The Holy Spirit is missing within the Institutional (Catholic/Protestant) Church System.  Borrowing from the military world, the Holy Spirit is AWOL–Absent Without Leave.  God never intended for His power to be shut off from those who call themselves by His name, commonly miss-named “the church,” which God rejects outright and from which He has “hidden His face.”  He warned that this would be the case through the Prophet Isaiah (59:2): “Your sins have separated you from your God and He has hidden His face from you.”  Nothing has changed.  Sinners saved by grace have separated themselves from God, causing Him to turn His face from them.  And yet they pray to Him and ask Him for His blessings.  Human experience proves that He neither hears them nor sees them.  The only difference between SSBG and the world they embrace is a Sunday morning ritual.

Again borrowing from military jargon, God is MIA relative to “the church.”  He is Missing In Action in that He is in action elsewhere.  He is doing what He promised to do, but is doing it outside the Institutional Catholic/Protestant Church System where He has been declared “person non grata”–A PERSON NOT WELCOMED.  THE CHURCH DOES NOT BELIEVE GOD AND THEREBY DESPISES HIM.  Jesus made this clear in Luke 10:16 where He declared that to reject any part of God’s Word/Law/Truth/Gospel proves that one DESPISES BOTH HIMSELF AND HIS FATHER.  THE CHURCH DESPISES THE GODHEAD.

As the previous posting revealed, neither God Himself nor His Son reside within the believer.  They are within the true saint in the form of Their Holy Spirit.  Sin (iniquity–Lawlessness) causes Them to remove Their Spirit from the sinning believer.  This places him/her in a situation in which he/she has faith (belief) that doesn’t work.  This is what God calls “dead faith” in James 2:10,14,17,18,20,24,26.  Just as a muscle atrophies (shrinks) from lack of use, faith loses power from lack of works–obedience to God’s Word, which is the basis of faith (Rom. 10:19).  FAITH IS TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD. If one does not obey God’s Word by the power of the Holy Spirit his faith becomes “dead.”  He has faith, but there is no power behind it.  Like his churched counterpart,  Satan has faith but does not have the Holy Spirit.  Believing without the Holy Spirit places the believer in the same category as Satan.  They are kindred spirits.  Romans 14:23 tells us that “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”  Church people reject the basis of faith–the Word of God.  Therefore, they live in sin, which separates them from God.

Sickness is a curse caused by sin.  Prayer for healing mixed with sin is useless, having no living faith behind it.  The combination of sin, dead (non-working) faith and prayer that cannot penetrate an iron heaven (Lev. 26:19) results in unanswered prayer.  Two and one/half billion believing church members reject this Truth.  Sinners saved by grace continue to pray and believe, yet their prayers go unanswered.  They are no different from the unchurched.  Their explanation: “That’s just the way it is.”  Which is true.  The question is: WHY IS THAT “JUST THE WAY IT IS?”   God answers loudly and clearly.  The problem is that church people reject His answer.  Nothing changes.  Church prayers go unanswered, which surprises no one, including them.  Therefore churchman goes to the world for help.  He expects nothing and gets exactly what he expects.  Why?  BECAUSE HE DOES NOT BELIEVE GOD’S WORD. 

When the Spirit-filled believer sins God removes His Sprit from the sinner, leaving him/her operating under his/her own power.  Without God’s Spirit, we are no match for Satan.  The most famous example of this Truth was King David.  Following his being confronted by the Prophet Nathan because of his sins, David repented deeply and honestly.  Knowing the effects of sin, he begged the Lord: “… please do not take your Spirit from me” (Ps. 51:11).  This giant slayer knew he was in trouble.  In Psalm 143:7 he asks the Lord not to: “… turn Your face from me.”  David knew that, without God’s Spirit abiding within him, he was no different from any other man–HELPLESS.

For this reason the prayers of billions of church people go unanswered, even though they believe the “headlines” in God’s Word such as, “I am your God Who heals you.”  Because of their refusal to learn, believe and obey His “fine print,” His promise of Exodus 15:26 does not apply to them.  They are not taught this by their leaders.  As a result, everyone knows and believes God’s promise of Exodus 15:26–a “headline”–but rejects out of hand Psalm 103:3 where God reveals that sin is the cause of man’s many problems, and that forgiveness of one’s sins brings about the healing/solving of those problems.  They have faith, but it does not work for them.  As I have said and written so many times, God explains these Truths in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.

“But that’s Old Testament,” is the noise heard coming from church people whose prayers are never answered.  However, the Apostle Paul declared that the New Testament Church was founded on the teachings of the PROPHETS and the apostles (Eph. 2:20).  Because the New Testament did not exist during the ministries of the apostles, they used the Old Testament Scriptures as their source of God’s Truth.

Concerning the connection between sin, sickness, forgiveness and healing, Jesus of Nazareth made it clear that they go hand-in-hand (Mat. 9:1-8).  In this episode He heals a man by forgiving his sins.  Questioned about this Truth,  Jesus made it clear that the man’s sickness was caused by his sins, and that forgiveness of his sins had resulted in his healing.  The sin-sickness/forgiveness-healing connection is made perfectly clear.

Religious people do not believe what Jesus said.  Therefore they must come up with a reason why their prayers for healing going unanswered.  The most common excuse is as follows: because of Adam’s sin transferral miracle, human beings become sinners at conception.  Sin is therefore “natural.”  Sickness is also “natural.”  Man, we are told, cannot change or affect “nature.”  Therefore, the sin-sickness/forgiveness-healing theory cannot be true.  And when Jesus told the man at the pool at Bethesda to “Sin no more, LEST A WORSE THING (SICKNESS) COME UPON YOU,” He did not mean it.  Everyone knows that the man’s natural sinfulness had nothing to do with his natural sickness, and that Christ’s forgiveness of his sin had nothing to do with his healing.  After all, God gave man drugs, needles, scalpels, the ability to remove body parts and replace them with man-made parts, etc.   Everyone knows that sin and sickness are “natural” in human beings.  Church consensus holds that prayer is okay, but one shouldn’t expect anything to change because of it.  Therefore, the common sense thing to do is to buy good health insurance, which God arranged to be available.  In short: GOD IS NO LONGER IN THE HEALING BUSINESS.  THAT’S WHY HE GAVE US MEDICAL SCIENCE AND INSURANCE.  One should not pray for direct healing.  One should pray that God will “direct the hands” of the doctor who is slicing and dicing one’s body and filling it with drugs, which God has also provided.  But all must realize that, though ordained by God, the process doesn’t always work.  The message emanating from within the church is clear:  GOD IS NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF HEALING OF THE BODY AND MIND OF CHURCHMAN.  He gave him science instead.

The church has rejected the Spirit of God.  In so doing SHE HAS REJECTED THE POWER HE USES TO DO WHAT HE PROMISED TO DO, which is why He does not do what He promised to do.  Two of His promises involve the healing of the church sinner’s body and mind.

In rejecting God’s Holy Spirit, believers have shut of the method by which God reveals WHY their bodies and minds are repeatedly in need of healing.  For this reason they do not understand that sickness, etc. has a direct cause–sin.  Sickness, as well as other “natural” problems are in fact curses.  God said that “There is no curse without a cause” (Prov. 26:2).  That cause is sin.  Sin is the breaking God’s Law (1 Jn. 3:4).  To break one commandment in the Law is to break the entire Law (Jam. 2:10).  The 4th commandment involves God’s 7th day Sabbath which we call Saturday.  I have a question for all suffering church people: what day is your sabbath?  The cause of churchman’s problems is now identified.  Now what?  L.J.
