In Isaiah 3:4,5,12 we find the ancient prophet of God warning Israel that, if they did not turn from their wicked ways, repent, believe His Word and obey it, a time would come when people with childlike mentality and emotional stability would rule over them. Time has proven that the Israel of today (Britain, the United States and Judah–called “Israel”) has fallen away from her Maker and has followed the way of Satan. As prophesied by Isaiah, America’s national leaders act, think and speak like children–a collection of spoiled adult brats who have become a national disgrace and an international embarrassment. As prophesied, babes occupy the nation’s capital and many statehouses and legislatures. And as we have seen of late, THE SWAMP IS NOT ONLY FULL, IT IS GROWING AND SPREADING AND IS SPILLING OUT INTO THE STREETS OF EVERYTOWN, USA.

Future replacements for the children of D.C. are taking over the media. Yesterday I counted seven (7) pictures of the gun-control spokesman on YouTube–MORE THAN THE PRESIDENT. This child represents millions of emotional and intellectual babes who have declared that “Revolution is here.” These children, whose concept of reality is what they see in those little boxes they stare into for hours each day, know only what they see in those boxes. These, ladies and gentlemen, are our future “princes.” Now let us study the first chapter of the Book of Isaiah where we find God, speaking through the prophet, giving modern day Israel a preview of her future and telling her why that future awaits.

Chapter 1, verse 1: This verse has proven to be a problem for many Bible readers who assume that Isaiah’s letter was written only to, for and about the House of Judah for that period in time. Due to Isaiah’s introduction, most “Bible scholars” and their followers do not believe that the warnings from Isaiah hold any relevance for today’s New Testament Church which the Apostle Paul called “the Israel of God” in Galatians 6:16. This is understandable in that in his introduction Isaiah notes that the vision God gave him concerned “Judah and Jerusalem” during the reigns of several Judahite (Jewish) kings. However, by studying what else the Lord said to Him about his letter leads us to chapter 2 verse 5 where we find Him telling Isaiah to see to it that his letter would go to “the House of Jacob” (Israel)–the other 10 tribes of Israel then located in the northern part of the Promised Land. It must be noted that Isaiah wrote his letter between 792 and 722 B.C. He was in the process of finishing it when the 10 northern tribes–the House of Israel–were defeated and carried off to Assyria as slaves. Later they would be scattered globally–“lost” to rest of the world, including the Jews. As a result the 10 northern tribes were not given the opportunity to read Isaiah’s warnings.

But Isaiah’s letter was not written for the Israelites of his day. Rather, it was written for their descendants (Britain, the U.S. and the Jews) who would be living in the latter days just before the return of Jesus Christ. For this reason the Lord preserved the letter in His Holy Bible so that the “House of Jacob” could read it, believe it and obey it at the time of the end. Just as God told Daniel to “seal up” his book until the “end of the end times,” Isaiah’s letter/book was spiritually “sealed up” until these latter days. Both books have been in existence all these centuries but man’s mind was shut off from understanding their messages. As promised, God is opening the eyes of His true servants to understand their meanings in these days just before His Son returns to establish His kingdom on earth. Today, men’s spiritual eyes are being opened to the messages that have been hidden for so long. As noted in the previous posting, God also gave the Prophet Jeremiah a commission to do exactly what Daniel and Isaiah were to do. Today, in the end times, God’s people are studying the writings of these holy men of old in His Holy Bible. Truly, God knows the beginning from the end. L.J.
