In the beginning God created billions of stars, numerous galaxies, a sun, a moon and several planets.  He also created multitudes of animals, rodents, serpents, bugs, birds, fish, and most important of all–man (Heb.–Adam).  He later created a Law that, in its written form, is called the Holy Bible, which He graciously condensed into Ten Commandments.  His Law is eternal, meaning that it existed before the earth existed.

Question: isn’t it strange that out of all of the billions of entities God created and called VERY GOOD, that He has allowed one of them to be totally eliminated and replaced by a substitute.  That rejected, discarded and replaced creation is the 4th Commandment of His Law known as the “Sabbath Commandment.”  By rejecting that one commandment, man has rejected the entire Law of God by which He tells mankind how to be one with Him.

That He allowed this to take place is significant.  Let us remember that He specifically commanded that not one jot or tittle (comma, apostrophe, etc.) could be added to, removed from or changed in that Law (Mat. 5:18/ Lk. 16:17).  This is the same Law Jesus said He did not come to destroy, but to fulfill (obey)–Mat. 5:17.  This is the same Law He came to earth to magnify and to make honorable (Isa. 42:21).  His Law, His Holy Book, His Words, His Truth are all one and the same.  Jesus Himself was originally called “the Word” (Jn. 1:1-4,14).  He said that heaven and earth would pass away, but not one Word of His Law would pass away until everything He had prophesied had come to pass (Mat. 24:35).  The Apostle James wrote that to break even one of God’s commandments is to break the entire Law (2:10) making one guilty of iniquity.  Jesus said that, never having known the person intimately, He would reject such a person at judgment (Mat. 7:23).

In spite of this, someone chose to reject and replace one of the thousands of statements He had recorded in His Holy Scriptures.  That statement–one of the billions of entities He had created, was the 4th Commandment.  Though the removal and replacement of the commandment happened in the fourth century A.D., the attempt to replace God’s Law goes back to before He re-created the earth and the heavens as recorded in Genesis chapters 1 and 2.

God had created millions, perhaps billions of angels long before the events of Genesis 1:2 took place.  We do not know how many years, possibly centuries passed between the earth’s creation as noted in verse one and His re-creation of it beginning in verse two.  Before the earth’s creation as noted in verse one, God created the angels.  Upon His creation of the earth the angels, seeing its beauty, shouted (Job 38:4-7).  One of those angels was a magnificent being named Lucifer to whom God appointed to be the earth’s caretaker.  Not satisfied with his exalted position, Lucifer tried to overthrow God in order to take His place as ruler of the entire universe, including God Himself along with those angels who remained with Him.  Though Lucifer failed he did not give up his dream.  Having been cast back down to earth, he would try to take possession of it and rule it.

Lucifer, now called Satan and earthbound, made his way into the Garden of Eden where he implemented his plan to rule the earth, everything on it and the sky above it.  He knew He had to overcome and defeat the man God had placed in charge.  Satan (the Serpent) knew that in order to replace Adam as ruler he had to trick him into sinning, which would disqualify him as earth’s ruler.  Sinless Adam had been given rulership of the earth, everything on and under it, the seas and all that was in them as well as the sky above it and everything that flew in it (Gen. 1:28).  Read The Unknown Power of God’s Very Elect.  Key word–Unknown.

Adam and his mate lived in the beautiful garden God had created in an area called Eden.  Knowing that he would have better luck with Eve than with Adam, Satan worked his charm on her during a private conversation.  This time he was successful.  Knowing that only God could determine good and evil, he won the war by convincing Eve that she and Adam could replace God and therefore decide what was good and evil.  So persuasive was the Serpent that he convinced her that they could defy their Creator, break His Law by eating the forbidden fruit which would open their eyes to the real truth, which would be whatever they wanted the truth to be.  Also, he convinced her that God’s threat of death for defying Him was a lie.  Even if they sinned, they would, the Serpent assured her, live forever. Eve convinced Adam to believe the Serpent and the rest is history.

For Satan, it was all part of the plan.  With Adam out of the way he became “the god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4), the status he occupies to this day.  Lucifer/Satan, using Eve as his instrument of deception, had deceived Adam into sinning which removed him from his world-rulership position.  Having defeated him, Satan became the god of the earth and of all of the human systems (the world) that would exist upon it to this day.  Both Biblical and secular history prove that he is still the god of the world’s human inhabitants and the worldly systems they have produced, most of which have gone “woke” over the past few years.

Since his initial victory over Adam, Satan has succeeded in deceiving the whole world into believing his ministers and following them into his system of false religion with its hundreds of religious offerings designed to scratch the itching ears of every person ever born.

Question: how did one lone fallen angel accomplish such a momentous feat?  He used human beings to gain control over all of humankind.  Beginning with Eve, the system that worked so well in Eden continues to work today.  Through his human associates he lures human beings into his religious abyss and keep them there.  HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH HIS PROPHETS WHAT HE FAILED TO ACCOMPLISH ANCIENTLY.  HIS HUMAN MESSENGERS CONVINCE THEIR FELLOW MAN THAT HE (MAN) CAN REPLACE GOD.  AS GODS, MEN AND WOMEN HAVE POWER TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG, GOOD AND EVIL.  GOD, CHRIST, THE BIBLE, THE CHURCH, ETC. ARE PROPS FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR DISCIPLES USE TO PRODUCE THE APPEARANCE OF SPIRITUALITY AND TO MAKE THEMSELVES FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES.  MAN HAS BECOME THE MASTER OF SELF-DECEPTION (JAM. 1:22).  BE IT KNOWN THAT IN REALITY, SATAN IS THE POWER BEHIND MAN’S DECEPTION OF HIMSELF.

The primary character of God–that which makes him God–is the power to create.  Satan convinces man that he can do away with what God created and substitute his (man’s) own creation.  This began in Eden when Adam and Eve displaced God and became their own gods by giving themselves the power to decide good and evil.  They did this by partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thereby breaking one of the commandments in God’s Edenic Law (Gen. 2:16,17).  With extremely rare exception, Adam and Eve’s descendants have followed in their religious footsteps.

By convincing man to reject God’s Sabbath and create his own sabbath, Satan has developed a billions-strong religious system in which iniquity (Law-breaking) is the foundation stone on which his system rests.  For proof, consider the following.  What is the one characteristic the world, including the atheist world, recognizes, accepts and practices relative to Christianity?  It is THE SUNDAY SABBATH (THE DAY OF REST).  See the Introduction to this website for a list of some of the church’s other heathen foundation stones.  Indeed, Satan has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9) into recognizing his sun god day (Sunday) as THE sabbath (rest) day.

Today, as it has been for almost 2000 years, the world does not recognize God’s chosen, blessed, sanctified, holy day as the Sabbath.  Led by the counterfeit church, the civilized world recognizes as the “day of rest” the day sun worshipers paid homage to their god anciently.  Some openly blaspheme God by calling Sunday “the Lord’s Sabbath.”  The wiley Satan uses man, specifically his false prophets, to lead masses of salvation seekers into his religious system and keep them there.  Presenting themselves as “apostles of Christ” and “ministers of righteousness,” they draw the Scripturally ignorant and unbelieving masses into the “angel of light’s” religious web (1 Cor. 11:13-15).  They keep them under his control by having them re[eatedly break one commandment in God’s Law.  By making the “Sabbath Switch” legitimate in the eyes of man, Satan keeps his numerous congregations under his control.  In the following posting we will identify the men Satan used to pull off the “Sabbath Switch,” when they did so and why.  L.J.
