Because of his faith in and obedience to God, Abraham became “the father of many nations.” His descendants would become “as the stars in heaven” and “the sand of the sea.” Following the Jew-Israel split, both groups were defeated in war, enslaved and scattered throughout the world. Some 70% of the world’s Jews were killed during World War II. Today they number approximately 15 million world-wide. These few Jews are supposedly the totality of the Israelite nation. Let us examine that ideology without prejudice, preconceived ideas and wishful thinking. Let us seek truth and be willing to accept it when it has been found.

When the 12 tribes of Israel came out of Egyptian slavery they totaled approximately 3 million in number. They were known for their high rate of reproduction. This fact had prompted the Egyptians to kill many of the male infants. Recall that Moses was saved from that slaughter. Considering the time that has elapsed since Israel’s departure from Egypt, and considering the Israelites’ reproduction rate, we can reasonably expect their descendants to number in the hundreds of millions. And considering that they were scattered throughout the entire world, we can reasonably expect to find their descendants living where their ancestors settled. The Jews–the descendants of Judah, Benjamin and Levi–are easily identified because of their observance of the Ten Commandments, particularly the Sabbath commandment. This fact, along with their penchant for keeping records of births and deaths, we know that the Jews number approximately 15 million world-wide.

When the Word (Jn. 1:1-4,14) who came to earth as Jesus of Nazareth, walked among men He went about building His church. During that time He announced that Israelites would be the primary members of that church. Recall that He said: “I came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (the 10 northern tribes). Recall also that when He sent the apostles out to preach His gospel He told them to go, not to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, but  “… to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (He would later allow into His church those Gentiles who would become spiritual Israelites).

In a previous series I explained how the tribes of Israel were scattered throughout the world’s Gentile nations where they became spiritual Gentiles by adopting their religions, languages, social customs, etc. The following is a list of the tribes of Israel and where each tribe settled following their scattering. It was to these nations that the apostles traveled following their ministerial commission from Jesus. Note that it is these areas that are today called “Christian nations.” Upon finding their Israelite brethren, the apostles evangelized them. In fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, those Israelites became “the light of the Gentiles” among whom they lived by telling them about the Israelites’ God and teaching them to believe and obey His Old Testament and the Words of Jesus Christ spoken and later written by the apostles. Their written words would eventually become the New Testament. The question now becomes: Where did the apostles find the “lost sheep of the tribes of Israel?” A number of sources tell us where the different tribes settled following their dispersion (the diaspora).

The following information is found in the Scottish Declaration of Independence and in the book by Peter Lillbac titled Sacred Fire. I will identify the tribe, then the nation in which that tribe settled following their scattering. Dan–Denmark/ Benjamin–Iceland/ Asher–Sweden/ Naphtali–Norway/ Issachar–Finland/  Judah–Babylon and Judea/ Zebulun–France/ Gad–Italy/ Rueben–Holland/ Simeon–Spain/ Ephraim–England/ Manasseh–England, the New World (America).

The New Covenant Church is an Israelite institution in that it is populated by God-seeking Israelites who have returned to their ancestral Master by obeying His Holy Bible–His Law. Note that Jesus and His apostles stated repeatedly that one must obey that Law in order to be saved. This rule does not, of course, include the sacrificial law which the Lord did away with at the Last Supper.  Though numbering only in the thousands globally, God’s church, peopled by spiritual Israelites, continues to believe and obey His Holy Scriptures.

Contrarily, Satan’s Counterfeit Church (Catholicism/Protestantism) has grown exponentially since her founding in Rome by Simon the sorcerer in 33 A.D. See Simon of Samaria–The Legacy. It is Satan’s false church that has led the “Christian nations” to rebel against God and His Word, thereby bringing the world to the brink of disaster in which it finds itself today. As goes the church, so goes the nation. Anciently the king set the moral tone for the nation. Note how Israel suffered each time her leadership turned away from God. The same is true in the so-called “Christian world” today. Due to their rejection of God’s Word, whereby they reject both God and Christ (Lk. 10:16), those nations will pay a severe price for their rebellion. God is not mocked; what a nation sows, it reaps. The world’s self-professed “Christian nations” have sown the wind; they are beginning to reap the whirlwind. For example, the Muslim hoards from the Middle East are invading the “Christian nations.” Note also that so-called “natural disasters” wrecking havoc as never before in those same nations, particularly the United States which God established to lead the world to Him. The American church failed and the nation followed suit. The same has happened in all God-proclaiming countries. Sin has consequences. The Lord is warning through disasters of both the “natural” and the human kind. The Lord is “speaking.” The nations are not listening.

In summary, Jews and Israelites, though of the same biological lineage, are today two separate entities. The Jews are well-known while the Israelites are “lost” from public view. Most Israelites do not know they are Israelites. Their ancestors, having embraced the characteristics of the Gentiles among whom they lived, came to accept themselves as Gentiles. Those Gentiles nations, along with the Jewish state called Israel, have been greatly blessed, just as God promised Abraham. However, God ruled that in order to retain those blessings Abraham’s descendants had to obey His Word. They have not. As a result God will soon cause them to be defeated militarily and enslaved in the lands of their new masters, just as He did to their ancient ancestors.  L.J.
