Recently as I was thinking about the past election the Lord reminded me of my own words and the Biblical Truths behind them.  I have said that He places men into political leadership over all nations, including those that are called Christian nations, and that He places in power over the nations the “basest” (worst) of men.  Donald Trump is a prime example.  I have said that He either causes to happen or allows to happen everything that happens.  I have said that He established the United States as His light to the Gentile nations of the world.  I have also said that He punishes nations that fail to obey Him.  The United States is a prime example.  I have said that He will help anyone who wants to commit spiritual suicide by providing the tree, the rope, the stool and the foot to kick the stool.  This is what He is doing to the U.S.  He arranged the COVID-19 pandemic so that, through mail-in ballots, the liberals could steal the election.  In so doing they symbolically found a tree, tied a rope to a limb, placed a stool under the rope, climbed onto the stool, placed the noose over their collective heads and tightened it around their collective necks.  In His own time and in His own way God will kick the stool out from under them.  He is allowing His enemies to strut and preen, talk and scream, pat themselves on the back, threaten, make their plans, etc.  Meanwhile He laughs and plans their downfall (Ps. 2:1-5).  The bigger they make themselves, the harder they will fall.  God is not mocked; whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap.  Those who try to destroy what God has established have sown the wind; they will reap the whirlwind.

But bear this in mind: GOD PLACED DONALD TRUMP INTO POWER TO EMPTY THE D.C. SEWER WHICH HAS PLACED THE NATION ON A SLIPPERY SLOPE LEADING TO A MORAL, SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ABYSS.   HE NEEDS FOUR MORE YEARS TO THROW OUT THOSE BABY-KILLING, GOD-DESPISING PEOPLE.  AND DONALD TRUMP WILL HAVE THOSE YEARS.  Like Solomon and Judas, vile, sinful Trump is doing God’s work and His work is not finished.  This is all about God fulfilling His will.  Trump will indeed fulfill His will in spite of himself.  He has not and will not change morally.  Being the sinner that he is, he will eventually turn on the Lord with a vengeance.  In the end, God will punish him severely, along with the sin-saturated nation that refuses to honor Him by obeying His Word.

While thinking about this the Lord reminded me of a passage of Scripture He had led me to recently while I was thinking about the situation in which America has placed herself.  Let us turn to that passage which will reveal how God works to fulfill His will.  What follows will shock some readers.  Bear in mind that the God that the people of the Old Testament dealt with later came to earth as Jesus of Nazareth (Jn. 1:1-4,14).  He is no longer that humble stone mason from Nazareth.  Sweet baby Jesus is now the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  And He is about to roar.

In 1 Kings 22 we find the story of Jehoshaphat, the king of Judea (Jews–tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi) and Ahab, the king of Israel (the other tribes of Israel).  Israel had been at war with Syria for three years and had lost Ramoth-gilead to that superior army.  In chapter 1 verse 4 Ahab is speaking to Jehoshaphat, asking him if he and the Jews would help him fight the Syrians.  Jehoshaphat agreed to do so.  Ahab then gathered 400 prophets of Baal (Israel’s heathen god) together and asked them if he (Ahab) should go to Ramoth-gilead and fight the Syria army for the city.  The prophets all agreed that he should do so.  They assured him that Baal had guaranteed him victory.  Then Jehoshaphat asked if there was “A PROPHET OF THE LORD” in Israel who would speak the mind of God concerning the situation.  Ahab replied that there was a prophet of God named Miciah through whom God spoke.  But Ahab hated Miciah because, as he said, “… he does not prophesy good toward me, only evil.”  Nevertheless Jehoshaphat wanted to hear what the prophet had to say.  So Ahab sent one of his military leaders to fetch Miciah.  As they were returning to where the two kings waited, the officer warned him to speak only good to King Ahab.  Miciah replied, “As the Lord lives, WHAT THE LORD SAYS TO ME, THAT WILL I SPEAK.” Remember those words.

When Miciah was asked by Ahab what he should do, Miciah said, “GO AND PROSPER, FOR THE LORD HAS DELIVERED THE VICTORY INTO THE HAND OF THE KING (AHAB).”  Then Ahab, in anger, ordered Miciah to tell him “what is TRUE in the name of (under the power of) the Lord.”  Then Miciah said, “I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills like sheep that have no shepherd.  The Lord said, “They have no master; let them return every man to his house in peace.”  Jehohshaphat heard everything Miciah had spoken from God, including a direct quote from Him warning about going to Ramoth-gilied.

