In First John 3:4 the Lord, through the apostle, warns all who would seek to join Him in paradise that: “TO TRANSGRESS (BREAK) THE LAW IS SIN; FOR SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.” Sin, we are told in Isaiah 59:2, “SEPERATES US FROM OUR GOD.” Romans 6:23 informs us that THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH. There are two types of death: SPIRITUAL DEATH IN THIS LIFE AND PHYSICAL DEATH ON JUDGMENT DAY. Contrary to church opinion: JESUS DID NOT DIE SO THAT WE COULD RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF OUR INEVITABLE (ADAM-CAUSED) SINS. HE DIED SO THAT WE COULD, UPON TRUE CONVERSION, RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHICH ENABLES US TO OVERCOME SATAN’S TEMPTATIONS TO SIN, THEREBY ENABLING US TO JOIN JESUS IN THE FUTURE.

This Truth is brought out by the Lord Himself in Revelation 3:21 where He tells us that only those who overcome (Satan’s temptations) EVEN AS HE OVERCAME THEM will join Him on His throne in paradise. Notice that He did not say that those who repented following each inevitable sin would join Him. In Luke 10:19 the Lord says to true converts (Law-keepers): “Behold, I give you power over all the power of the enemy.” That is the power by which Truth seekers overcome the enemy’s temptations to go with the religious flow of the Institutional Catholic/Protestant Church. This teaching will focus on the #1 sin that Satan uses to separate church people from God, thereby removing from them the possibility of salvation upon Christ’s return. As a result, they will not rise to meet Christ in the air during the First Resurrection–the Resurrection of the Firstfruits. Read The Three Resurrections. Key word–Three. Now back to First John.

As stated, Satan’s most effective sin by which he has captured the vast majority within professing Christendom is commandment #4–His 7th day (Saturday) Sabbath. The change from His 7th day Sabbath to Satan’s 1st day sabbath came about in 364 A.D. at the Council at Laodicea when Pope Sylvester I proclaimed that, from that day onward, the church would observe her sabbath on Sunday–the day sun worshippers paid homage to their god–the sun. Sun-day was known as The Day of the Venerable (Holy) Sun. He affected the change in order to appease the numerous sun worshippers whom the Roman Empire had forced to join the Catholic Church. Read Simon of Samaria. Key word–Simon. The home page of this website lists a number of heathen beliefs and customs that the church has borrowed from Babylonian mystery religions. Recall that Jesus told the heathen woman at the well: “You do not know whom you worship” (Jn. 4:22). The church emulates her by unknowingly worshiping the sun. Admittedly, as an ignorant churchite long ago, I attended Easter Sunrise Services during which I ignorantly paid homage to the rising sun. Thankfully, God forgave that great sin, along with many more.

For this teaching we will begin by going to Romans 2:23,24 where Law-breakers in the church are told that by breaking God’s Ten Commandment Law they were “DISHONORING GOD” and “BLASPHEMING HIS NAME.” We could end this series at this point and the message would be perfectly clear–LAW (SABBATH) BREAKERS ARE NOT GOD’S CHILDREN, NO MATTHER HOW RELIGEOUS THEY MAY BE. I have personally dealt with two people whom the Lord had instructed me tell them personally about His 7th day Sabbath. They both rejected what I told them. They both died shortly thereafter. In both cases, their relatives told me that doctors could find no medical reason for their deaths. Also, God had told me before their deaths that He would kill both of them because they rejected His Holy Sabbath. Both were pillars of their respective churches. Again: THEY BOTH REJECTED GOD’S SABBATH, THE DAY OF THE WEEK HE “BLESSED” AND “SANCTFIED” AND CALLED “MY HOLY DAY, THE HOLY OF THE LORD” (Gen. 2:2,3/ Isa. 58:13).

