Liberalism is so fluid and changeable that to the liberal mind, right is “whatever you want it to be, however you want it to be.”  To a liberal purist, truth and right are strictly personal.  And if you disagree you are wrong, evil and in need of cancellation.  The rule in liberalism is that there are no rules.  Each man does what is right in his own eyes (Prov. 21:2); good can be evil, up can be down, in can be out, etc., depending on the situation.  Whether in the political or the religious realm, liberalism’s results are always the same–chaos (no direction) and anarchy (no law).  To the liberal, what’s yours is theirs; failure is equal to success; “fair” means guaranteed equality of outcomes, meritocracy is a dirty word and failure is never the fault of the one who fails–it is the fault of someone (or everyone) else.  And it is someone else’s job to turn the failure’s failure into success.  Liberals insist that the successful have no right to enjoy the fruits of their success; they owe at least half of those fruits to those who fail.  The burden of failure must be born by all, especially those who succeed. A few years ago then Vice President Joe Biden voiced classic liberalism after a trip to Central and South America where he convinced parents to send their children to America.  Upon his return he explained why he had done so.  He explained that the poor children of the world: “… aren’t the world’s children, they’re our children.”  Not long after than trainloads of unaccompanied children arrived at our southern border where they were loaded on busses and shipped all across the nation.

The world took notice.  A look at our southern border today tells us that the world believes that what America has is not hers–it belongs to the world.  The liberals, including those of the religious ilk, have told the world’s down and out:  “Just show up and Americans will give you whatever they have.  Come as you are, stay as you are, bring the crud you claim to be escaping with you.  Americans will feed you, cloth you, house you, educate you, recreate you, medicate you the fly you to wherever you want to go with American money in your pocket.  As soon as possible they will put you on welfare and pay you to have as many babies as you can produce.  There is only one requirement you must meet: YOU MUST BREAK AMERICA’S LAW.”

And what is the result of this liberal lunacy?  Social commentator Pat Buchannan summarized it this way: “We no longer speak the same language, worship the same God, honor the same heroes or share the same holidays ….  Our politics have become poisonous.  Our political parties are at each other’s throats.  Christianity is in decline.  Traditional churches are sundering over moral issues like abortion and same-sex marriage.  Islam is surging.  Our society seems to be disintegrating.”

Buchannan is right.  The United States is no longer one nation under God; she is no longer one nation and God is not in the loop.  She is a mongrelized whore.  She is, as they say back in Missouri, “anybody’s dog that will hunt her.”

What happened to what was once the greatest nation on earth?  God told us many years ago.  He warned us repeatedly what would happen if we failed to obey Him.  Let us examine some of His “fine print” to determine exactly why we are no longer the world’s “melting pot,” but are instead the world’s cesspool.  Let us look at our southern border and remember His warning as recorded in Deuteronomy 28:43.  After telling us what He would do FOR us if we obeyed Him, He told us what He would do TO us if we disobeyed Him: “The sojourner (alien) who is among you will mount up above you higher and higher, and you will come down lower and lower.”  This is exactly what is happening.  No one feeds, clothes, educates, medicates and houses me.  No one flies me to wherever I want to go.  But my hard-earned tax money foots the above-stated bill for the millions of so-called “migrant workers” (sojourners) flooding my beloved country.  What have they done to deserve the fruits of my labors?  They want what Americans have earned and are happy to meet the requirement to have it handed to them.  And who lured them to our border?  Liberals.

In another Scriptural passage God speaks in past tense, revealing what our nation would look like in the future after He had poured out His wrath on her for rebelling against Him: “Your country lies desolate; your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence aliens devour your land which is desolate, having been overthrown by those aliens” (Isaiah 1:7).  Does this ring any bells?  The Lord’s prophecies are coming to pass all around us.  What has happened to the “city on a hill?”  The answer will not sit well with church people.

As I have written and said many times: AS GOES THE CHURCH, SO GOES THE NATION.  Notice that the nation’s fall FOLLOWS the church’s fall.  Let us see how that works.

From whence came the idea that wanting something means I should have it? that something is mine simply because I believe it?  From whence came the idea that one should get paid simply for showing up? that one deserves a winner’s trophy simply for running the race?  THESE ARE ALL LIBERAL “TRUTHS” TAUGHT BY THE INSTITUTIONAL CHURCH.  As stated, the nation follows the church’s lead.

America, Britain and the Jews are reaping the whirlwind–the result of the winds they have sown.  Sin begets sin exponentially.  Like a single wheat seed produces hundreds of like seeds, the sins of those who call themselves God’s people have found them out.  The so-called “Christian nations” are now battling the latest curse God has poured out on them–Covid.  They suffer exactly as the heathen nations because, in God’s eyes, they are no different.  But Covid isn’t working in isolation.  But let me remind you of a bit of “fine print” found in Revelation 6:8 where the Lord warns that in the last days people will die from “beasts of the earth” (Rev. 6:8).  People are now being infected by rodents and animals in some of our western states.  Those diseases will not remain there.  Be warned, Jesus said that these are merely the “… beginning of sorrows.”

Liberalism is the seminal cause of all of man’s problems.  Adam and Eve wanted to eat the forbidden fruit.  The serpent introduced them to liberalism.  They ate the forbidden fruit.  There, in the Garden of Eden, liberalism was born and the result was experienced.  The curses that always follow liberalism have grown in scope and effect as man has increased in numbers.  The United States of America has just elected the most liberal government in her history.  The results of her ideology are obvious to those having eyes to see and ears to hear.  L.J.
