In Genesis 1 we find that God has re-created the earth’s surface, created various types of creatures to occupy it.  Afterward He pronounced it all “good.”  But the creation process was not complete.  The creatures He had brought into being lacked the ability to do what needed to be done.  The Creator needed a special creation–a being unlike any of those He had already created.  He needed a being like Himself who could oversee the entirety of His work from the garden He would provide for him.  This superb being would be created in His physical likeness and have His spiritual capabilities.  The animals, fish, birds, etc. already in existence possessed neither of those qualities, nor would either of those qualities ever become part of their physical or spiritual make-up through a process of what would become known as evolution.  The now popular animal-to-human transition theory was obviously not part of God’s original plan for the coexistence of human and non-human entities.

Not only would this special creation be superior to all other entities God had created, this being would control all other created entities: “Let Us  make man (Heb.–“Adam”) and let them (mankind) have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowls of the air and over the cattle and OVER ALL THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING THAT MOVES UPON IT.”  With that in mind, God created mankind in His (physical) likeness and in His (spiritual) image.  He “created them male and female” and commanded them to procreate after their (the human) kind, which was in every way different from the “kinds” of fish, birds, cattle, etc. over which they would have dominion (Gen. 1:26-28).  Then in verse 31 we find Him saying about ALL that He had created that it was “VERY GOOD.”  This evaluation included His command to each species to reproduce “after its kind.”

What God called “VERY GOOD?” was the re-created earth, the living creatures He had placed upon it, the waters and the heavens and the creatures He had created to occupy them.  He also declared “very good” the special beings–man and woman–who, along with their descendants, would control everything on earth that had been created to serve them.  There was another difference between humans and non-humans.  To Adam and his “kind” God gave a spirit so that He and man could communicate through His Holy Spirit.  Not only was man totally different from all other creations in physical appearance and spiritual capacity, man and his “kind” were different intellectually.  To man God gave the ability to reason on the highest level, to formulate choices and to determine the future results of those choices.

Could it be any more clear that the THEORY (calculated guess) of evolution is just that–guesswork based upon unproven assumptions.  For those of us who look to the Holy Scriptures for Truth, as did Jesus of Nazareth (Jn. 17:17), the evolution issue is settled–IT NEVER HAPPENED.  One does not have to be a Bible student to grasp this truth.  An atheist with common sense can reason that human beings and animals, birds, fish, insects, serpents, etc. have never been, are not and will never be related physically, mentally or spiritually.  Human eggs and sperm will unite in conception ONLY WITH THEIR OWN “KIND.”

God communicates with human beings, but not animals.  Only human beings can receive His Holy Spirit which enables them to speak to Him, hear from Him and obey what He tells them.  Only Human beings can receive the Holy Spirit.  Jesus did not die so that animals, fish, birds, etc. could receive the gift of the Spirit promised by God.  Humans operate on intelligence; animals operate on instinct.

Human beings and other species are physically, mentally and spiritually different, as different as it is possible to be.  Yet many humans believe that they are the end product of an evolutionary process that changed a mindless one-celled amoeba into a man who has stood on the moon, has placed a mobile machine on mars and will, if Christ delays His return, one day stand next to that machine.  God did not say of animals, birds, fish, etc. that there is nothing impossible to them.  He did, however, say that about man.

The THEORY of evolution is nothing more than the mental gymnastics of God-rejecting man whose god (Satan) has convinced him that he is nothing more than an animal that has changed over time into something entirely different from his original form, intelligence level, etc.  Evolution is nothing more than Satan’s ruse designed to make man view himself and others of his species as having no more innate value than an animal.  In the eyes of the evolutionist, man and lesser creations have a common creative and reproductive bond.  That bond supposedly enables unreasoning, non-creative, single-languaged, instinct-directed animals to evolve into ever more intelligent and talented beings.  Not so.  Man was created with everything he would ever have in terms of mentality.  Through his intellect he changed his world using the mind God gave him and the natural resources God provided for him.  In this way man achieved all that we see around us.  Animals change nothing for the better, but often for the worse.

But something is happening to God’s special creation.  We are watching supposedly intelligent man affect a reversal of life.  Instead of growing more intelligent and more “human,” man is evolving backwards by becoming more and more like the animal he believes himself to be.  This process is called “atavism”–the return to a previous state.  In the case of man, that state is believed to be animal.  Satan has accomplished his goal.  Through Charles Darwin he has convinced masses of human beings that they are nothing more than advanced animals.  Satan is convincing man to embrace his true nature–to be what he in reality has been all the time–an animal.  The evening news proclaims that the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4) is having his way with mankind.  Society watchers will notice that man has changed drastically over the past few years.

How has the devil accomplished so much in such a short time?  He is accomplishing a human atavism by luring man’s mind off of God and concentrating it solely on man himself.  What do television, the internet and all of the “everyone needs to know what I think, what I do, my opinion of them, etc.” platforms have in common?  They all focus man’s attention on himself–what pleases him, what entertains him, what satisfies his lusts and sensual desires, what he does, thinks and dreams about, in other words, what gives him a reason to get up.  Have you noticed that people are addicted to their little hand-held life sources? always having them close at hand, and in many cases, in hand.  What are people looking at when they gaze into the screen?  Something that speaks to their senses, stimulates them and gives them a momentary reason for being awake.  The people I love and hold dear are, to a person, addicted to screens of all sizes.  They waste hours pleasing themselves while the Word of God lies untouched on a shelf somewhere.  They are not alone.

As a result of reversed evolution man is becoming what evolutionists have been calling him for many years–an animal.  Animals have one goal–self-satisfaction.  Man is evolving backward into that same mind-set.  Having evolved to the point that spiritual things have been replaced by material things, man has learned that things and stuff do not satisfy over the long haul.  He has decided to revert back to what he supposedly was in the beginning.  Animals do not recognize God, nor are they interested in what He requires of them.  Animals do not need God with His restrictive dictates.  Animals satisfy themselves with no regard for the will of a “higher power.”  Man has decided that the animalistic, self-absorbed, self-satisfying life is the way to go.  And so he goes.  L.J.
