  The entire Christian religion is based on the fact that man has sinned (Rom. 3:23) and therefore is in need of a Savior.  Therefore, sin had to exist.  But they would define what sin is.  That issue settled, there had to be a way to get away with sinning.  Enter GRACE.  They would use God’s grace to turn their sin into righteousness.  Christ’s death would affect the miraculous transformation of Lawlessness to righteousness.  Therefore, when God looked on their sins He would see only Christ’s righteousness.  This is the Satanic message preached by his false prophets to this day.

The Apostle Jude warned the church about turning grace into a license to sin: “Certain men have risen up in  the church who are ordained to condemnation.  These ungodly men turn the grace of our God in to lasciviousness, thereby denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Nothing has changed in the past 2000 years.  Men continue to deny God and Christ Their rightful place of rulership over them.  Ungodly men continue to preach that God’s grace gives church people the right to sin without fear of divine retribution.  As one preacher said, “God can’t see through the blood.”  In other words, Jesus slathers His blood over man’s continuous sins as soon as he repents.  Repentance supposedly turns sin into righteousness.  NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SATAN.  Anyone who can convince billions of people that the God they believe has saved them is the most prolific liar in the history of lying is indeed powerful.  Using the Words of God, I have shown people that they are accusing God and Christ of lying and are denying them Lordship over their lives, only to watched them double down on Satan’s “truth.”  Without exception they cling to the “fact” that Christ’s death awarded them carte blanc grace–a license to sin continuously with impunity.  According to the, rebellion against the Godhead is a right Jesus awarded them by dying.

Having dealt with the spiritual ancestors of today’s S.S.B.G., Paul asks the modern church the ultimate question: “Shall we continue to sin (break God’s Law) so that God can display His grace?” (Rom. 6:1).  His answer: “GOD FORBID.”  God forbids His people to even think such a Satanic thought.  “But Colossians 2:14 tells us that God did away with the Law by nailing it to the cross,” is the familiar response to the fine print of His Word.  As stated in the first posting, this is the premier passage upon which the whole of professing Christendom hangs its sin-excusing hat.  Satan has twisted Colossians 2:14 to mean the exact opposite of the Lord’s intent.  In the following posting we will examine this most maligned, misunderstood and deliberately twisted verse with eyes to see and a heart to believe what God is telling us through His the Apostle Paul.  L.J.
