If I was Satan I would not allow my church members to understand the relationship between the God of the Old Testament and His New Testament counterpart.  I would deceive my followers into believing that They were two different Gods with two different sets of rules and two different methods of rule enforcement.

If I was Satan I would have all Catholic and Protestants believe that the Old Testament God was a harsh, totalitarian, no options, my-way-or-the-highway, Law-enforcing dictator who did not want His people to enjoy life, but rather to endure it.  I would have them believe that the New Testament God was a gentle, laissez faire God Whose goal was to make His people feel comfortable in whatever spiritual stance they assumed.  I would present Him as sweet baby Jesus of manger fame who had simply grow up and wanted to gently coax them to hopefully see things His New Testament way.  But if they didn’t, all is well because He had died to make His new religion a universally-accepted, all-inclusive, any-way-you-want-it religious organization.  If I was Satan I would convince my church members that the only thing that matters to the New Testament God is that they BELIEVE IN HIM.  I would make them understand that what they believe relative to His will, as well as their reaction to what they believe is irrelevant.  My church motto would be “ONLY BELIEVE IN JESUS.”  All other beliefs and how they live relevant to their beliefs are irrelevant as long as they BELIEVE IN HIM.  Instead of having one Israelite church (congregation) (Acts 7:38) as did the Old Testament God, His Replacement would prefer a multi-bodied, Gentile religious system in which there is a church designed for every salvation seeker based on his/her religious preferences and preconceived ideas of what a church should be.  And if such a church did not exist, the seeker could create one, call it a church, proclaim God’s approval of it and live according to its doctrines.  My new and improved version of God’s congregation would feature hundreds of different groups, each of which would claim to be THE church in which the Biblical God resides and which He is using to spread that church’s version of His gospel throughout the world.  All other churches would be tolerated by Him only because they believe in Him.  If I was Satan the Bible would not be the inerrant will of God, but rather a general outline of His will–like the frame of a house.  Each church would determine how to build upon the Biblical frame using those passages of Scripture that fit its concept of right and wrong.  Church doctrine (building materials) would consist of those Biblical statements she deemed acceptable.  All others could be either ignored or declared null and void.  Each church would be allowed to decorate and fill in the Biblical frame any way it desired as long as its members BELIEVED IN JESUS.

(A) Did the church affect a change in leadership and truth from the Old to the New Testament church?  Yes.  (B) Did God and Christ condemn the changes?  Yes.  (C) Were the Gods of the Old and New Testaments different Beings?  No.  If I was Satan I would keep (B) and (C) a secret from my followers.  And I would now allow the following to be read, heard, voiced, printed, believed or acted upon.

John 1:1-4,14 reveals that the Word, Who became Jesus of Nazareth, created ALL THINGS, which would include the stone-etched Law handed down from Mt. Sinai.  This means that it was the Word–the second member of the Godhead–who was with the Israelites (congregation) in the Sinai wilderness for 40 years (Acts 7:38).  In Hebrews 3:6-4:14 the New Testament God, speaking through His apostle, warned the church then and now not to harden their hearts as did their fathers in the wilderness when they “… tempted ME and saw MY works for 40 years (3:8,9).  In verses 10 and 11 the NEW TESTAMENT GOD  added: “I was grieved …, I swore in MY wrath that they would not enter into MY rest.”  Who was the I, ME, MY the Israelites dealt with for 40 years as they wandered in the Sinai wilderness?  If I was Satan I would not allow my people to know that it was JESUS Who brought the Israelites out of Egypt, Whose rest they had failed to enter into, Whose works they observed for 40 years, and Whose WRATH they had incurred.  I would not allow my captives to read that the Israelites coming out of Egypt “… drank of that spiritual ROCK that was with them, and that Rock was CHRIST” (1 Cor. 10:4).  In 3:9 Paul warned the Corinthians not to TEMPT CHRIST as some of their Israelite ancestors had done.  If I was Satan those passages would be off limits to my church system.

Galatians 3:8 tells us that the SCRIPTURE preached THE (ONE AND ONLY) GOSPEL TO ABRAHAM.  In Hebrews 4:2 we are told that the SAME GOSPEL that had been preached to the ISRAELITES was preached to “US” (the New Testament Church).  I would not let my church know this, nor would I allow her to learn that it was JESUS, the WORD/SCRIPTURE (Jn. 1:1) Who preached the gospel to Abraham as well as to the 12 disciples.  His modern day ministers continue to preach that same gospel today (Mat. 24:14).

If I was Satan I would keep the following Truth from my people.  In John 1:18 we are told that “NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME.”  Along with Adam, Eve, Cain, Able, Noah, Moses, Abraham and Jacob, thousands of people saw Jesus of Nazareth when He walked this earth.  Therefore, it was the Word Who became Jesus of Nazareth Who created the universe (Jn. 1:14), who led Israel out of Egypt, Who wrote the Law in stone, Who was born in a manger, Who preached the gospel to men, healed the sick, cast out demons and raised the dead before thousands of people.  It was JESUS Who wrote and preserved the Ten Commandments to be given to “US” –the New Testament Church (Acts 7:38).  It was Jesus Who wrote His Law on stone anciently and promised to write THAT SAME LAW on the hearts of His true saints at a later time (Jer. 31:31-34/ Heb. 8:10-12).  My people would not know that we are living in that prophesied time.

If I was Satan I would keep my parishioners from knowing that the New Testament God is the same wrathful God who, though born as a sweet little baby, has grown up and is now known as the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH.  My people would remain ignorant of the fact that the same Jesus who dictated the Book of Revelation with all of its death and mayhem is the One Who will orchestrate the Great Tribulation and the terrible Day of the Lord during which 2/3 of the world’s population will die.

Lastly, If I was Satan I would not allow my victims to believe what King David said in Psalm 110:1: “The Lord said to my Lord ….”  Notice that he mentions two Lords, one of which was HIS LORD.  THE Lord was God–one half of the Godhead.  David’s Lord was the Word Who became Jesus of Nazareth.  This was the Lord with Whom he dealt on a day-to-day basis and to Whom he answered.  It was David’s Lord (Jesus), not the Lord God, Who raised him to great honor for his obedience, then lowered him to great dishonor because of his sins.  It was the Word/Jesus Who elevated Israel to the greatest of heights, then destroyed the nation by scattering them throughout the world where they remain to this day.  The ROCK with Whom the children of Israel dealt in the Sinai desert is the SAME ROCK WHO IS THE CORNERSTONE UPON WHICH THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH WAS BUILT AND UPON WHOM SHE CONTINUES TO REST.  IT IS THOSE SCATTERED ISRAELITES WHO COMPRISE THE MAJORITY WITHIN THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH TO THIS DAY.  GENTILES WHO HAVE BECOME SPIRITUAL ISREALITES MAKE UP THE REMAINDER OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.

If I was Satan I would not allow my people to know the Truths written in this message.  I would not allow them to read any posting on this website.  I would keep them Scripturally ignorant and therefore under my control.  And because ignorance is bliss, I would use my prophets to assure them every Sun God Day that they are saved and born again, that all they need to do between now and the rapture is BELIEVE IN JESUS, that obedience to His Law is not only unnessary, it is impossible.  I would tell them to relax, it’s all good.  I would assure them that they need not be concerned about obeying God in that half of them have Mary to handle their sin problems and the other half have Grace.  L.J.
