As stated earlier, Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, like the Ten Commandments, comprise God’s entire Law (Genesis to Revelation) in miniature. I will remind the reader that the Old Testament was recorded for OUR INSTRUCTION UPON WHOM THE ENDS OF THE WORLD HAVE COME, meaning the New Covenant Church. Also be reminded that holy men of old spoke what God said to them through His Holy Spirit. While He was on earth Jesus spoke to the apostles audibly and demonstrated His Words through His “walk”–lifestyle. Following His death He spoke to them through the Holy Spirit–the channel (power) through which the Godhead and the saint converse and by which They do their work. The Almighty arranged to have the words and acts of the prophets and the apostles recorded for those who would be living during the last days of this age. Because the two focal chapters have been discussed at length in earlier postings I will ask the reader to study them carefully on his own. In those chapters God’s will for mankind is plainly presented. His message is clear. If we obey His Word He will bless us in every way; if we disobey His Word He will curse us in every way. God cannot lie; what He said He would do, He will do. Whether He blesses us or curses us is totally in our hands. I trust that the reader will study those two chapters knowing that what is written therein was written specifically to and for the individual reader. Regarding the focal chapters, if one believes God’s Law and obeys it his life will begin to conform to the first 13 verses in each chapter. If not, one will suffer the consequences stated in the remainder of each chapter.
By diligent study of the Scriptures we have come to know what the Lord commands of us, which is strict obedience to our only source of spiritual Truth–His Word (Jn. 17:17)–without which man would have no knowledge of God and Christ. Recall that Jesus told the disciples that it was for them to know “the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven.” Recall also that He spoke to the multitude in parables because it was “… not for them to know” those mysteries. We will now be introduced to some of the “mysteries” He will gladly share with those who truly seek His will for them and who will do what is necessary in order to bring His will to fruition in their lives. These, having been called, will answer His call. Sadly, not all who are called with answer.
The most important “mystery” is, in my opinion, is the mystery of “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27). Unless one believes and responds correctly to this mystery, the rest of the Bible is irrelevant. Recently, while studying the gospel of John the Lord opened my eyes to understand the mystery mentioned in Colossians 1:27. The mystery, which is hidden from the world’s religious multitudes, is much deeper than Paul revealed to the church of his day. That revelation became the basis for this series which reveals what God showed me concerning a type of “trinity” (my word) of which the true saint is a part. What the reader is about to learn is the most powerful revelation I have ever received from the Lord. I hope that many will have eyes to see the mystery it contains and will become part of their own “trinity.”
As I mentioned earlier, there is no such thing as a “trinity” which the Counterfeit Church puts forth as “Bible truth.” In the series titled The Trinity I prove Scripturally that there is no divine triumvirate made up of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The trinity hoax was devised by Satan to keep Truth seekers from becoming part of their own personal trinity, which is a word I use to describe what God has shown me about the relationship between Himself, Jesus and the true saint. The word “trinity” is not found in the Bible. Nor is there so much as a hint that such a three-deity configuration exists.
However, as the Lord revealed to me, there is a three membered type of “trinity” composed of the two Members of the Godhead and the true saint. Unlike the original Godhead which has been in existence forever, the third member must EARN an invitation to join Them by believing and obeying Their Words. In a spiritual sense, one who is IN God and Christ and is ONE WITH THEM is a third, albeit lesser (adjunct) member of the Godhead. An adjunct is associated with another person of group, though occupying a subordinate status. Though the adjunct has the same rights, privileges and powers as his superiors, he operates on a lower level during his earthly tenure. He is in total subjection to his superiors who GRANT to him his powers, rights and privileges and DIRECT his use of them. In this position, the adjunct can do only what his superiors allow, empower and direct him to do. The subservient member has been awarded membership in the Holy Family by obeying his superiors’ command to “Be ye holy for I am holy” (1 Pet. 1:16). The word “for” (because) reveals that the saint must exhibit holiness in order to be part of Holy Family, “for” unholiness and holiness do not mix. There is no darkness in Them, only light. The adjunct must exhibit that same light in order to be accepted by Them into their family. In other words, to join the two-membered Godhead one must “walk as He (Jesus) walked” (1 Jn. 2:6), purify himself as He did (1 Jn. 3:3) by washing (himself) with the water that is the Word (Eph. 5:26), which enabled Him to overcome Satan. The saint must follow in His footsteps in order to overcome him and sit with Jesus on His throne in the Kingdom of God (Rev. 3:21). The Godhead supplies the power (Holy Spirit) to obey those commands and thereby meet the qualifications They require to be part of a holy trinity. L.J.
