Jesus went to great lengths to warn His followers, then and now, about the future when His church would be His representative to the Gentile world. He personally established that church (Mat. 16:18), and through His example, His teachings and the teachings of His apostles (anciently and today), He tells salvation seekers what they must and must not do in order to be a part of His church and to receive eternal life in His Fathe’s future earthly kingdom. THE MESSAGE preached by Him concerned the coming Kingdom of God and the conditions that must be met in order to enter it (Lk. 1:14). That is the same message He sent His original apostles out to preach (Lk. 9:2). His message has not changed. He pronounces curses upon those who change it (Satan’s false prophets), as well as those who believe those “ministers of righteousness” who operate under the direction of the “angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:13-15). THE INSTUTIONAL CHURCH AND HER LEADERS ARE CURSED BY THE GOD THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE SERVING.

Satan began to infiltrate and deceive the church shortly after she was formed by orchestrating a controversy concerning the Gospel the people were to believe and obey. Church history records that a deeply felt church split occurred over whether the church was to proclaim the Gospel Jesus preached or whether the message was to be about Jesus Himself. The message/Gospel about Him won out. The message He preached and commanded His ministers to preach was largely rejected. Following the deaths of the original apostles, only a small minority of true believers continued to obey Him by proclaiming and obeying His message–the Kingdom of God.

As noted earlier in this series, within twenty years of the founding of Christ’s church, the Apostle Paul was doing spiritual battle with the churches he ministered to concerning the subject of the Gospel that was being preached to the people within them. This error continues to be the main subject of ministry within church circles today. A careful reading of the epistles reveals that false religion was a problem in the ministries of all of the original apostles. To demonstrate how deadly this error is, Paul pronounced a DOUBLE CURSE ON ANYONE, EVEN AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, WHO PREACHED ANY GOSPEL OTHER THAN THE ONE HE AND THE OTHER APOSTLES HAD DELIVERED TO THEM FROM JESUS CHRIST (Gal. 1:9). That Gospel was the same Gospel that Jesus preached–THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HOW TO ENTER IT.

Today, the vast majority of church people are totally ignorant of God’s Gospel. HAVING BEEN DECEIVED BY SATAN, THOSE IN THE MODERN CHURCH REJECT CHRIST’S GOSPEL MESSAGE, THEREBY TAKING UPON THEMSELVES A CURSE FROM HIM. AS PAUL WARNED, THOSE WHO TEACH SUCH ERROR HAVE RECEIVED A DOUBLE CURSE. Church people embrace what Jesus did, but reject what He said, WHICH ARE THE EXACT WORDS BY WHICH WE WILL ALL BE JUDGED (Jn. 12:44-50–note vs 48). According to Jesus, our acceptance of and obedience to His Words is a direct reflection of our love for Him. Those who love Him and His Words are required to prove such love. His true saints do so. As I have noted in earlier series, because of their obedience to God’s Word, His Very Elect will one day be hated by the entire world, including the church world. The church’s rejection of those who obey the Lord will one day turn into open warfare against them.

Christ’s Words of warning to His disciples referred specifically those living at the end of the age, the time we are living in today (Mat. 24:14; 10:32). He warns His saints in several Biblical passages that in order for them to be saved, they must walk in obedience to His Words until the end of their lives (Mat. 10:22; 24:13). During the coming spiritual war, the Lord promises to protect His Very Elect (“you,” which means all true saints alive during the end times). What He describes in Matthew 10 refers to those who turn away from Him and therefore lose their protection, which the vast majority have done and many more will do as the world turns on those who obey Him in the future. The question is, WHY HAVE BILLIONS OF PEOPLE TURNED AWAY FROM THE LORD THEY CLAIM HAS SAVED THEM? The answer is–THEY HAVE LOST THEIR LOVE FOR HIM AND HIS MESSAGE–THE HOLY BIBLE–exactly as He warned would happen just before His return.

In Matthew 24:12 Jesus warns about the church’s love loss, saying: “And because INIQUITY (LAWLESSNESS) will increase, the LOVE OF MANY WILL GROW COLD.” The Word He uses for love is AGAPE, which means the very love of God. Such agape can abide only in one who has been truly converted–spiritually begotten by God’s Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5). Note: this is not referring to the born again experience. Read Born Again. Key word–Born. God’s true saints are those who are led by His spirit. Only they are His true children.

The people referred to in Matthew chapters 10, 24 and 25:1-12 will be those church people who had at one time been His children (“sons”) but who will have fallen away from Him. The agape that had once filled their hearts (minds) will have “waxed” (become) cold, causing them to lose their love for the Lord and His word. They will have become LAWLESS. Our love for God and Christ must be proven by obeying Their Ten Commandment Law (Jn. 8:31; 14:15; 15:10/ 1 Jn. 5:3). Lawlessness (iniquity) is today commanded in order to be part of the Institutional Church where deception now reigns supreme. Read Luke 10:16.

In Matthew 24:14 Jesus tells us that THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL BE PREACHED IN EVERY NATION BEFORE HE RETURNS. IT WAS PREACHED GLOBALLY BY THE APOSTLES DURING THE FIRST CENTURY A.D. IT THEN VANISHED FOR MANY CENTURIES. CHRIST’S WORDS MEANT THAT THE NEXT TIME THE TRUE GOSPEL MESSAGE WOULD BE HEARD GLOBALLY WOULD BE THE SIGN THAT THE END OF THE AGE IS APPROACHING. GOD’S GOSPEL CAME BACK INTO THE WORLD IN THE 1930’S AND HAS BEEN PREACHED GLOBALLY EVER SINCE.

However, the church has refused to hear God’s Kingdom Gospel because Satan has deceived salvation seekers into believing that it was done away with and replaced by another, less dictatorial, more user-friendly Gospel, which Paul characterized as “perverted” (Gal. 1:6-9). The Gospel of the Kingdom of God continues to be preached to the world by His few dedicated ministers, of which I am one.

There will soon come a time when the true Gospel will, once again, not be heard on earth as the Great Tribulation will bring the preaching of the Holy Bible to an end. At that point God will take His people to their place of safety. Only His two witnesses will be left among the suffering masses to remind them of why they are being so horribly cursed (Rev. 11:3). Those who had refused to obey God’s Law will be among those to whom the two witnesses will speak during the Tribulation and Day of the Lord–a 3 1/2 year period which will usher in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That which calls itself “the church” has never heard God’s true Gospel. What they have heard is a false Gospel ABOUT THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST, NOT ABOUT HIS MESSAGE. CHRIST’S GOSPEL IS TOTALLY REJECTED BY THE CHURCH MASSES. As the Scriptures reveal, He wants the world to hear His message which must be believed and obeyed in order to qualify for salvation upon His return.
