There is a saying in the business world that, relative to present day material things: “You get what you pay for.” Basically this is true. To get more out now, we must put more in now. That is why some drive Chevys while others drive BMWs. No one questions this truth. But we must understand that the same saying applies to the spiritual world, but with far greater importance in that it has eternal implications. Because the church masses do not believe this Scriptural Truth, her parishioners drive Henry Js while believing they are driving Lamborghinis. This error is caused by their failure to render unto God the things that are owed Him, which is mistakenly called “works”–a dirty word in the “only believe” world of professing Christendom.
What we “pay for” by rendering unto God is our future salvation. I have proven Scripturally time and again that those who refuse to “count the cost” of salvation and “render unto God” the “payment” He demands will not receive the promised inheritance. The deadly irony of this situation is that those whom God will reject at judgment “know” that they owe him only faith because they “know” that they are already “saved” and “born again,” and that they are already inheritors of salvation. God plainly refutes this error in Romans 8:16,17 where the Apostle Paul writes that: “The (Holy) Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we (true saints) are the children of God, and if children, then heirs of God and joint (equal) heirs with Christ.” An heir has the promise of an inheritance. An inheritor has already received the promise. Christ and His Very Elect will receive their inheritance (salvation and the universe) upon His return to earth to set up His Father’s kingdom. Study Hebrews 2:1-10 for more on this subject.
Why do the billions of professing Christianity “know” what is unscriptural, but do not know what is Scriptural? Paul addresses this question in Second Thessalonians 2:10-12 where he refers to “the unrighteousness that is found in them (church people) that perish because they do not love the Truth (God’s Word-Jn. 17:17) so that they might be saved.” Because they reject His Word “God sends them STRONG DELUSION SO THAT THEY WILL BELIEVE A LIE.” Note it: Because church people refuse to believe God’s Holy Scriptures He sends them strong delusion so that they will believe Satan’s lie. God lumps all of Satan’s lies into one entity known as “church doctrine–the lie.” The Introduction to this website lists numerous such lies. The website presents a Biblical study of each of the listed doctrines and customs and proves them to be in error. Those with eyes to see will know the Truth and be set free from error. L.J.
