Question: What do the three words in the title have in common? Answer: Nothing in the spiritual sense, everything in the carnal sense. St. Valentine’s Day concerns the love of human beings for each other in the fleshly sense. The Bible comes into play when one learns that the day has nothing to do with Godly love and everything to do with human lust. The Lord commands that His people “abstain from even the appearance of evil.” Celebrating St. Valentines Day concerns much more than the appearance of sin, it involves the committing of sin under guise of making children happy. The so-called Christian World recently committed a similar sin for the same reason by celebrating what is called “Christmas,” a word that makes no sense even on the carnal level. The word “mass” means sacrifice. No one has been able to explain how the ancient sacrifice of children to a god called Mithra has anything to do with the supposed birth date of Jesus Christ. As is the case with the Counterfeit Church concerning most of its beliefs and practices, there is no Biblical explanation for observing Christmas. Those in the Catholic/Protestant religious system marched blindly on, believing the teachings of their religious fathers who had embraced heathenism on the wholesale level many centuries earlier. Being ignorant of the Word of God, succeeding generations consumed what their false prophets fed them without bothering to obey the Lord’s command to “try the spirits” of those who led them. The result is a totally pagan institution known throughout the world as “the church.” Empowered by Satan–the “angel of light”–and led by his false prophets–“ministers of righteousness”–the whole of professing Christendom embraces Babylonian paganism to the fullest, calls the sordid mess “Christian” and sells it to the masses. Today some 3+ billion people follow Satan’s church doctrines–their holy grail–believing that doing so has saved them and prepared them for a supposed rapture that will supposedly take them to heaven. And Satan smiles.

In an earlier series I provided the basic information concerning the Catholic-concocted concept of St. Valentine, cupid, bows, arrows, the “sacred heart,” candy formed in the supposed shape of a heart, cards, etc. In this series we will delve deeper into the Babylonian background of one of the devil’s most cherished church customs.

The first truth we must establish is that Valentine’s Day is not a Christian celebration. Being pagan to its core, it has no place in the Body of Christ. As stated in the previous series, Valentine’s Day falls at the same time as the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia during which young people were paired off through a lottery system. Following a season of courtship they were expected to “fall in love” and marry. History reveals that the religious establishment in Rome, today known as the Catholic Church, blended pagan beliefs and customs with Catholic doctrines and assigned so-called saints to them in order to attract converts. In order to “Christianize” the heathen practices, the church honored them by associating them with dead heroes. The patron saint of love and lovers was a famous “saint” named Valentine. What is not generally known, and is rejected when it comes to light, is the fact that the pagan population of Rome had been observing the festival which began on February 14 for hundreds of years before the birth of Christianity.

The Catholic Church has a history of embracing the religious beliefs and practices of the heathen peoples who “convert” to Catholicism, most of whom had been persuaded to do so by being given the choice of conversion or death. When Emperor Constantine converted to Catholicism he was encouraged to give up his pagan past. However, the people refused to do so. In order to appease them the church embraced their forms of religion but gave them different names and assigned them different purposes. For example, the church appeased sun god worshipers by changing the Sabbath from the 7th day of the week as God had commanded to the first day of the week–Sun day–the day sun worshipers honored their sun god. It is also the method by which Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. became “Christianized.” So powerful are these Satanic observances that when shown God’s Truth concerning them, church people reject what is written in the Bibles they profess to believe.
