The Beast that the Apostle John saw which would force the world into the Great Tribulation is now forming in Europe.  It is called the European Union which occupies and controls the same area that the 9th horn (government) occupied and controlled before its defeat (“death”) in 1945.  This is the same area that the 9 Beasts that have come and gone occupied and controlled for thousands of years.  The same Beast, now “dead,” is about to be “resurrected” for the 10th time by the same church system that brought it back to life 9 times before–the Catholic Church, aka “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abomination of the earth” (Rev. 17:5).  She is the Great Whore (vs 1) who has influenced many nations (vs 2-4) over the centuries, who has spilled the blood of the saints and will do so again (vs 6) during the Tribulation.  Note: Catholicism is the official religion of the European Union as dictated by her constitution.  This brings us to the “image of the Beast” which the false prophet (second beast) and his one-world church will force everyone to worship during the Tribulation.  THE EUROPEAN UNION IS THE 10TH RESURRECTION OF THE ANCIENT ROMAN EMPIRE.  So what is the Beast’s image?

In Revelation 13:14-17 we are told that the leader of the two-horned (government and religious) beast will force all people to bear the “mark” of the Beast and to worship its “image.”  We will identify the Beast’s “mark” or “sign” in the following posting.  Dictionaries define an image as a likeness, copy, representation, model, semblance of something else.  The image of the Beast that the false prophet will force the world to worship is a likeness of the governmental organization of the ancient Roman Empire.  According to historical record, Leo I was the first pope (440-461).  He was greatly impressed by the Roman Empire’s organizational structure and set about redesigning the hierarchy of the Catholic Church into the exact image of the Beast’s organizational structure, thereby creating the papacy with its descending levels of power and authority.  This structure has not changed.  THE ORGANIZATION OF THE MODERN CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE THE FIFTH CENTURY.  A time is coming when all the world will be forced to live under the iron fist of the 10th Beast (horn) and will be required to WORSHIP THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST.  THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WHICH WILL BE THE ONLY CHURCH IN EXISTANCE DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION.  God’s tiny church will be the only exception.  The church of that day will be comprised of all people of all religions, including Christianity, which will be forced by the Beast government to become Catholic.  THE MOTHER WHORE (CATHOLIC CHURCH) WILL FORCE HER HARLOT DAUGHTERS (PROTESTANTS) TO RETURN TO HER.  Read The Ingathering: The Rise of the End-time Church.  Use the key word “Ingathering.”  That series shows that the Protestant Churches are already reaching out to the Catholic Church in order to gain acceptance.  The mother’s wayward chicks are beginning to congregate under her wings.  God’s people will not be affected by what is happening as they will be in their place of safety.

Anciently the people in the Roman Empire were forced to worship not only the Beast but the Catholic Church as well.  The so-called Protestant Reformation did nothing to change the character of the those who left her in “protest.”  As I stated before, their departure had nothing to do with church’s heathen beliefs and practices.  The “Protestants” were protesting against the personal activities of the priests, not the church’s doctrines, most of which they took with them upon their departure.  Ancient prophecy foretold that the harlot daughters (Protestant Churches) would one day return to their whorish mother–Mystery, Babylon the Great.  The return of the whore’s harlot daughters to their mother’s fold began many years ago.  The Apostle Paul saw it happening in the mid-50’s A.D.  In 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 he warned God’s saints in the church at Corinth about that situation.  He told them to “come out from among them (Catholics) and be separate,” to “touch not that unclean thing.'”  Paul adamantly commanded God’s people to separate from that institution so that they would not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.  Why?  Because there could be no fellowship between righteousness and unrighteousness, light and darkness, Christ and Satan, believers and infidels, the temple of God (true saints) and idols.  Paul warned the saints that only if they departed from Satan’s church would God be their God and they would be His people.  To be His people they had to “cleanse themselves of all the filthiness” of that Beast church … by “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

If you are in any way connected to Catholicism or Protestantism you are serving the god of that religious system–Satan.  What is called “the church” today is in reality the citadel of Satan into which you have been lured by his false prophets.  This includes parents, grandparents, preachers, friends, etc.  These unwitting souls have also been deceived by those who were themselves deceived by other servants of Satan.  Those who don’t know don’t know that they don’t know.  So-called “Christians” have been worshiping, serving and obeying Satan since the time of the early church.  The apostles knew this, which is why they issued so many warnings to the churches during their time of ministry.  Following their deaths the church gradually weakened and gave in to pressure to believe and obey what Satan’s people were telling them.  They “counted the cost” of service to God and decided not to pay it.  Only a few very tough souls refused to go along with “the church.”  Millions of them paid for their choice with their lives.  The same thing will happen in the near future.  These will be those who, during the Tribulation, will see the light, embrace Christ and will be martyred.

God has promised to take His “little flock,” His tiny “remnant,” His “Very Elect” to a place of safety when the Beast raises its ugly head and sinks the world into the Great Tribulation.  Following 2 1/2 years of unimaginable terror God Himself will punish the Great (Catholic) Whore and her Harlot (Protestant) Daughters for their rejection of Him.  Joel calls this one year period of God’s outpoured wrath “the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.”  If you are part of the devil’s Catholic/Protestant religious system, “COME OUT OF HER,” embrace and obey God’s Law.  Otherwise you will be cast into the Great Tribulation.  If you should be converted during that time it will cost you your life.  L.J.
