Liberalism, whether in the political or the religious realm, is anti-God and anti-freedom.  Liberalism as defined by the Lord is “each man doing what is right in his own eyes.”  If the liberal wants, he can call good evil, evil good, up down and down up.  Liberalism is a facade–a pleasant, ego-elevating term used to hide its death-dealing truth from its reality-rejecting followers.  It is like a newly painted car body with no engine.  Jesus spoke to this truth when He called out the scribes and Pharisees for pretending to be what they were not, saying to them: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you are like whited sepulchers which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.  You appear outwardly to be righteous, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity (Lawlessness)”–Mat. 23:27,28.  Those descriptive words perfectly describe today’s religious and political liberals.  A “great gulf” separates what they are and what they pretend to be.

In the above passage Jesus perfectly described the mind-set that rejects what has been “tried, tested and found to be true” and embraces the “true is whatever I want to be true is ” political and religious ideology which was discussed in the previous series.  What liberals want to be true is 330,ooo,000 Americans wanting someone to think for them and provide for their every need.  Among the liberals, politics, specifically the voting process, is a means to that end.  In the end, IT’S ALL ABOUT POWER OVER THE PEOPLE.  Why do liberals want to rule the American people?  Part of the answer was voiced by former Secretary of State John Kerry who was heard, seen and recorded saying this about the American people: “They don’t know what’s good for them.”  I saw and heard him voice that ultimate expression of liberalism.  He said what the liberal elite  believe–THE IGNORANT MASSES ARE INCAPABLE OF SELF-DETERMINATION, SELF-GOVERNANCE AND SELF-SUPPORT.  The liberal on the street just wants someone to take care of him.  The elite promise to do exactly that.  Just prior to Kerry’s statement someone else at the table compared the American people to cattle.  Recently Vice President Camala Harris voiced that same sentiment when she said that rural Americans (50% of the population) are incapable of providing proof of American citizenship in order to vote.  That requirement, she said in a condescending voice, “is simply too much to ask of them.”  The poor ignorant souls who feed this country and millions in other countries are just too ignorant to get a driver’s license, identity card, etc. According to her and other liberals, non-liberals need a nanny state to save them from themselves.  The nannies have a program which will do exactly that.

The problem is that, in a free society, operating a nanny state requires that the state have total power over the “little people.”  To gain such power liberals must first make the “cattle” dependent on them.  Which explains the existence of America’s multi-million-member welfare system, the Affirmative Action program and other such “assistance/outreach” programs designed to gain and retain power over those who are willing to be viewed and treated like children.  Political liberalism (Socialism) is ready to play Big Momma to a nation of babies.  In short, liberalism is the smiling facade behind which lurks a snarling monster waiting to be released.  The monster was released on January 20th and immediately revealed its extreme hatred for everything this nation stands for as well as the God she professes to trust.  A viewing of honest news coverage (if you can find it) reveals the result of their well-orchestrated, intricately-implemented plan–America is being overrun by illegals and destroyed by liberal anarchists.  One report stated that 180,000 people broke our law by crossing our southern border last month (June).  Large segments of liberal-led cities remain in ruin.  Law enforcement is being told to shut down.  It is currently being estimated that 30,000,000 law-breakers will eventually invade this nation over the next few years.  I believe this estimate to be low.  The liberals are planning to grant general amnesty to all of the adults, thereby making them eligible to vote.  We are learning that thousands of illegal ballots were cast in the last election.  I surmise that many of them were caste by illegals.  And we know for whom they voted.  The liberals’ well-laid plan is working to perfection.  You may have noticed that the administration will not allow Cubans to enter the country?  Why?  Because they are trying to escape from the same kind of “Worker’s paradise” this administration is trying to create.  If allowed to come here, they will expose the “utopian paradise” just 90 miles off America’s shores.  Nothing rivals having lived in a situation when it comes to exposing the reality of that situation.  Liberals hate reality.  And too, Cuban refugees would probably vote Republican.

Liberals are not stupid.  They know that the formula for gaining power over a free society is as follows: power is gained through the voting process; illegals vote liberal; therefore liberals recruit illegals, thereby gaining power which enables them to recruit more illegals, who will vote liberal, which enables liberals to retain power and recruit more illegals ….  This formula applies to power gained and retained through the elective process.  This explains why liberals are fighting to keep voter identification from becoming law.  In a true election, all they have to offer is Socialism/Communism.

By looking closely into any formerly free society that has embraced Socialism, the observant seeker of truth will learn that the nominating, campaigning and electing process is merely a front for the liberals’ ultimate goal, which is to “FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” from a vote-based representative republic to a power-based COMMUNIST STATE.  No society votes in a Communist government.  However, many will vote in a socialist government.  Just as a child is so much cuter than the adult it becomes, child-like “Socialism” sounds so much nicer than its future manifestation called “Communism.”  Invariably, the end result of Socialism is horrendous.  Just ask the people of Cuba who are rebelling against the Castro regime.

Socialism encourages anarchy.  Note that the states and cities where anarchy, destruction, violence and death are the order of the day are run by liberals–Portland, Oregon, Chicago, Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia, Baltimore, Maryland, San Francisco, California ….  The list will grow over the coming months.  The liberal plan looks like this: when cities and states fail to stop the burning, looting, etc., Big Momma will declare martial law, step in and affect a federal take-over of the nation’s police forces.  The federal government will then assume control over the entire population.  A federal police state will be the result.   Those in Washington, D.C. will no longer lead the country, they will rule the country.  A true dictatorship will be in operation.  The electoral process will be a thing of the past.  America will become Cuba West.

In a politically, socially and materially free society such as the United States, before Communism can be FORCED onto the people, the people must willingly vote out personal freedom by voting in Socialism.  Socialism (Communism mild) is Communism with a smile–one hand picks your pocket while the other hand pats your back.  As previously stated, liberalism/Socialism is diabolical.  It causes a people to knowingly and willingly agree to have their “pockets picked” (lose their freedoms) as long as the thief is “patting their backs” (taking care of them).  Concerning America’s growing infatuation with Socialism, let us not forget that the most deadly and destructive Communist state ever to exist called itself the United Soviet SOCIALIST Republic.

Pure dictatorial Communism is the liberal’s idea of utopia.  In such a utopia, 1% of the people promises the other 99% “EQUALITY FOR ALL.”  Question: if a “worker’s paradise” is in fact as advertised, why would 99% of all communist countries empty out over night if the people were allowed to leave?  Why are the governments of those countries forced to use guards and fences to keep people from escaping?  Why would one want to escape from utopia?  Could it be that the equality that was promised is in fact equal poverty?  And could the black and white difference in life quality between the ruling 1% and the ruled 99% have anything to do with so many wanting to escape?  During World War II 20 million Russians living in that Workers Paradise starved to death while millions more lived as paupers.  All the while the 1% lived like kings because THEY WERE KINGS.  Such is the same today in countries like Cuba and North Korea.  The 1% lives the good life while their subjects are barely able to hang on to life.  But look on the bright side, they are, as promised, equal–equally poor.

Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba–such is the future of the United States of America that the liberals have envisioned for her.  You and I (human cattle) are nothing more than cannon fodder in the creation of the United Socialist States of America the liberals have envisioned.  But the Truth-seeking student of the Bible is not surprised.  His Lord warned him about these events in  His Holy Bible.  In the next posting we will study His prophecies concerning the final days of the age.  L.J.
