Israel And The Church–The Covenant Connection (Pt. 1) This new series will complete the teachings relative to the connection among ancient Israel, God’s true church and the nations which comprise Biblical Israel today, namely Britain, the United States and the tiny nation known as “Israel.”
In this Scripturally-based series, we will do extensive research in the Holy Bible while exploring such subjects as Israel under the old covenant by which she had to prove ownership by God and her failure to do so, forcing Him to create another law that involved blood sacrifice. We will see that Israel failed miserably and was defeated, enslaved and scattered throughout the world where she became “lost” from sight, the result of her having accepted the identities, languages, religions and social practices of the nations among whom she settled.
Because of her spiritual condition, scattered, unknown Israel needed a new covenant which the Almighty provided for those who would become His New Covenant Church. This new covenant involved the writing of the eternal Ten Commandment Law on the hearts of true believers. We will prove Scripturally that Jesus came to confirm the promises He had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, whose descendants He came to save. It was to these Israelites that He sent the apostles. It was these globally-scattered Israelites that He referred to as “white fields” that the apostles were to reap. We will prove Biblically that upon His return He will gather Israel to Himself from where they have been scattered. Many of them will be identified by the nations in which they had settled.
Lastly, we will compare Scriptures that prove beyond a doubt that Israel and the Lord’s true church are one in the same. Those who love God’s Word and want to know His Truth will enjoy this series. Those who believe and obey the numerous Scriptures that will be presented will become spiritual Jews and Israelites which is necessary in order to effect conversion and to receive the promises made to the Israelite and Jewish fathers.
