Though available to all Truth seekers, what the reader is being taught in this series is known by a minutely few people worldwide. If what is being preached and taught within what the world knows as “the church” is all her parishioners know about God and His Word, only a few thousand at most are aware of even a general idea of what He has promised to His Very Elect. Probably not more than a dozen people know what I am about to share with the readers of this website.

Jesus, as a man, demanded that His followers live as He lived and, when called upon, spoke and lived the will of the Father so that others could see the Father in them. This Truth is brought out in several Scriptures, among them are: “Freely you have received, freely give” (Mat. 10:8) and “For unto whom much is given, of him much is required” (Lk. 12:48). These two passages apply to all who would be His disciples, both ministry and laity. Recall that Stephen the miracle worker was not a minister, but rather a waiter of tables. Like Stephen, the true believer never knows when he will be called upon by God to do the impossible under the power of the Holy Spirit. We must all be ready to be used by God at all times. The first time God used me to perform a miracle I was totally surprised. Nevertheless, He bypassed a number of men who had come before me, singled me out and told me to cast a demon out of a woman I did not know. He also told me to ask for a waste can prior to the deliverance because the woman, He told me, would vomit out the demon. I told the woman to hold the waste can up to her face. Then I ordered the evil spirit to come out of her Christ’s name. It erupted out of her mouth in the form of vomit. My life has not been the same since. Who was I? The same as I am today–a powerless child who simply believes God. If me, why not you? The Truths I put forth in this series apply potentially to everyone. Who knows who might be the next Stephen? John 14:12 is a passage most Bible readers deliberately overlook, or if they read it, summarily dismiss it due to unbelief. It is one of the first verses God led me to after I became aware of His call on my life. The other focal passage was Psalms 119 where He showed me all the different Words He uses to identify His holy Word–His Bible–His holy Scriptures. By leading me to that book He was telling me that everything spiritual comes back to His Word because everything concerning Him is found in His Word. As His #1 Biblical writer said in Ephesians 2:20, the New Covenant Church was founded on the teachings of the Old Testament prophets and the New Testament Apostles AND NOTHING ELSE–not church doctrine, not in-depth scriptural interpretation, not the book of Mormon, not the Catholic version of the Bible, not the Watch Tower handouts and not by the pronouncements of so-called Bible scholars. I have heard them all and reject 95% of what they say. THEY ARE ALL VOICING SATAN’S GOSPEL. And their Biblically ignorant disciples believe them because they do not know God’s Truth.

In John 14:12 Jesus makes a most astounding statement, one which I believed the first time I read it: “Verily, verily (with certainty) I say unto you, He who believes in Me, THE WORKS THAT I DO HE SHALL DO ALSO, AND GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL HE DO ….” Note the words “WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN ME.” That means anyone who has Christ level faith can do everything He did–AND MORE. Think about it. When I read that through eyes of faith my spirit leapt within me. It still does. Christ level faith simply means believing what God said without exception and acting on it.

Jesus, being a man like all other men (see Jesus of Nazareth: God, Man or God-man?), had no innate power within Himself to do anything. He admitted this fact when He said: “I can of Myself (by My own power) do nothing” (Jn. 5:30). In John 14:10 He said that even the Words He spoke were given to Him by the Father. It was the Father’s Words Jesus spoke relative to being “IN” and “ONE WITH” Himself and God. Which brings us to the promises God made to those who believe and obey His Words to the point that they become associate members of the real Holy Trinity. God wants all to be part of their own personal Trinity by being “IN” and “ONE WITH” God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. L.J.