The device Satan uses to deceive 2.5 billion churchites today is THE LIE that consists of accepting Jesus as one’s Savior and completing a prescribed ritual which supposedly results in instant salvation. If we can take God at His Word, that process plays no part in The Salvation Process. Read the series using the key word Process. There is one Word that has EVERYTHING to do with man’s relationship with the divine Father and Son. That Word is “LORD.” IF JESUS IS NOT OUR LORD (ABSULUTE MASTER) IN THIS LIFE, HE WILL NOT BE OUR SAVIOR AT THE END OF IT.

When the word “lord” refers to a human being, it identifies one whose word is law and whose law must be obeyed. If one does not obey his lord’s word/law, then that lord is his lord in name only. In every instance in which a true human lordship has ever existed, the lord has life and death power over his subjects. In today’s world, Communism allows the supreme leader to maintain a lordship position over the people–his subjects. Two modern-day examples of that kind of lordship are Russia and North Korea. There might be others but they are not as well known.

A lord does not ask for people to obey his suggestions, he RULES his subjects with a proverbial “iron fist.” The only options to such a lord’s command is either to obey and live, or disobey and suffer the consequences, which often involves death. A true lord does not allow anyone to dishonor him or blaspheme his name. By virtue of the fact that 99% of professing Christianity rejects, disobeys and openly flaunts their defiance of God’s Sabbath Law proves that HE IS NOT THEIR LORD. However, they do use the Word in order to appear to be His disciples. They do not view Him as their Lord, but only as their Savior who does not require obedience. He is supposedly content to be known as their Savior. Professing Christendom has made Jesus their celestial “gofer” and sin-enabler.

God speaks to the church’s Lord versus Savior conflict in Romans 2:6-11 where He tells us through Paul that there are only two ways to live (Biblical “walk”) during this life. We are either walking with Him or against Him (Amos 3:3). In Matthew 12:30 Jesus declares: “He that is not with Me is against Me. He who does not gather with me, scatters from Me.” Relative to gathering and scattering, His Ten Commandment Law is the deciding factor. We are our brother’s keepers (examples). We are either setting the right example by obeying God’s Law, or we are not. We reveal our relationship with Him by our “doings”/ “deeds” (works–read James 2). As the Apostle Paul says, our lives either reflect “doings” that are in obedience to His Law, or the opposite. One type of “doing” involves unrighteousness which results in wrath, tribulation and anguish from the Lord. The other type of “doing” involves righteousness which results in glory, honor and peace from Him. This is the one who “works what is good” (Rom. 2:10). As both Lord and King, God determines what is “good.” Adam, Eve and their religious offspring disagree, claiming the authority to make those determinations for themselves. Read Christ’s response to them in Matthew 15:8,9. “In vain” means that all of their religiosity and churchivity is for NOTHING.

It all comes down to God’s Lordship/rule over one’s life–or the lack thereof. The Biblical God rules His people. The god of this world ruses everyone else (2 Cor. 4:4). God rules His disciples by His Law. Those who obey it, including commandment #4, are promised blessings, glory and honor. All others will receive the opposite treatment. Read Deuteronomy 28. Notice that the deciding factor relative to receiving blessings or cursings is obedience to the Law, as is commanded in verse 1. Verse 15 paints the opposite picture if we disobey that Law.

James 2:10 the Lord, through the apostle, warns us that to break one commandment (# 4 for example) is to break the entire Law. Jesus tells us that to break (transgress) God’s Law makes one a worker of INIQUITY, which means LAWLESSNESS. In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus tells us that on Judgment Day HE WILL REJECT ALL WORKERS OF INIQUITY. Notice that those whom He will reject will call Him their Lord and will have preached, will have cast out demons and will have done many marvelous works in his name. Nevertheless, He will say to them: “I NEVER KNEW YOU.“

As an indication of God’s view of Jesus being salvation seekers’ Savior as apposed to His being their Lord, numbers make a powerful statement. Doing a detailed count, I found that He instructed His New Testament writers use the Word “SAVIOR” a total of 60 times. However, they used the Word “LORD” over 600 times. That verifiable fact alone tells us something. The question is: ARE WE LISTENING? L.J.
