Until the early 1930’s the Lord’s gospel had not been preached since the deaths of the 12 apostles.  For approximately 1900 years the Institutional Church did not hear His Truth.  Over the centuries only a tiny remnant of true believers have continued to embrace and proclaim it.  Their numbers remained miniscule because both the Lord’s Truth and His people were rejected by the Institutional Church which had adopted her doctrines and customs from the heathen world whose minions had flocked into the Catholic Church during the reign of the Roman Empire.  The beliefs and practices of the heathen were embraced by the church hierarchy and incorporated into their ideological system.  When the so-called Protestant Revolution took place the “protesters” took the church’s heathen beliefs and customs with them where they remain to this day as foundational “truths.”  See the Introduction to this website for a list of many of those doctrines and customs which God calls “doctrines of devils.”  To this day there remains within professing Christendom a firm rejection of God’s will as expressed in the Holy Scriptures.  Instead, heathenism in it rawest and most Satanic forms is passed off as “Christianity” in the hundreds of religious organizations collectively known as “the church.”  Due to Biblical ignorance, billions of salvation seekers do not know that their church’s doctrines and practices were borrowed from Babylonian Mystery religions created by the god that the Institutional Church unwittingly worships and serves–Satan.

In the early 1930’s the Lord raised up a man named Herbert W. Armstrong and began sending His Holy Word throughout the world, first by radio, then by television.  By the time of Armstrong’s death in the early 1980’s millions of people were hearing the Lord’s Truth for the first time.  Today His Word continues to be broadcast globally by a few true believers via radio, television, the printing press and the world wide web.  But there still remain within humanity extremely remote areas where the Truth has not penetrated, where people have never heard the holy name by which one can be saved.  That problem, Revelation 11 tells us, will soon be solved as the spiritually darkened areas of the world will hear God’s two witnesses proclaim His unedited, uninterpreted and undefiled Holy Words.

Revelation 11:9 tells us that all kindreds, tongues and nations of the world will both hear and see God’s two witnesses during their time of ministry.  They will preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God throughout the earth for 3 1/2 years as chaos and terror afflict unrepentant mankind.  The witnesses will be able to reach those who had not previously had access to the Lord’s true gospel.

Beginning with Revelation 11:3 John tells us that God’s witnesses will have power to prevent rain from falling on the earth during the span of their ministry.  They will turn into blood what little fresh water that remains.  They will afflict the people with plagues whenever they want to do so.  While the world’s people will be experiencing war, disease, famine, drought, etc. the two witnesses with add to their misery by telling them why they are experiencing God’s wrath.  This will be like pouring salt into a wound.  Their global audience will hate them.  But if anyone tries to harm them, fire will come out of their (the witnesses) mouths and devour them.  One can only imagine the mental, emotional and physical distress that sinful man will experience during those horrific times.

Then, as quickly as it began, the ministries of God’s two witnesses will end as their enemies are allowed to kill them.  Their bodies will lie in a Jerusalem street for 3 1/2 days as people around the earth view their corpses and rejoice that their enemies will no longer be able to torment them.  People will sent gifts to one another as they celebrate their supposed freedom from those condemning voices.  Then, after 3 1/2 days, a voice will thunder from on high, telling the witnesses to rise up into heaven.  Every eye on earth will watch as they come to life, stand and ascend up to where their Lord awaits.    Until the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord begin God will continue to send His warnings to rebellious mankind, “telling” individuals who are open to His “voice” to repent of their evil, turn and embrace His holy way of life.  In the mean time Satan-serving man will continue to ignore the Lord’s warning “signs.”

As a result of his rebellion against the Almighty, man is now experiencing what Jesus referred to as “… the beginnings of sorrows” (Mat. 24:8).  The “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” have been “riding” for some 1900 years.  The curses (signs) they carry have grown more powerful and more destructive with the passage of time as man has grown farther and farther away from the Biblical God and toward their god.  The Biblical God has said, “Enough.”  Man has sown the wind for some 2000 years; now comes the whirlwind He promised those who rebel against Him.  The COVID-19 virus is just an initial breeze compared to the hurricane that is coming in the near future as the lands of those who claim to be God’s people go up in smoke.  Man has passed the point of no return.  The end has begun.  Multiplied millions will die from race wars, attack from foreign countries, military defeat and slaughter.  Those who survive will be taken to the lands of the victors as slaves.  The “signs” (warnings) of the past will pale into insignificance as Satan-serving man pays the price for his Lawlessness (iniquities).  The caronavirus is only the beginning of the “beginnings of the sorrows” that will come upon this generation.

Of all evil people on earth, those of the United States and Britain are the most vile in the eyes of God.  He has said that unto whom much is given, much is required.  Both the U.S. and Britain have been greatly blessed by the Lord.  They were set forth as His lights to the heathen world.  They have not only failed in their assigned light-shedding tasks, they themselves have become as dark as the darkness they were supposed to eliminate.  America’s and Britain’s light has become darkness, and “great is that darkness” (Mat. 6:23).  They, especially America, has led world in the production and spread of sin in the form of movies, books, television and internet programming.  Pornography abounds on those platforms.  Sin is glorified both inside and outside the Catholic/Protestant system.  Any mention of holiness becomes the subject of jokes among “God’s people.”  Those who proclaim it are considered heretics by the Counterfeit Church which claims to be using as her standard the same Bible used by the heretics.  NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SATAN WITHIN INSTITUTIONAL CHRISTIANITY.  L.J.
