As noted in part one of this series, Jesus proclaimed that not every one who calls Him “Lord” will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (His true church), nor will they, upon His second coming, enter into the Kingdom of God which He will create following His return. He speaks about these people in chapter 15 verses eight and nine where He says of them: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts (minds) are far from Me. THEY WORSHIP ME IN VAIN by teaching their own doctrines instead of My commandments.” The Greek word for “vain” is Maten, meaning worthless, producing no positive results. Speaking religious words and singing religious songs about the Lord is worthless unless we obey Him.

We will now enter into a short study in which we will determine why church people prefer man’s definitions of good and evil over God’s definitions. Jesus summed it up when He said to Satan: “You do not embrace the things of God, but rather the things of man” (Mat. 16:23). The “things of man” are those religious “truths” generated by man to fulfill his (man’s) wishful thinking. Adam and Eve preferred the words of Satan over the Words of God because God told them what they could and could not do, and that there would be a price to pay (spiritual death) for not obeying Him. Satan told them that they could do what THEY wanted to do, and that there would be no price to pay.

Nothing has changed. The modern day church believes that Jesus paid the price so that they could do whatever pleases them. In other words: HE HAS OBEYED GOD FOR THEM. This is a satanic lie. Jesus died so that they could receive forgiveness of their PAST sins (receive justification–Rom. 3:25), then receive the Holy Spirit which would empower them to obey the Lord for the remainder of their lives, THEREBY QUALIFYING THEM TO LIVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD FOREVER by walking as Christ walked (1 Jn. 2:6) and by overcoming temptations as He overcame them (Rev. 3:21). This is the strait gate and the narrow way of Christ that leads to paradise. The wide gate and broad way of the Institutional Church leads to the Lake of Fire (Mat. 7:13,14; 22:14). The word “vanity” in the title of this series has an interesting definition. The word in the Greek language is “manen” which means worthless, producing no positive results. This perfectly describes the church doctrines of the hundreds of so-called “Christian denominations.” Their lives do not exhibit Biblical Christianity in that they do not manifest the word “Christian,” which means “little Christs” or “disciples of Christ.” Manifesting Christ in our daily walk entails obedience to His Word/Light/Gospel/Law. This website is dedicated to exposing so-called Christian organizations that claim to have Jesus Christ as their head. Jesus Christ has nothing to do with those abominable institutions, except to call to those inside to come out of them, receive justification, be baptized with the Holy Spirit then serve Him for the remainder of their lives. For the Lord’s people, the word “vain” has no part to play in their lives because they, like Jesus before them, think, speak, and act as directed by the Holy Spirit. These are the true sons of God (Rom. 8:14) who will rise to meet Him in the sky at the time of His Second Advent and the First Resurrection, descend to the Mount of Olives, walk with Him into Jerusalem where He will begin to create the eternal Kingdom of God where He and they will live eternally as spirit beings, having been born again upon His arrival.
