Ten Commandments

I am the Lord thy God, ... Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house.

Separation Of Church And State (cont. 3)

First, the U.S. Supreme Court forced religion in general (meaning Christianity) out of the public domain. This was followed by the outlawing of prayer in the public schools. Then came the Bible reading ban. Then the word “God” was declared anathema for the sake of the children. This meant that the Ten Commandments had to go. Then one was not allowed to utter the words “under God” when pledging allegiance to the flag. Then an appellate court declared constitutional a public school rule that forces its students to pretend to be Muslims for a three week period. As if the eradication of any semblance of Christianity was not enough, the court then declared all other religions to be legitimate and the recipients of all rights and privileges afforded by the first amendment.

The U.S. Supreme Court is not alone in attempting to eradicate the religion prescribed by the Holy Bible along with its Author. The United Nations has declared that its members cannot speak against the Muslim religion. However, no such restriction applies to Christianity.

Question: What did all of the above-mentioned court decisions have in common? Answer: The courts in power when those atrocities were committed were all dominated by politically liberal justices appointed by liberal administrations whose goal was and is to remove the Biblical God from the lives of our youth.

While reflecting on the past and looking to the future, I find myself agreeing with Thomas Jefferson and George Mason respectively: “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just–that His justice cannot sleep forever.” “As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world, they must be in this world by an inevitable chain of causes and effects. Providence punishes national sins by national calamites.” Nearing the end of one calamitous administration, the United States is about to usher in another, much more destructive one. Like a child who repeatedly rips the scab off of a wound causing it to become infected, by voting in two communists in a row, America’s voting majority is about to unleash an incurable infection upon itself. That infection is called Socialism (Communism light). Maso was right–nations receive the governments they deserve. America is about to get what she deserves. L.J.
