The Apostle Paul And The Law: Satan’s Power Demonstrated (Pt. 1)

Never underestimate Satan’s power over and control of professing Christendom, as well as all other false religions.  Those trapped in his religious conglomerate do not know the god they worship and serve and who fills their hearts/minds with false theology geared to confirm the legitimacy of them whatever religion one is involved in.  As Jesus told the woman at the Samarian well, “You know not whom you worship.”  She had just told Him how she and her people worshiped the true God.  Over two billion people today worship the same god she worshiped and for the same reason–tradition based on Satan’s counterfeit “truths” presented as God’s Scriptural Truth.  False religion reared its ugly head in the church not long after her founding.  Since then “church doctrine” has won the truth war hands down.  Today, Satan’s church outnumbers God’s church millions to one.

Truth seekers are not surprised by the devil’s control over professing Christendom, for Jesus warned that this would be the case in Matthew 7:13,14 and 22:14.  One powerful entity has orchestrated this entire counterfeit church fiasco–Satan–whom the Apostle Paul called “the prince of the powers of the air” (Eph. 2:2) and “the god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4).  Ironically, many Bible owners do not believe he exists, this in spite of the many times he is mentioned in the tome they claim is God’s Word which guarantees them eternal life in paradise for simply believing in its Author.  Like church people, Satan believes in its author.  Unlike church people he believes what its Author said.  His problem, like theirs, is lack of obedience.

Due to the rejection of most of God’s Word, billions of church people have been brainwashed by His enemy into worshiping and serving him, all the while believing that they are carrying the torch for the God of the Holy Scriptures.  How did this happen?  How could this tragedy have happened to billions of people over so many generations?  The answer will be brought to light in this series.  The entire presentation can be summed up in one short phrase that is THE FOUNDATIONAL “TRUTH” UPON WHICH THE INSTITUTIONAL CHURCH STANDS: “THE LAW WAS NAILED TO THE CROSS.”  Because the counterfeit church “knows” this is true, Satan does not need to do anything else to maintain his dictatorial rulership over that which calls itself “Christianity.”  To address the church’s unquestioned “truth” relative to Law, we will look at the two books of the Bible (Galatians and Romans) which the church points to in order to “prove” that God’s Law (the entire Old Testament) was cast into the dustbin of church history.  When someone has the temerity to bring up God’s Law the immediate and forceful response concerns the speaker’s need to read the Book of Romans which, he is told in no uncertain terms, will “prove” that the Law plays no part in the New Testament Church.  Which is true, because she is not God’s church and her people are not His people.  If, at the conclusion of this series, you do not know for certain that the Law plays THE DOMINANT ROLE in the life of a true Christian and must be obeyed in order to be saved, please email me and explain why.  I will entertain only Scriptural reasons.  Church doctrine is meaningless.  My email address is LPJ4142@gmail.com

We will begin our study with Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia.  We will study his letter to the Romans later.  However, for clarity is will explain God’s definition of JUSTIFICATION as revealed in Romans 3:25:  Justification is His total forgiveness of each of the repentant sinner’s PAST sins.  As Paul’s writings will reveal, at the point in time when all sins are removed the justified one is declared “HOLY.”  Holiness is defined as being without sin.  At the point of justification, one is without sin.  As Jesus told the prostitute whom He had justified: “Go and SIN NO MORE” (Jn. 8:11).  Sin removes the Holy Spirit from the sinning church person, thereby separating him/her from God (Isa. 58:2).  Having been in that situation, I can assure the reader that there is nothing worse than being separated from God.  Verily I say unto you, if you are truly converted and have God’s Holy Spirit living within you, the removal of that Spirit is the worst thing that can happen to you.  So indeed, “Go and sin no more.”  If you have not been truly converted and have not received the Holy Spirit, beseech God to convert you and fill you with His Spirit.  As this series will prove, obedience to God’s Law is commanded of the one who has received justification and has been truly converted.  To “Go and sin no more” is not an option.  The holy one must now “walk as Jesus walked” (1 Jn. 2:6).  Failures will happen, but they should become fewer and farther between over time until one “comes to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13), then walk (live life) accordingly.  Warning: conversion changes everything about your life–“old things must pass away, behold, ALL THINGS MUST BE MADE NEW” (2 Cor. 5:17).  Be prepared to be rejected by your family, friends and former churchmates.  Above all, do not return to your church.  It is better to be alone with Christ than to return to Satan’s citadel of sin.

The seminal problem faced by the whole of Catholicism/Protestantism relative to the message found in the books under consideration, everyone assumes that Paul is telling the people how to receive salvation.  This is totally wrong.  An honest study of the epistle reveals that Paul is teaching the people how to receive JUSTIFICATION–NOT SALVATION.  THE WORD “SALVATION” DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE BOOK OF GALATIANS.  In His letter to the church at Rome, he mentions JUSTIFICATION 21 times in the first eight chapters and SALVATION 12 times.  Salvation is mentioned as a future event for those who have been justified, provided they retain their justification and conversion until the end of their lives (Mat. 10:22).  The subject of the two letters concerns salvation only in the sense that one must be JUSTIFIED before one can be converted.  Then one must retain one’s JUSTIFICATION and CONVERSION until the end of one’s life in order to be saved at the return of Jesus Christ to earth.  Read The Salvation Process and Hope and Salvation.  Key words- Process and Hope respectively.  Also read Romans 5:21; 6:22 and Matthew 10:22.

The other problem church people have with Paul’s teaching involves God’s two laws and which Law he is referring to each time he mentions the Law.  People have remained confused because of a lack of open-minded, Truth-seeking, I-will-believe-and-obey-what-God-says-in-the-holy-Scriptures-no-matter-what type of Bible study.  Without such an intensive desire for God’s Truth one will see what one wants to see, which is invariably what one has always been told.  That attitude, combined with the unquestioned “truth” that “faith is all you need to be saved,” it is understandable why church people know so very little about God’s Word.  Everyone can recite God’s Biblical “headlines,” but only a minutely few know the “fine print” surrounding those “headlines.”  God commissioned me to learn His “fine print” and declare it.  It is no surprise that my message is rejected by the church masses.  Honesty and humility are necessary in order to learn and embrace God’s Truth.  Those virtues are in extremely short supply among the people I deal with personally.

In Paul’s epistle to the Galatian churches we learn that serious problems had arisen.  Certain people in the churches were leading others to seek justification by either returning to the sacrificial law that required the blood of animals, or to return to the laws they had been under before coming to Christ.  We will examine some of those laws in this series.

This series is of utmost importance because one must understand God’s two laws and which law Paul is referring to each time he mentions the law.  This study will take “fine print” study to a new level.  As I have said, God’s “fine print” separates sheep from goats, wheat from tares, contenders from pretenders.  Gird your loins, you are about to learn Bible Truths you will not learn in church.  Sheep, wheat and contenders will praise God for what they will learn.  Goats, tares and pretenders will reject it.  Feel free to email me if you have questions or comments.  L.J.
