As previously stated, man’s demand for self-determination, which dates back to the Garden of Eden, has become more and more powerful over time.  The more freedom man has, the more he wants.  God allows man to have what he wants.  Adam and Eve wanted self-governance.  Satan convinced them that they could reject God’s Law, do as they wished still live forever in the paradise He had created for them.  The Edenic church was comprised of two people and one Pastor.  Satan lured the laity away from their Leader and into his church in record time.  The desire for evolution on the spiritual level has taken God-seeking man farther away from Him with each generation.  Slavery, even slavery to God, will not be tolerated.

One will note from the letters the apostles wrote to the churches of their day that the desire for spiritual freedom did not end with the establishment of the New Testament church.  It did not take long for Satan to infect that body with the disease I call “self-worship.”  The Lord calls it “will worship.”  With the exception of God’s tiny “remnant,” His “Very Elect,” His “little flock,” the devil’s unrecognized and untreated virus we will call spiritual evolution has “gone viral.”  It has consumed the entirety of Catholicism and Protestantism to the point that today’s version of God’s church in no way resembles the church that came into being in an upper room in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost 31 A.D. where Christ’s disciples had gathered to celebrate that Holy Day.  Just as Jesus warned us about in the four gospels and the apostles wrote about in the epistles, Satan’s evolution virus has spread throughout the whole of professing Christendom.  And just as the coronavirus has spread throughout the entire world through human contact,  his spiritual “virus” (false gospel) has been spread throughout the entire world through his church’s missionary efforts.  Those who have not been “inoculated” by believing and obeying God’s Truth have become infected by believing and obeying  Satan’s church doctrine preached by his false prophets whom the Lord describes as “evil men and seducers (who) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived (by Satan)” (2 Tim. 3:13).  These men and their followers do not realize that they themselves are evolutionists who worship and obey an evolving god who, according to their theology, designed his rules for eternal life to evolve over time to fit man’s ever-changing will.

Neither the churched nor the unchurched understand why this “Nation Under God” which “Trusts” Him is continually having to deal with wars, disease, financial problems, acts of “nature,” race problems, invasion, etc., which are some of the very curses God promised to send upon those who insist on changing His Word.  As previously stated, everything that happens has a cause, including so-called “acts of nature.”  Yesterday’s (5-7-20) newspaper headline read: “East coast suffers blizzard conditions while west coast roasts.”  This is happening while the nation wrestles with disease, looming food shortages, financial ruin on a massive level, unemployment at record highs, crime, racial conflict, etc.  God warned that He would put those exact curses on those who refuse to obey Him.  Yet we hear no voice from government or religion calling the nation to follow God’s instructions found written in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people, who are called by My name (Christian nations) will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”  Several preachers have publicly prayed that prayer, but in each case the part about turning from wickedness is left out.  Man has evolved sin out of the picture using Adam as cause of his failure.

Neither churchman nor his unchurched counterpart know God’s Word.  The few who do know it refuse to live by its dictates for fear of rejection from their religious fellows and family members–which will come.  They have evolved along with their evolving god.  The queer priest who declared that “God has changed” was speaking for all those who believe in an evolving god.  Those who condemned the priest’s statement are unknowingly guilty of the same sin.  In this series I will bring to light a number of changes churchman’s evolving god has supposedly put into play.  Ironically, these changes have become some of the church’s foundation stones about which she preaches loudly and often.  We will begin our study of these evolutionary changes with the commandment that Satan has used to destroy the lives of billions of God-seekers–the Sabbath.  L.J.
