The following definitions are gleaned from the Holy Scriptures as spoken and written by holy men of old who operated under the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

Biological Gentile: one who is not a biological Israelite. Spiritual Gentile–one (Israelite or Gentile) who does not believe and obey the Holy Bible. Biological Israelite–one who is of the 12 tribes of Israel. Spiritual Israelite–one (Israelite or Gentile) who believes and obeys the Holy Bible. With these definitions/characterizations in mind, let us examine the Gentile spiritual condition in order to determine how those who suffer from spiritual Gentilism are discussed in God’s Holy Word.

In various places throughout the inspired Scriptures the Almighty has told us that spiritual Gentiles will not enter His kingdom due to their rejection of His Spirit-inspired Word. Note: to reject even on of His Words is to reject all of His Words; no part of His Bible is to be altered in any way. Recall that the Serpent’s addition of one tiny word–“not”–to Eve’s statement found in Genesis 3:3: “… lest you (I) die” changed the world (Gen. 3:4–“You shall NOT surely die”).  In John 4:24 we are told that those who worship God must do so in (through His Holy) SPIRIT AND TRUTH. Truth, He tells us, is another name for His Word (the Bible)–John 17:17. As a man Jesus was (and still is) God’s Word (John 1:1-4,14), His Truth (Jn. 14:6) and His life (1 Jn. 1:2). Because the above is spiritually discerned, the carnal (Gentile) mind cannot comprehend it (1 Cor. 2:14). While on earth as a human being Jesus was the Word of God incarnate. The Words He spoke came to Him directly from the Father. Therefore, to deny, doubt or change His Word is to deny (“despise”) both members of the Godhead (Lk. 10:26/Titus 1:16), making one “abominable,” “disobedient,” and a “reprobate.” Because such a sinner is separated from Him (Isa. 59:2), he/she is incapable of doing anything good even though he/she outwardly appears to be one with Him (Rev. 3:14-20). This renders the religionist incapable of obeying His Words which is necessary in order to receiving eternal life (Mk. 10:17/Jn. 6:68).

Anyone familiar with modern day Catholicism/Protestantism can readily see the correlation between what is written above and the religious institution known as “the church” today. Those who study the Bible for God’s Truth know that His letters to the seven churches scattered throughout Asia Minor (Rev. 1-3) foretold the spiritual future of the coming church eras from that time until the return of Jesus Christ at His Second Advent. He called the final condition of man’s religious system “Laodicean,” making the last years of the church the “Laodicean era.” Christ’s letter to the church at Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-20) was also directed to and perfectly describes the church system that exists today. As one who is intimately involved in both the true and false church systems, I find the Lord’s description of the modern church astonishingly accurate. He describes the globally known false church as proud, arrogant and in need of nothing, not knowing that she is in reality “… wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.” The word “Gentile” means “heathen.” The modern church is 100% Gentile/heathen.