In a rage, Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you that he (Miciah) would prophesy no good concerning me, but only evil?”  Then Miciah replied: “I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven was standing by Him on His right hand and on His left.  And the Lord said, ‘Who will persuade Ahab to go up and die at Ramoth-gilead?’  And there came forth a spirit and stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will persuade him (Ahab).’  And the Lord said to him, ‘How will you persuade him?’  And the spirit said, ‘I will go forth and I WILL BE A LYING SPIRIT IN THE MOUTH OF ALL OF HIS PROPHETS.’  And God said, ‘YOU SHALL PERSUADE HIM, NOW GO AND DO IT.’  Now therefore, behold, THE LORD HAS PUT A LYING SPIRIT IN THE MOUTH OF ALL THESE YOUR (AHAB’S) PROPHETS; the Lord has spoken evil concerning you.”  In verse 28 Miciah pronounces a death sentence on Ahab, the King of Israel.  Nevertheless, Ahab and Jeshoshaphat led their nations into battle against Syria at Ramoth-gilead. During the battle Ahab was killed, just as the Lord, through Miciah, had warned would happen.  Note that God ordered a lying spirit (not one of His angels) to enter into Baal’s prophets in order to fulfill His will that wicked Ahab should die in battle.  Let us look at a few other incidences in which God this type of thing.

Recall that while the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt, God approved of the midwives lying to pharaoh about the birthing habits of Jewish women and rewarded them for their deception (Exo. 1:15-21).  Recall that Jesus chose Judas to keep the group’s money, though He knew he was a thief.  And because he was a thief and would do anything for money, He chose him to betray Him to the high priest (Mat. 26:50,54; 27:9).  Remember my tree, rope, stool, foot saying.  Recall that God told Miciah to lie to King Ahab about going to battle.  God used a lie by Jehu to bring about the deaths of the worshipers of Baal (2 Ki. 10:16-30).  For his good work the Lord rewarded his posterity with kingships over Israel unto the fourth generation (2 Ki. 10:16-30).  God said to Jehu: “… you have DONE WELL (deceived the people) in executing that which is RIGHT IN MY EYES ….” (2 Ki. 10:16-30).  Recall that Isaiah used a sacrifice to kill the prophets of Baal (1 Ki. 18:36-40)

God uses a variety of “unorthodox” methods to bring people down who do not obey Him.  False religion, war, disease, famine, drought, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, fire, floods and financial downturns to name a few.  Few believe that God also uses tricks, lies and deceptions to work out His will, and that He uses the most vile of people and nations to get done what He wants done.  Recall that He sent the wicked Assyrians to defeat and enslave Israel and the equally wicked Babylonians to defeat and enslave Judah.  Some will say that the One Who did those things was the God of the Old Testament.  The New Testament God, they assert, would not do that.  Let us be reminded that the creator God of the Old Testament is the same as the savior God of the New Testament.  Read Jesus of Nazareth: God, Man or God-man?  Use “God-man” or “Nazareth” as your key word.  Also read The God of the Old Testament.  Key word– “Testament”   In 2 Thessalonians 2:11 the Apostle Paul said about those in the church who refuse to obey Him that GOD WOULD SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION SO THAT THEY WOULD BELIEVE A LIE.  YES–GOD DELUDES SINNING CHURCH MEMBERS AND CAUSES THEM TO BELIEVE SATAN’S LIES.  See the Introduction to this website for some examples of such lies.

“GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS HIS WONDERS TO PERFORM.”   THE COVID-19 PENDEMIC, THE MAIL-IN BALLOTS AND THE ENTIRE ELECTION SCENARIO WAS A SET-UP ARRANGED AND ORCHESTRATED BY GOD FOR THE PURPOSE OFF BRINGING THE REBELLIOUS PEOPLE IN BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES DOWN.  JUST AS HE DECEIVED AHAB SO AS TO BRING HIM DOWN; JUST AS HE USED A LIE TO PROTECT THE MALE ISRAELITE CHILDREN IN EGYPT; JUST AS HE USED A RELIGIOUS SACRIFICE TO DESTROY THE PROPHETS OF BAAL; JUST AS HE USED A FAKE WORSHIP SERVICE TO BRING ABOUT THE DESTRUCTION OF BAAL WORSHIPERS;  JUST AS HE SENDS STRONG DELUSION TO CAUSE SINNING CHURCH PEOPLE TO BELIEVE A LIE– GOD IS USING AN EPIDEMIC TO EXPOSE HIS ENEMIES IN WASHINGTON, D.C. BEFORE THE EYES OF THE ENTIRE WORLD.  When and how He will do this remain a secret known only to Him.  It might be in four days or four years from now, BUT IT WILL BE.  L.J.
