Satan’s Ambassadors For Peace (Pt. 4)

In the previous three postings we came to understand the Lord’s attitude toward the “one god serves all” theology that is rapidly gaining ground within professing Christendom. This “it’s all good” mind-set is an attempt by Satan to create a singular global religious entity. The Lord tells us that he will succeed. Now we will examine God’s view toward religious man’s equally deadly trend toward “personal, intra-church unity at all costs.” In the following postings we will determine which is more important, maintaining peace and good will among the individuals within professing Christendom, or having good will between God and the individual. As this series will show, these two concepts are diametrically opposed.

In Revelation 12:9 we find the Apostle John, on orders from Jesus Christ Himself, telling us that “Satan deceives the whole world.” Notice that the word “deceives” is in present tense, meaning that it is an on-going process that will continue until Christ returns. As the entire book of Revelation is written to, for and about the church. And bear in mind that the Lord was addressing His church in these last days, not the Catholic/Protestant religious body that calls itself His church.

One way in which Satan has deceived the whole of professing Christendom, including the Counterfeit Church, concerns the concept of “peace above all things.” Through Satan’s Religious Correctness campaign, Satan has convinced most of the church world that any conflict within the church is bad, that everyone must feel welcomed and valued within the walls of the church, that there must be peace and unity regardless of what God says, which most do not know. For if church people knew (and believed and obeyed) what God says in His Holy Bible, what is known as “the church” today would not exist, and neither would this ministry.

Let us return to Revelation 12 and continue to read. Here we are told that Satan is in a rage because he knows his time is short. He knows this because He believes what God said in the Bible, which places him ahead of the Institutional Church in terms of faith, which is simply believing God’s Word (Rom. 10:19). Then in verse 13 John tells us that Satan’s wrath specifically targets “THE WOMAN which brought forth the man child. The “woman” is the global religious body known as “the church.” The “man child” is the true church of God which comes out of the woman (2 Cor. 6:17). Jesus warned in Matthew 7:13,14 that this end-time church would be quite small. Verse 14 reveals that Satan’s wrath will be so deadly that God’s people will be forced to flee “from the face of the serpent” (Satan) who will use his one world government guided by his one world religion to destroy them. Those in the true Church of God must recognize their enemy–everyone outside of her. I pointed out in an earlier series that within the United Nations, which includes most of the world’s nations, there is a law that forbids anyone from speaking against the Muslim religion. There is no such law concerning Christianity. To speak against Islam is an international hate crime. To speak against Christianity is an international right. In other words, Revelation 12:14 is a present day reality. As the world grows ever more liberal, what is now a spark will soon become a deadly inferno. It is then that God’s people will be forced to flee from the world government into “her place” where He will protect her throughout the 3 1/2 years of terror the likes of which mankind has never experienced. The Scriptures tell us that all of the horror that God has unleashed upon mankind throughout the ages combined will be as nothing compared to what is coming. While discussing this most unpleasant of subjects, let us not lose sight of the reason why God is bringing the Great Tribulation upon the world–man’s rebellion against His Word/Law. What man sows, man reaps. Man has sown the wind, soon he will reap the whirlwind. L.J.
