As I have made clear in previous postings, GOD IS AN ELITIST, A SEGREGATIONIST, AN UNYIELDING, DIVISIVE PERFECTIONIST WHOSE MOTTO IS: “MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY.” Few, Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:13,14, choose His way. Those who refuse to follow His commands in letter and spirit are HIS ENEMIES as He noted in Matthew 10:34-36: “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth (between people). I did not come to bring peace, but (rather) a SWORD. I have come to set a man AGAINST his father, a daughter AGAINST her mother, and a daughter-in-law AGAINST her mother-in-law, and a man’s (worst) enemies will be those of his own household (family).” In that one’s WORST enemies will be his family, there must be more enemies outside his family. One thing separates God’s people from the rest of the world and makes them enemies–HIS WORD–which He calls the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT (Eph. 6:18) which is depicted as coming out of His mouth in Revelation 19:21. Simply put, those who refuse to believe and obey the Holy Scriptures are the enemies of God, Christ and His brethren whom He calls His saints, His Very Elect, His remnant, His little flock. The other 99% of humanity does not belong to Him. They are what Jesus called the Canaanite (Gentile/heathen) woman– “dogs” (Mat. 7:6; 15:26). When told that His brethren wanted to speak to Him, Jesus identified His brethren as (only) those who “… do the will of My Father in heaven ….” (Mat. 12:49,50). God’s Word is His Will. In John 15:13,14 Jesus makes an even more divisive statement when He said that He would die for His friends. He then identified His friends as (only) those who “… DO WHATSOEVER I COMMAND YOU.”
GOD IS AN ELITIST WHO DEMANDS STRICT SPIRITUAL SEGREGATION BETWEEN HIS TRUE SAINTS AND THE REST OF THE WORLD. He made this abundantly clear in 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-18; 7:1) as noted in the previous posting. Note that in 7:1 that the Apostle Paul says: ” … let US (the church, Paul included) cleanse ourselves of ALL SIN by perfecting (personal) holiness in the fear of God.” This can be done only by segregation. One cannot wallow with swine and be clean no matter how many times one goes to church, prays, fasts, studies the Scriptures, tithes, etc. One cannot sleep with dogs and not get fleas. For this reason Jesus prayed that God would SANCTIFY the disciples BY HIS WORD (Jn. 17:17). To be sanctified means to be spiritually separated (from sinners) by one’s holiness so that the difference is unmistakable. The difference between those who obey God’s Word and those who do not is the difference between light and darkness–life and death. Even a child can tell the difference. The irony is that the church has them reversed. She calls good (light/life) evil (darkness/death) and evil good. The Prophet Isaiah (5:20) faced the same problem in his day and pronounced God’s woe on those who commit such atrocities then and now.
Is Scriptural-level holiness actually necessary for one to receive salvation at the return of Jesus Christ? Romans 6:22 tells us that the END RESULT OF HOLINESS is salvation, and that persecution for living in holiness is guaranteed. This is brought out graphically by Jesus Himself in Matthew 10:21,22: “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father (will deliver up) his child, and children will rise up against their parents to (cause them to be) put to death, and you (God’s holy saints) will be hated by all (of mankind) for My name’s sake. But he who ENDURES TO THE END (OF LIFE OR THE AGE) WILL (THEN) BE SAVED.”
Why would cause familiy members to turn on each other? Holiness, which is light that illuminates darkness. Some contend that Jesus was speaking only to the 12 disciples. These men were to teach others how to live as Jesus taught them to live, and to do so openly. True saints will follow in their (the apostles’) spiritual footsteps as they follow in Christ’s footsteps. JESUS WAS SPEAKING TO ANY AND ALL WHO WOULD OBEY HIS WORDS. Millions of true saints have been martyred for living holy lives. As Paul wrote: “ALL who will LIVE GODLY in Christ Jesus WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION” (2 Tim. 3:12). If one is not persecuted for his belief in and obedience to God’s pure Word, one is not His child. Many are persecuted, some even killed, for their stand for the church’s version of Christ. This is not true Christian martyrdom. These people have been deceived into believing that the church’s perverted gospel is God’s Truth, that the church’s god is the true god and the church’s christ is the true Christ. These unfortunate dupes, like all Catholics and Protestants, believed “a (the) lie” (2 Thes. 2:11). “The lie” embraced by the whole of professing Christendom is that Satan is God, that his word is truth, and the salvation they supposedly have is true salvation. But what does God say? And does it matter?
In 2 Corinthians 7:1 Paul admonishes us to “cleanse ourselves of all sin in the fear of God.” THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE IF SIN IS AN INHERITED (NATURAL) PART OF OUR LIVES. We cannot change our eye color because it is an inherited (natural) part of our lives. Likewise, the Lord’s command in 2 Corinthians 7:1 is impossible to obey if sin is in our spiritual dna at conception. “Come, let us reason together” says the Lord in Isaiah 1:18. To expect us to change our nature is an unreasonable command. GOD IS NOT UNREASONABLE. Would Jesus have commanded the prostitute and the man at Bethesda to “Go and sin no more” if sin was natural to them? WOULD HE , HAVING MADE THEM, OR ALLOWED THEM TO BE MADE, SINNERS BY NATURE, THEN COMMAND THEM NOT TO SIN–TO DO WHAT THEIR VERY NATURE DICTATED? The man at Bethesda later confessed that he did not know who Jesus was (Jn. 5:10-15). There is no indication that the woman did either. Yet He told them to STOP SINNING. Which is exactly what He tells us. This we must do immediately and permanently if we are to have any hope of receiving eternal life. As we are told in Titus 1:2, in this life we have “the HOPE of salvation,” not the guarantee (Mat. 10:21,22). We are guaranteed eternal life ONLY IF WE OBEY GOD UNTIL THE END–THUS SAYS JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. The church says this is heresy. In other words, Jesus Christ is a heretic. L.J.
